Who uses Live Chat support on their website(s) currently? Not asking to name any particular company but What areas of opportunity do you see in the company you use? Also, is it pay per lead or a monthly charge? I've been working with managing live chat agents for over 8 years but with one specific industry. Looking to branch out but want to do a little more research first.

I use it, but I would never outsource it to another company.

All that's going to do it frustrate people because the chat agents don't really know anything about the website's products or topic.

People should just run the chat support themselves.

I use it and try to close as many sales in real time as possible.

Another cool little script add-on I have implemented on my site is that I get a full report of the IP address visiting my site, how long they are on each page, and also each place they click (if any)

I think everyone is going to have different opinions.

I know a company that is doing over $20mm per year and they outsource 100% of their chat / email support, using VA's from Philippines.
