Facebook Marketing - Use It? Love It? Hate It?

Hey

Anyone out there in the WF using Facebook marketing? How's it working out for you? Just curious because I recently started a site I think could benefit significantly from it (more so than most niches) and I was just curious if anyone had any thoughts/opinions on it before I set up a big Facebook marketing plan... thanks!

There's lots of talk about social traffic not being worth it because these people don't buy, but my experience is different.

I used facebook Ads and had fantastic results. I marketed a make money program spending $11 on clicks and made over $300. All my sales came from South Africa (US clicks are too expensive).

The only trouble I found was that facebook is very picky about your ads and landing pages and they keep 'moving the goal post'. Also this was during the time when Clickbank sent checks monthly and facebook likes to dig into your credit card and take fees for ad spend at irregular times. This messed up my cash flow terribly.

If you've got good cash flow already and can afford it, give facebook ads a try. Remember to test and tweak.

By the way, this is how you turn an untargeted web 2.0 user into a qualified prospect.

    1. Ask a question - In my case I asked "Would You Like To Make Some Money?

    2. Create compelling ad copy for your target audience - In my case I was targeting 18 - 34 year olds so I said: "Discover how a 23 Y/O College dropout, makes $3000 a month from their basement, working only 3 hours per day"

    3. Create a landing page and presell the product. Include an opt-in box at the top of the page - you'll get lots of leads from facebook.

    4. Forward them to vendor salespage and check your clickbank/paydotcom stats.

That's it! Give it a go, if you've got the capital.

    Cheers,

    Hav

I feel that their PPC is very poor. But if you are creative enough for you niche and create a FB page, you can really make some sick cash.

      I agree with that.

I do a lot of FB Marketing and must say that my best results come from under the radar marketing building out FaceBook Fan Pages and building lists.

I recently grew a FB Fan Page over 600% in less than 2 days and captured 88% of the names that joined the fan page through an optin...they were then put into an 7 Day AR that converted them into a monthly continuity that converted at over 30%

The real money (in my opinion) with FB comes from creating vibrant FAn pages specific to a niche that cultivate community interaction via contests, pointed questions and video tagging...

This combination used in conjunction with the right Twitter implementation and Youtube video integration can have Tremendous results and spark exponential growth....all for FREE!

      Highest Regards,
      Sean
