How to Get Real Testimonials for Product

Hello Warriors,

So I'm currently in the process of creating my first information product, which I will sell on Clickbank, and I was wondering -- how do I go about getting real testimonials?

I emphasize 'real' because I intend to use these testers' full names and photos. My info product is in the "health" niche and I want to give it away for free, in exchange for an honest testimony of his/her results after following the directions in the guide.

Do you guys have any advice and recommendation on ways of doing this (i.e. websites, services, personal experiences, etc.)?

    You've answered your own question. If you know your target audience, then you should know where to find your potential customers. Offer your product to them for free in return for a review. In my experience, not everyone will actually give you a review, but some will.

    To get high quality reviews, you may want to reach out to established/trusted 'experts' in your field. For example, if you're in the health market, you may want to find doctors/nurses/medical professionals that work with your health issue and get their professional review.

    As far as on-going reviews, I follow-up after the sale and offer a related/add-on product for free to customers for a review. That's an easy way to quickly build a good number of reviews.

    Agree. Find where are your potential customers and offer them your product for free in exchange of a review just like a lot of people do it here with their WSOs.

    Also if you already have previous customers you could contact them and ask them for a review.

    Join and hang out at FB group related to your specific health niche. It's good you can list out the criteria on the post that you are looking for those who are willing to become beta tester. You may also pick a certain number of beta tester (say 10) and list out their name of those who has been chosen for the beta tester. This will at least hold them responsible to get back to you with their feedback and not missing in action after getting your products. Since you don't know each other, chances are you will get real, honest feedback.

    I'm guessing for the health niche you will need the photos but I found it hard to get people's full names and photos. In my opinion, unless they are an expert or authority figure then getting their full name is not big a priority. Could offer the ability to censor information if they request privacy.
