What has worked for you consistently to make money online?

Like many of you, I have made money doing a ton of different things online. What has consistently made you money?

What has consistently me money is getting companies published and featured in Forbes. I consistently make $10k to $20k per month, depending on how many people I speak with on any given month.

Second to that is finding physical products cheap and reselling them. This is harder but its still consistent, as long as I find something I can buy for much less than its worth. I've had $2k days with this, but its a little more random.

I do offline stuff too, but this is the only thing I do online. What about you? What has consistently made you money online?

I did that a long time ago in the past but I could never consistently make a profit.

Product creation has changed a lot over the years with software and apps that make it easier than ever! It's always best to have your own products....get people on your list....then provide valuable content and recommend affilaite products which you can provide honest reviews for.

This is what has worked best for me

I've found branded physical products to be the easiest type of products to make a great income with. Although, it usually (but not always) requires more start up capital than say affiliate marketing or drop shipping. I recently sold a business that bought the product for $19.50 and sold it like hot cakes for $99.

Why did you sell the business? Was it based on this one product?

Yes, to build a bigger, more brandable business in the same market but with different/better products. Yes, the business was limited to that one product.

I have been doing the same thing for the past 16 years.

I monetize purchased data (email) using PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers.

The underlying principles that make it work have never changed. The strategies have changed from time to time and you just have to adapt.

I have been doing various online businesses over the last 9 years and I can proudly say that I have made it big since a year ago. I have since given up completely all forms of Internet Marketing relating to SEO, and anything that requires being totally dependent on Google Traffic to survive an online business. So I have stopped doing Google Adsense, Amazon, blogging.

I am into the revenue sharing industry, a different, less known but more profitable online business with earnings of $32.7K in the last 6 months and daily earnings of $356 per day. In this industry you do have to be careful which ones you want to get involved in as there are many out there who do not have the experience or business knowledge to run a revshare business long term. The most important requirements of a good revshre company are honesty and trustworthiness of the owner.

GKP - Google Keyword Planner - basically Google shows you stats for keywords people have been searching for on google in the past. It will give you the number of searches, estimated cost per click for adwords advertisers etc.

Thanks. I'm familiar with Google Keyword Planner, just didn't know that's what GKP stood for. Got it now. Thanks again.

I feel like when it comes to IM, there will always be a way for you to make $2-5k easily if you follow the simply underlying steps. Most people that hit it big are those that take it nice and slow and make sure their value prop is seamless.

I recently began keeping my ear to the ground for IM and everything related by joining a shit tonne of forums, and I see there are many ways to consistently make income, but you have to be open minded and have a good willingness to learn.

example: A few years ago I met a 17 year old pushing 40k+ a month and I absolutely did not believe him. Turns out he wasn't lying and now that Im actually doing what he is essentially doing I decided to lose my suspicious hat and use an open mind. Could have easily been $300k richer had I kept my ears open. Being ignorant is a very expensive thing.

Thats sweet, affiliate always never interested me but if it works it works! i could always pair it with a niche im interested in. How successful has it gotten you? Are you earning $10k+/month yet? Is this for one site or many?

Thats nuts! im in physical products myself but my margins are more like $8 product cost and $50 price, net usually is $20 after everything. I usually offer free shipping and inflate the price, is this something you recommend? or is Lower Price + Shipping more reasonable?

Im assuming you either try to rank for it or pay for ads via Google correct? I mainly do Facebook marketing and push 30k+ a month revenue (25% net). Do you utilize fb also?

For this particular item, the cost was around $6 (minimum order of 100), we sold it in sets of 1, 3 and 6. Sets of 3 and 6 came with free flat rate shipping ($6). We paid $2.25 for fulfillment. Over 70% bought sets of 3 as the product ran out in about 30 days. Profit margins were extremely high but it was a very niche product and I think it's getting tougher to compete with more people finding it.

Man I'm jealous. I've been waiting to find a product like that with crazy margins that sells like hot cakes. Though I would have to know there is a large audience (not a small niche market) or I wouldn't touch it.

        How small was the market?

You picked a very good, long term thing to focus on. And the fact that you are "focusing" on something is also good.

One of the biggest sayings on the Warrior Forum used to be "the money is in the list". That statement will always be true in the indefinite future, whether or not email comes or goes. There will always be a way to communicate with your list.

I prefer the term "audience". My list is the offline businesses I work with. Any time I have something that can benefit them in some way, all I have to do is email them or call them. A mailing for me can bring a ton of money, though I email them very, very little because emailing them too much would destroy our relationship.
