  • Below are mine:

    - Upgrading my VPS to the higher packages
    - Expand my business to get more revenue (I build more sites)
    - Hire more gigs (freelancer guys) to reduce my working time (such as content writing)
    - Spend more time to travel and to my family

    • Hey Hynds, I really love the last 2 on yours!

One thing that has saved me time is outsourcing graphics to some of the
people in my FB group, I'm not crazy about Fiverr because of the back &
      forth.

I like being able to PM my friend and say whether something worked or not.

He usually gets it on the first try and I love that.

    • Hey Aizaku, do you use Photoshop or some kinda software?

I use a combination of Youzign 2.0 (very handy) and I just got Beta
access to Image Maker Pro by Brett Rutecky and it's pretty darn cool.

I used to use Canva and it works just fine as well.

    • Hey that's awesome Aravision!

Is there a particular kind of client you appeal to for this service?

Like restaurants, dentistries, or something else?

I think that's good information and it would help others here interested
      in that.

      Thanks man.

  • Right now I have many choices to start my own digital marketplace using so many ready-to-go website's templates where most of all plugins are included for an affordable cost. But the competition is getting crazier as well now.

  • Looks like humour isn't allowed on this forum.

Lets go with I know how to apply algebraic function to the cosine of the interplay between potential buyers and just freebie seekers thus initiating a fivefold increase on a standard campaign with doing nothing but one simple calculation.

    Easy when you know how.
  • I am a better at social media now than I was last year. I now know how to engage without being spammy. I can now plan content calendars better and schedule uploads of social posts during the most ideal times (unlike before, which was when I only had time.)

    • Excellent marydelacroix,

Yeah I started off as a spammer because I didn't know any better.

Now I get a LOT more engagement from real posts that are helpful, funny,
or just keep it native you know?

I was always chasing the money at first and didn't care much at all.

      No bueno.

      Not anymore.

      Thanks for the input.

  • Great question! and it also made me realize that this year is getting to its end!

Its been quite a year for me, I started to work as a Freelancer, I gain a lot of knowledge and skills on my work field, among other things.

Some of my biggest milestones were:
    • Sucessfully started my Freelancer business.
    • Learned a lot about digital marketing and social media marketing
    • I knew a lot of new people through internet.
    • I read more than 15 books, and the year is not over yet!.

    • Hey Lannisterdoor,

      That's some really good stuff!

Congratulations on some really good accomplishments!

I'm not sure how many full books I've read this year lol.

Might be close to 15, but man I've read a lot of ebooks and studied
      a lot myself.

Thanks for the input, you're doing great!

  • For me:

    - Quoting for jobs properly - not giving away discounts without asking
    - Following up payments
    - Project managing
    - Setting the expectation for clients
    - Saving
    - Saying no to people
    - Understanding when a client is not a good match for my business
  • Recognizing the value my 25+ years working offline in several 'service based industries' was not a waste of time. Currently, in the process of developing a full-scale lead generation business to assist other small business owners in keeping a steady influx of prospective buyers and jobs flowing through their doors.

All the time I've spent online, it's all starting to make sense, finally. I can make money helping others, and not have to work nearly as hard, and if all goes according to plan...make a shitload of money to boot!

Oh... and I still suck at video, so I still have more to learn, lol.
    • [1] reply
    • Yeah Art, it's funny how we think we know nothing, but we've been doing something for years!

I'm glad things are making sense for you now.

As far as video goes...just DO IT!

      Hee hee
