Affiliate and CPA marketing are pretty much the same thing. They're probably a little cheaper to get into than Dropshipping but not by much.

Dropshipping is a little more risky. You depend that your supplier has what your customer buys. CPA/Affiliate is probably better. Not by much.

I would go for CPA/Affiliate Marketing OVER dropshipping.

I haven't done CPA, but I've done a little dropshipping and didn't like it.

I'll go with affiliate marketing, but be careful...it's also easy to give people your customers
if you never create your own products.

People underestimate how hard affiliate marketing is.

The era when you could just put your affiliate link in Yahoo answers are gone.

You need to build TRUST with the people. You have to drive traffic, build trust with that traffic by offering content and then you have to convert that traffic. Do you even have an idea of how hard it is to create quality content?

Affiliate marketing is more of a long term strategy IMO.

Dropshipping is much better if you are new. I started a dropshipping business one month ago and i'm already making a few thousands in profit per month...I honestly have no idea what people are talking about when they say it is risky. When you know how to do it there is absolutely no risk...you don't even buy the inventory upfront...that's the whole point of dropshipping..

Dropshipping and Kindle publishing are the two easiest methods that I know of to make money online. They don't require any investments also.

I just started dropshipping like one month ago so I don't consider myself an expert at this yet,

But your only cost will be advertising. If you already have a facebook page or instagram page, that's awesome and you could start making money right away, but if you don't , you basically will have to pay for facebook ads.

You start with a budget of $5 per day to test the water and you will see soon enough if there is a market for it.

You will also have to pay the product upfront when someone buy. So if you dropship from Aliexpress for example. Someone will buy on your store, you will go on aliexpress and order the item. The person from china will ship to the customer. If you use paypal, you will receive the money directly in your account! If you use shopify payment system, it will take a few days before they send you the money.

So yes, you have to put a little bit of money upfront, but it is nothing compared to Amazon FBA for example, with which you have to order at LEAST 250 units in advance.

Someone could easily start a dropshipping business with $50. This is why I say this is one of the easiest busines to get into (the other one being kindle publishing).

    "Which", not "wich"....

Read about dropshipping here > https://www.shopify.co.uk/blog/64920...to-sell-online

As for affiliate marketing and CPA, you can't say which one is easier or more difficult - they sort of tie up together anyway...If you promote a CPA offer and get paid - that's affiliate marketing, so it's useless comparing these 2 terms, as they form one activity.

I have been promoting CPA/affiliate offers for over 16 years.

More specifically, I heavily promote lead generation offers because there is no credit card / purchase required. All a user has to do is fill out a form, so conversion rates are typically much higher than offers that require a sale be made.

That's the way I would go.

CPA is quicker if you don't intend to build your list. But if you want to build your list and them market to them later then Affiliate marketing & list building is the way to go.

    Hope that helps

I think it's dropshipping because you don't even need a website. You can get customers by posting an ad on craig's list or ebay. [Disclosure: I don't do this dropshipping business but I have bought products from dropshippers on craig's list!]

I assume that you are planning to set up your own passive business, and I perfectly understand why you are weighing amongst these 3 options. The truth is, all of these 3 marketing strategies are equally viable and profitable. Firstly, CPA and affiliate marketing are quite similar in nature. All you need to do is persuade your audience to take a particular action (like subscribing to a newsletter or buying a product) and you’ll get a cut on all the sales. Easier and more practical, CPA and affiliate marketing can help you gain income without lifting a finger. Dropshipping, on the other hand, requires you to set up a storefront and transact with suppliers of products, making it a bit more challenging than its counterparts. Nonetheless, all of these marketing strategies have their own pros and cons, and it basically boils down to your goals and preferences as a marketer

I have tried out almost everything, including affiliate marketing, CPA marketing and dropshipping. Basically, all these 3 are quite easy to set-up. Plus, they do not require high upfront fees. The only difference is that you would have to invest more time and effort in dropshipping as compared to CPA and affiliate marketing. Nevertheless, all these 3 strategies are great ways to earn passively. All you need to do now is research on the approach that matches your preferences and resources.
