What has your biggest win been online so far?

I've been into this IM thang for about 2 years now.

Really only making money within the last year.

My biggest win was launching a mini product here on the Warrior Forum for
the first time.

I didn't really know what all I was doing as far as the logistics go, just figured
it out by researching or asking friends.

Come launch day, I made 17 sales and netted roughly $100 ($20 for WSO post).

Mostly because I gained some buyer subs and did it with no affiliate support at all.

I don't have the biggest email list in the world.

I do have an awesome Facebook group (that helps), but it's at around 360 members
or so, that helped (oh and I do FB live videos too, that also helped!).

What about you?

-Phil

I finally started to make money online only recently. After years of struggle and hard work, success seems to be finally rolling in. I create android apps these days and this month I have done no work at all (due to some family issues) but have crossed $350 and hope to reach around $450 by the end of the month.
To me, making money without doing any kind of work, no marketing is the biggest win of my IM career.

$350 might not be much but considering I didn't spent even a single minute on apps, I feel very happy to share it.

Hey Sanjon, thank you so much for sharing and way to freakin' go!

That's awesome and I totally agree that making money when you've
done no work (or done the work beforehand I guess lol) is AWESOME.

      Thanks for the input.

Hey bud, that's awesome! It was about 7 or 8 years ago when I got my first Google check... I still have it. Didn't even cash it, it was like $17... and I was SO PUMPED! My fiance at the time looked at me like I was nuts, we couldn't even go out for dinner on that check and I was excited?! Ok....

But I knew it was a major milestone for me, because the previous 9 months I had been grinding - GRINDING - I mean 100 hour+ weeks and all that - and just working towards getting traction.

That $17 check was HUGE for me.

7 years later I am still full time with no boss, I have freedom, and making plenty of money. And I was 100% right about that $17... it wasn't the dollar amount I was excited about. It was proof that I was on the right path and my hard work would pay off.

      Keep on truckin brother

Hey Wolfy, thanks for chiming in.

It's crazy how them first commissions are like a weight off of your shoulders!

        That's awesome that you're full-time now man.

Hey that's awesome Robert (Andrew is my middle name, small world lol).

I haven't been online that long myself, but it's amazing what limiting beliefs
you have at first and how they're blown out of the water when you get things
      going.

      Good stuff bro.

Hey pregyrick, that's awesome on both accounts!

Yeah, I've gotta get into the membership site game eventually.

Not there yet, but it's coming.

Sorry Kylie Jenn Spear, I'm not sure about that myself.

The only thing I can say is use Facebook to find leads.

Everybody and their dog is on there and it's time to go do some mining lol.

There are Facebook groups/pages galore to do some research.

      Good luck!

In all due respect (trying to seriously not be mean) but if you have been at this for 2 years and have not made ONE sale...then you may need to reevaluate and take a step back and ask yourself if this is for you or not

      Hey sachin5120, that's awesome!

Congratulations, I haven't really done much on Click Bank myself,
I've been more on the Warrior Plus/Jv Zoo platforms and another binary

1,000 views and 1,000 social shares? Or do you mean a total of 1,000?

Since I started doing IM, I've changed careers repeatedly and gone broke multiple times, but I really wanted to make my business a lifestyle and find success. I started selling web content to small and medium-sized businesses, marketing my services entirely online.

My biggest win was probably the biggest contract that I got for my services as a writer - 2000 words for $250 USD. I was really happy that someone would pay this much for my services. The contract has also been renewed multiple times which is a fantastic thing for my business.

I live in Canada and because our dollar is very cheap right now, it's highly beneficial for me to get paid in US dollars. If you keep working hard and improving yourself, good things are always around the corner for you.

No one loses in this business until they stop trying.

So take every positive step you make in IM as a big "win."

When you finally get a web site up and running, that's a win.
When you get your first actual interested subscriber on your list, that's a win.
When you publish your first offer or affiliate link, that's a win.
When you make your first dollar, that's a win.
When you make more in a month than you spend, that's a win.
    When you have a $25 dollar day, then a $100 dollar day, then a $1,000 day . . .
When you no longer have money concerns, that's a win.

Celebrate each and every advance you make toward your goals - it will help to keep your engine running!

That's what I'm freakin' talking about.

Guys, it's good to appreciate what you've been able to accomplish
RATHER than comparing your results to that of someone more
      advanced than you.

Small wins lead to big wins.

@sachin5120 - A person is never defeated unless they accept defeat in their mind.

With all that said, if someone has been trying for 2 years and not yet made a sale, it's time to stop the insanity and approach things differently.

Some people get 'persistence' and 'not quitting' confused with madness. It does not make sense to keep doing the same thing over and over when it is not yielding results for you.

You have to try a different approach or get a coach to help identify where you are going wrong.

104 weeks with no results is insane.

Keep going though (just don't keep doing the same thing hoping for a different result).

My biggest "win" would be when I closed my first $38,000 web dev project. My margins are 50-60%. I got the client via a sales funnel so I consider it IM.

I've had a few larger ones since but the reason that meant so much to me is in '15 I did $37,587 in TOTAL sales. To beat that in one project was the world to me.

2 years ago I made over $100K+ in 1 month from scratch . At the time I didn't have any start up money and also I was $10K+ in dept.

So, how did I do it?

2 years ago I saw a post about teespring here. At first I didn't believe it, but I keep seeing the post everyday. So, I decided to give it a try.

I registered to teespring, created a simple campaign and launched a facebook ad. The result was very bad. I didn't sell anything.

Same day I created another tshirt campaign and facebook ad. But still no luck. I keep loosing money from my credit card.

Next day I created another campaign and sold 15+ tshirts. This was great but event better I saw an opportunity. I created different tshirt campaign and an ad campaign on facebook.

With that campaign I made $25K+ in 1 week. Actually I could make more but like I said at the time I didn't have any money and I used all my credit card limits.

So, I had to wait for 2 weeks to teespring to send my earnings, pay my credit cards and start the same campaign again. (I could borrow but it was too risky for me. I didn't know if I could get my earnings without having any issues)

Anyways, teespring paid my earnings and I created same campaign with different facebook ads. And I made over $80K in 1 week from that campaign. I believe it's still the most profitable campaign on teespring.

After that I made small profits from different campaigns but somehow I stopped to using teespring. I believe teespring was 1-2 months journey for me.

I guess at the time I was lucky to find the right campaign and right audience to promote on facebook.

So, this was my biggest win been online so far : )

How much money did you guys invest before making your $1 K ?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[10893185].message }}

Money? Not that much. It's the idea that counts + the time that you invest. The most important is to have the clear picture in your mind of what you want to accomplish. Today you have tons of free resources that you can use to nail $1K in a month (or less), but what matters more is not to get stuck on writing hundreds of pages of plans and not acting (like I used to do). Write a damn good one page plan and crush it right away - give it 1 month - 3 months - 6 months (depending on the complexity of the project) - and measure your progress. If you start making money, do more of what brings you money. If you fail, get the idea behind the barn and shoot it. NEXT! And you keep trying until it works. It will! My biggest win so far has been helping some one else get to 400$ profit per day in 2 months with no outlay (apart from paying for my time)

My personal biggest money win was 18k in a day, this was March 2013.

My biggest non-money win is living the dream of doing what I want when I want :-)

      Hee hee, jk that's awesome.

Yeah having a good way to structure funnels is definitely helpful.

My biggest win online has come from eBay. It's not the easiest thing to do, but I've managed to make a good profit.

I resell sneakers (not Jordans) and end up getting at least $100 profit for each pair of shoes. It's definitely not a quick turn around - I don't buy a pair of shoes then quickly sell them (I normally wait a few months for demand to go up).

Like I said, I've made some decent money but it's not something I want to do forever. The online sneaker buying community is only getting more saturated.

My biggest daily record win so far was around $11,000 gross, $5,000 profit. Did that per day for about 6 months straight.

It was with affiliate marketing promoting a single product in the weight loss niche. I ended up spending over $1,000,000 in advertising costs alone that year. It's crazy to look back at it now... I was only 19 years old when I did that.

Pretty unreal to look back it now and realize just how much money I was in control of at such a young age. I'm just happy I didn't go out and blow it all like a lot of other people I've known in this industry over the years...

Biggest win? Getting over 13million visitors in just over a week to my site, and making 5 figures that same week. My website hit one of the top rank in the world, albeit very briefly! Now here's the rub - I was just about to give up on the whole "making money money online" thing not a few days before... which just goes to prove, work hard and NEVER give up your dream!

Im currently looking for new ways of monetizing my skills, Ive been reading a lot about people who make a lot of money with websites and adsense, you know, that kind of things, any experience you can give me on that will be appreciated.

and you do not need one. I once made $32000 USD with a list of 900 people.

But not here to show off, here to tell you, you need a list. And the better relationship you have with them. The more $$$ you will make.

People think you need a list of about 900,000 names and email addresses, No you need high quality subsribers, and when you get over 500 - 3000 that is all you need to start seeing some very good results.

I think once you get over 600 or so, on a list you start seeing HUGE results. WHich goes exponential as your fresh leads take over too. This is how the big guys do it.

But the more leads, and the fresher the leads the better results you will get.

Phil - thanks for this awesome thread and for stepping out to tell about your own experience first. And I'll share mine as well. I'm a pretty humble guy and don't advertise my successes a lot, but I've cleared nearly $200k in a 9-month period (2 years ago). And I make 6-figures a year, and have for the past 3-4 years. More on that in a bit.

Reading through a lot of the responses I see a lot of my own past experiences and "lessons learned" echoed by everyone else.

I know in your initial post you're not the over-excited newbie wetting his pants thinking he's hit jackpot, but at the same time you're not discrediting yourself either - and you shouldn't, I certainly don't. And don't let anyone else.

$100 isn't the only thing you've gained. You've gained experience. And you can't buy experience with money.

(I haven't done WSO, so you have experience I don't have. Maybe we should do something together? Hit me if you're interested.)

Everyone on this thread has done the single thing that most people don't do. The one thing that stands between you and success:

    YOU DID SOMETHING.

So for everyone here who had the guts to try something, I stand and congratulate you. That's what separates you from 99% of all the rest of the Internet Marketers.

Everyone buys courses. Everyone watches videos. Everyone reads emails.

Hardly anyone actually steps out there and really does something.

I've thought about starting a coaching service where all I do is tell people "Don't buy one more course or 'amazing tool that will make you insanely rich' - instead get off your duff and get something done!"

Why don't we do something? Because of fear.

And no matter how much money I make, no matter how sure I am of my product, or my launch, I still have that one catch in my gut right before I "launch" where I'm scared all over again.

On that $200k venture I mentioned, I actually collected $45k in credit card transactions and sat on them for 2 weeks. I was too scared to actually send them through.

That's right, people gave me their cards in full faith that they were going to be charged, they were actually using my product, but I just didn't run the cards. I was too scared. I knew once I ran the cards, I was committed.

    And that commitment is scary.

And the crazy thing is, it was a monthly subscription, and when I finally did run them I was supposed to wait only 4 weeks to hit them again - right? What do you think I did?

If you said "you didn't run them" - you'd be right! I sat on the 2nd set of charges for another 2 weeks.

Basically everyone got a month free from me. And all the while I was sitting on the recharges, new people were signing up and the system was automatically charging their cards.

There's another fear other than commitment too, it's "what if I fail?" With commitment you have "now I have to do what I said I would do. If someone buys my product and I fail, I still have to live up to what I said they were buying"

With "what if I fail?" We're more afraid of "I want to make a lot, but what if I only make a little?" And we'd be too embarrassed to admit the "big" launch was more like a little fizzle.

For the first fear of commitment - you just have to lean in. You may need a coach (call me) or a swift kick in the rear (yeah, you can call me for that too) to just make you get out there and do it - but commit yourself to do whatever it takes to do something, anything.

For the second fear, the one of having a "big fizzle" (sounds like a soft drink, eh?), I have a couple recommendations, and you can read them for yourself in what others said:

Steve B - celebrate every single step. Your first $10, your first $100, your first $1,000.

PeggyRick - way to go with the first subscriber! You did it!

Don't pass those moments up! Celebrate every step! Each step further separates you from failure.

"I just made my first $10, what should I do?" - my answer - go buy a $50 meal and enjoy every bite!

"I just made my first $100, what should I do?" - buy a $30 book (physical) on the next step of growing your business and invite a friend out to dinner with the rest. Want book advice? Call me.

"I just got my first subscriber to my membership site, what should I do?" (PeggyRick) - send them an email, give them your personal cell #, ask them to call. Find out what they like and what you can improve. Tell them you're there to make sure they succeed. Set them on fire.

Then email the rest of your list with their advice to you - show what others are saying about you both good, and the bad and that you're there for them and will do your part to help them succeed.

It will set your list on fire.

Another recommendation on combating the "big fizzle" fear is always under-predict. On my first launch I made ~$45k. My partner (who knew more about the market I was getting in than I did) kept telling me I'd make $100k in a few months, with no end in site of the cash pouring in.

The product was a monthly membership service, and I just predicted I'd have 5 new signups a day (paying $10 or $15 a month I think, it's been so long I honestly can't remember).

My average was around 7, and it steadily increased until the market changed and the service wasn't needed any more.

Some days I had 20+ signups and the very next day I'd have 0. That's just the way it was. My partner was projecting 100s per day, I stayed conservative with 5, even as it increased.

By going conservative, you keep yourself from getting all excited for a let-down. If it's more bust than bang when you launch and you were all emotionally built up, the let-down will crush you.

Stay super conservative, if it does better than you thought, keep your estimates conservative, don't let the market pull your expectations up. Just bank the extra money, scale your business to handle the growth, but don't start counting on all the income. Trust me, if the market changes and you were conservative the whole time, you take it much better.

And the market will change. Don't fool yourself. And don't let anyone else fool you. The market will change and if you didn't diversify or change before the market does, your income will dry up.

OK, so to my biggest win. That same buddy of mine that told me we'd have 100s of new members every day on my first launch talked me into another business about a year after the market changed. I'm a systems guy, I build back-end stuff. I code (really well), I design (not so well), and build IT infrastructure (really well).

So I thought of another service and launched it. It took me about 4 months to write the code and get it all stood up and working. I even launched, took money, etc, without having all the features released. - That happened because my buddy told everyone it would be ready before I knew it would be ready. (lesson learned: control the message, always keep yourself as the "source" of information for your own business).

My friend also over-hyped the membership (most of them knew him and tuned into his webinars), because it was commission-based and he'd make more by building it up more.

I was able to keep that pretty much under control, but that was always a business risk I had to keep an eye on. I couldn't let him run too far out in front.

So, in 9 months I had pulled in around $200k. I hit some personal issues (my son got in a near fatal accident and I discovered my wife was cheating on me), so I consolidated things down and shut that membership down - it was just too many balls to juggle at once.

And I've taken the past couple years off. It's been nice. Since I'm writing a diary here, I'll add that I'm recently remarried (and loving it!) and literally today I'm going to go sign for our new house. Plan to move in at the end of the month.

Lesson: Even when things don't work well, you can still make it and rebuild even your entire life all over again.

And for the past 2 months I've been working on my next product. It's actually been running for 3 years already, but just not in a condition where others can easily use it, just a couple close friends and myself have access. Now I'm getting ready to release it.

Since I'm moving, the holidays are coming up, etc, I'm thinking I'll start marketing it in January (and yes, I'm feeling that "commitment" fear I mentioned above - it's just the way my gut works).

And I'm thinking about starting a coaching/branding service. I've mentored a number of marketers and think most people will find more success marketing themselves and building themselves as a brand first, and then introducing their product(s) to their following.

All of that being said - I'm here for you. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions, ideas, struggles, or just want to share your success and know you'll get a huge "congrats" back from me!

You seem pretty cool too. Takes a lot of guts to post anything but a "I made a million overnight" type of post. Lots of people let their egos get in the way of just being themselves and enjoying whatever that is at the moment. And they let their egos get in the way of looking for a mentor, or constructive criticism, etc.

You're going to go far. Stay just like you are, just keep learning, trying new things, and being honest.

Hey Richard, what's next for me is I'm creating a product I'm gonna release here on the Warrior Forum soon on how to use Facebook along with affiliate marketing.

It's some stuff I've learned from personal experience and I think it can help people that are struggling.

I'm shying away from focusing on affiliate marketing and am gonna be creating products more often because they'll be assets I can use in the future...how ever the heck I want lol.

Cool, I used to do a lot of facebook stuff. Ran private groups, wrote a tool that posted to timeline, etc. Integrated it with my membership website login (before they ever had plugins that made it so easy).

I really need to dive into FB ads. That's my next advertising venue, still working on the product, so not ready to dig into it just yet. (but plan on it by end of year)

That's what *no other marketer has* - your experience. And that's why even if you are selling the same service/training/whatever, you compete on the area of how your experience sets you apart.

Agree on creating your own products. That's always what I've done.

My current project - I never wanted to get into email delivery. It's such a pain. All the different delivery rules for each domain, different times of day, etc. I started into it back in 2008/2009, and quickly went away from it after building a small core of code that mail-merged and delivered my emails. Fast forward a couple years, I ran into some marketers that had HUGE lists and were having problems with aweber. I offered to solve the problem, especially since they would be emailing for my product.

So I started figuring out all the delivery tricks, why things like aweber/mailchimp/icontact/infusionsoft/<insert your emailer here>/etc failed.

"Failed" - well, they do have some delivery success, but bottom line, the way they deliver doesn't look like a legit website's email, and every deviation from an email that looks like from one person to another, causes it to not deliver, hit spam, be put in google tabs, etc.

And all of that impacts inbox delivery, which impacts open rate, which impacts click-through, which impacts ultimate campaign success.

Another thing that impacts delivery THAT NO ESP WILL EVER TELL YOU - BUT THEY WILL FOR SURE PENALIZE YOU FOR IT is that there are certain email addresses that are known "spam bait". If someone doesn't like you, they opt-in to your list using any of these email addresses, and presto you send an email to that address that tells everyone "I'm a spammer". And then your domain reputation goes down. And the ESP kicks you off without telling you why. And no one tells you it's because of any bogus email addresses on your list.

Anyway, so I worked on this system again starting in 2013. And since then it's been "carrying the mail" (pun intended). It's delivered 4.4M emails in the past 3 years. But only for a select few marketers I've worked with.

I've always wanted to come back and push this out as a product/service, but the biggest problem I had was while I'm great for running servers, writing back-end code, databases, etc, I royally suck at front end. For this system I took a month of nothing but dedicated time to cobble together a front end that allows you to edit emails, send them, see stats, and do bare minimum maintenance on your list. It really sucked. And every time I'd go back to add another page, or more functionality, it would take like 2 weeks to re-learn what I had done. It was horrible. None of my other code is like that, only having to work with the front end. (Javascript is a *******ization of the C/C++/Java/PHP language genre, and I always had to do weird workarounds to get "normal" things to work).

Well, fast forward to about 2 months ago. I asked some of my dev buddies how I could solve the problem. I actually told them I'd pay them to write the front end. They told me it was too easy and wouldn't take my money. Instead they told me to look into AngularJS. So a book and 2 weeks later I had the main page written in Angular. And it's so much easier. Still Javascript, but they did a great job of separating view, model, and controller, and now the code I write actually still makes sense to me. ;-D

Now I've just about finished rewriting the entire front end, including a lot of cool new features that I've always wanted it to have.

            So....

My "next" project is along these lines:

            1. Looking for some marketers that want to use a cutting-edge email tool that will give them crazy inbox delivery. Including measuring everything (delivery, opens, clicks, all the way to tracking purchases against emails, analysis for sales funnel improvements, etc)

            2. I'll take their feedback to make the product better.

            3. I'll have weekly live webcasts where I train on email delivery, what works, what doesn't work, why all the big boys are killing your delivery while taking your money, and what to do about it. I'll also answer all questions, etc. - I'm thinking that will be for members only, still debating it, maybe free. don't know.

            4. And then get back to my main forte - personal branding. How to market "you" and sell yourself to others, build your following... (if you're making your own products, this is where you're heading, btw).

            5. And all the while I think I'll train on "how to launch a product or service with the minimal amount of work needed to achieve market-fit". I'm an IT-systems and software engineer by training/experience, been schooled in lean six sigma, etc, and apply "lean startup" type principles to all my work. It's really the best way to work the least, deliver the most, and know in the shortest time possible that the product you're working on is really what they want.

Other than that, I'm not doing much... ;-D

So with your product development, if you want, I could help you think through how to figure out what's going to sell, and what you should be focused on (by learning how to find out what the market really wants).

I'm here to help, so you (Phil) and anyone reading this, feel free to hit me up - want some free consulting? Let me know.

                  actually wrong questions to ask.

You have a list? If you want to succeed online you will need one.

how often to email? well i know 2 millionaires, who use email marketing to make big money, and they email every day. MON - FRIDAY, normally they can miss a day here or there, but its normally 1 time per day. OR 4 times a week.

which provider? Stick to the ones big marketers use. Free 30 day trial. AWEBER dot Com. .... there is another one SEND VIPER I am trialing right now. As I have 400,000 emails in that database.

                    How so?

I've been running my own delivery system for 3 years. The marketers that I let use it say it gets better inbox delivery than everything they've ever used, and they moved off of aweber to mine because of low delivery.

So my questions are for me to understand what others use and what their usage is. And it seems like the questions I asked get that exact information.

Maybe you meant "actually wrong questions to ask if you want to find out something else." - in which case I would agree with you.

I agree. One of my clients has made a million several times with different products, and he emails 5-6 times a week.

Aweber ends up in gmail's "promotions". But that's not the worst thing.

The worst thing is aweber doesn't get back from gmail the exact email address which complains about spam.

Why is that important? Imagine this scenario:

Each ESP (like gmail) sprinkle fake emails addresses out on the Internet in order to catch scrapers. (Scrapers send email to those addresses and immediately the ESP knows all the email coming from that domain is spam, so it kills their domain reputation and they get blocked across the board.)

Someone doesn't like you, so they stuff your opt-in with those email addresses. In gmail's case they hit your domain reputation and may send you bounce/spam reports, but since you don't know the email address, you can't unsubscribe the address even if you wanted to.

Presto. You're not delivering email any more.

Even if no one stuffs your opt-in w/ those flagged email addresses, this problem will surface from anyone who clicks "spam" on any of your emails. Gmail penalizes you, and then continues to penalize you with ever email that you send to that address from that point forward - but since you're not notified as to which email address that is, you keep emailing them.

At best, gmail will continue to receive your email, sticking it in the promotions tab - you can only hope they do and that all your audience reads the promotions tab, but you'll soon find that no one does. At best you've lost the largest portion of your email list to non-delivery.

Worst case, gmail shops your "spamming" around it's circles and your delivery stops across the board to all domains, not just gmail.

Aweber has no way to remediate this problem.

As matter of fact, I don't know of any "marketer email platforms" like aweber that remediate this problem - and it's because the way gmail has it's FBL setup. They did it intentionally.

So anyone serious about email (like you saying if you want to succeed online you'll have a list) would try to solve this problem, and it can't be done through aweber or any of it's siblings.

My list is not big man, it's pretty small tbh.

Especially after I got rid of people that aren't really even contributing.

I've relied on my Facebook group in the past and that's something I'm changing.

That's why I've decided to move onto product creation, that should help bulk it up with
                  some more people lol.

                  I do email often.

Every day if I can, that's my preference.

They're not all promotional emails, some are content-based, personal,
and every once in a while promotional.

Right now I'm using Get Response.

Cleaning off the non-responders is a must. A small list isn't a bad thing. A clean responsive list, no matter what the size, is best. And your formula looks good (below).

Yeah, I used to be heavy into facebook. For me though, it always came back to me getting their email address. And that's the crux of all social marketing. In the end all social marketers end up getting email addresses to send them email.

And facebook only works for certain demographics. Not every market segment likes to live on facebook. But you always go to where your market is, and if that's where they hang out, then that's where you market to them.

And that's the right formula. Give them value, stay personal. They see you as a real person, and they grow to like you, in the mean time you're giving them free info that helps them directly - they'll trust you. Then when you ask them what problems the face and turn around with a solution to that problem, they'll buy it from you.

                    It's all about providing value.

this has been the greatest read of my life, i used to sell music promotion through FB messenger, made like $600 in 6 months but could never figure out the marketing and how to automate it. Fast forward to a week ago i took Tai Lopez'z 67 steps course and he said go to bed a little bit wiser each day, so i took his advice and read just 1 page in Dotcom Secrets by Russel Brunson. Everything literally clicked and i totally and completely understood marketing and internet marketing. my main takeaway was traffic & conversion. Since then i've had huge "wins" getting shit tons of free traffic to my site, 2 leads, it's all on autopilot. all i do is make some facebook posts, traffic floods to my site, then converts. Still perfecting the conversions. but taking the advice here of loving those small wins, i literally feel unstoppable. i plan on making business after business and building a huge following on IG probably. i also realize that this shit takes work and time and effort. im just so happy i cant explain it

Just joined this forum and came across this motivating post

Well for me the biggest was recently in June-July when I made nearly $30,000 in just 20 days. That was freakin' cool for me.

Apart from that I often do event blogging which fetches me upto 5000$ on event day. Its a wonderful way of income. (I want to attach screenshots of it but its not allowing me to post imgur link, how can I post image in this forum ?)

And then I did some good with my brand site where I posted an article last week that made me 300$+ . It was a smooth deal as well.

A name in the industry is what helps me a lot.

Moreover just to let you know that I never invested more than 5$ on a single link. Its all smart work that wins in the end. So if you are in thoughts of spending money first, then do think again. You can achieve the same without putting in the money.

PS: I am new here and open to help anyone with any queries..

There's people out there (I used to be one of them) that haven't made sh*t with
Adsense DESPITE setting up everything to make a dollar with it.

Hey here's a tip on how to make your first dollar with product creation if you haven't yet
      1. Make a quick PDF of what you did to get that first $1
      2. Make a Power Point video of that PDF
      3. Set this product up as a WSO, Warrior Plus or Jv Zoo (where people can pay you!).
      4. Go on Facebook and make a post on your wall, FB group or FB Fan Page
targeting people that are interested in Adsense
      5. It can read**Wanna Make Your First $1 With Adsense?**
      6. Tell them to comment "Adsense ROCKS" in the comments below and say hi
to the people that respond, be cordial and THEN show them your
opportunity (don't just drop a link without giving a shit, friend them if they're not already your friend).
      7. Charge $3.99 for your PDF
      8. Charge $2.99 for the video, audio (you can rip the audio from the video), and Power Point Slides upsell
How easy is it for people to buy your PDF and your upsell?

      Just a thought lol.

I think I may do this today myself lol.

      Have a great one!

Hey michdubs, what defines success for you?

I ask because I'm not saying that you have to have made a million bucks or even
      your first dollar online.

It doesn't have to be monetary.

What's been your biggest breakthrough with whatever you're doing online so far?

I started my digital marketing agency in 1999. I've been self-employed ever since.

I now own a building because of it. And now I'm starting to focus on a charity I've begun that helps the homeless.

That is all because of my digital marketing agency.

That said, knowing what I know today, I probably wouldn't start a digital marketing agency in 2016. It's over saturated and everybody swears they do what you do.

Instead, I'd find a business that likely would do well using digital marketing techniques. As an example, I also own an auction house. I'm a licensed auctioneer. I like that space because there is a big audience for it and the competition is pretty weak when it comes to digital marketing.

    Other possibilities might be:
    • Roofing
    • House Painting
    • Plumbing
    • BYOB Night Club
    • Video Game Developer

I might also add that I'm spinning off a small business division of my digital marketing agency. Startups and small businesses really excite me. But again, that's all because I've got that one traditional agency rolling. I can screw around with this other stuff now.
