What has your biggest win been online so far?

I finally started to make money online only recently. After years of struggle and hard work, success seems to be finally rolling in. I create android apps these days and this month I have done no work at all (due to some family issues) but have crossed $350 and hope to reach around $450 by the end of the month.
To me, making money without doing any kind of work, no marketing is the biggest win of my IM career.

$350 might not be much but considering I didn't spent even a single minute on apps, I feel very happy to share it.

Realizing I can accomplish anything I put my Mind to. Literally doing things now that 5 and 6 years ago that I didn't think I had a snowball of a chance in doing

I've been in the online industry for 3 years now Here are my unforgettable moments - my first $839 from my mailing lists without spending any money on advertising and this month, I already set up my membership site and earned my first $49 from my brand new website.

I am hoping to have one very soon. In the process of populating my leads database. I am shifting to getting leads from individuals, not companies. Where/ who do I go to to get a list of B2B tech industry individuals for a startup?

My biggest win is the when i get my first sale on a clickbank product after year2 of struggling

I would say making the first buck was cool, but my favorite moment was when I wrote an article on SEO copywriting that generated 1k views and social shares as my first blog on a new website. I think I finally knew at that moment, I was NOT completely full of bullshit. I won't link to it because this is literally my first post here on the Warrior Forum, glad to be here!

Since I started doing IM, I've changed careers repeatedly and gone broke multiple times, but I really wanted to make my business a lifestyle and find success. I started selling web content to small and medium-sized businesses, marketing my services entirely online.

My biggest win was probably the biggest contract that I got for my services as a writer - 2000 words for $250 USD. I was really happy that someone would pay this much for my services. The contract has also been renewed multiple times which is a fantastic thing for my business.

I live in Canada and because our dollar is very cheap right now, it's highly beneficial for me to get paid in US dollars. If you keep working hard and improving yourself, good things are always around the corner for you.

No one loses in this business until they stop trying.

So take every positive step you make in IM as a big "win."

When you finally get a web site up and running, that's a win.
When you get your first actual interested subscriber on your list, that's a win.
When you publish your first offer or affiliate link, that's a win.
When you make your first dollar, that's a win.
When you make more in a month than you spend, that's a win.
When you have a $25 dollar day, then a $100 dollar day, then a $1,000 day . . .
When you no longer have money concerns, that's a win.

@sachin5120 - A person is never defeated unless they accept defeat in their mind.

With all that said, if someone has been trying for 2 years and not yet made a sale, it's time to stop the insanity and approach things differently.

Some people get 'persistence' and 'not quitting' confused with madness. It does not make sense to keep doing the same thing over and over when it is not yielding results for you.

You have to try a different approach or get a coach to help identify where you are going wrong.

104 weeks with no results is insane.

Keep going though (just don't keep doing the same thing hoping for a different result).

My biggest "win" would be when I closed my first $38,000 web dev project. My margins are 50-60%. I got the client via a sales funnel so I consider it IM.

I've had a few larger ones since but the reason that meant so much to me is in '15 I did $37,587 in TOTAL sales. To beat that in one project was the world to me.

2 years ago I made over $100K+ in 1 month from scratch . At the time I didn't have any start up money and also I was $10K+ in dept.

So, how did I do it?

2 years ago I saw a post about teespring here. At first I didn't believe it, but I keep seeing the post everyday. So, I decided to give it a try.

I registered to teespring, created a simple campaign and launched a facebook ad. The result was very bad. I didn't sell anything.

Same day I created another tshirt campaign and facebook ad. But still no luck. I keep loosing money from my credit card.

Next day I created another campaign and sold 15+ tshirts. This was great but event better I saw an opportunity. I created different tshirt campaign and an ad campaign on facebook.

With that campaign I made $25K+ in 1 week. Actually I could make more but like I said at the time I didn't have any money and I used all my credit card limits.

So, I had to wait for 2 weeks to teespring to send my earnings, pay my credit cards and start the same campaign again. (I could borrow but it was too risky for me. I didn't know if I could get my earnings without having any issues)

Anyways, teespring paid my earnings and I created same campaign with different facebook ads. And I made over $80K in 1 week from that campaign. I believe it's still the most profitable campaign on teespring.

After that I made small profits from different campaigns but somehow I stopped to using teespring. I believe teespring was 1-2 months journey for me.

I guess at the time I was lucky to find the right campaign and right audience to promote on facebook.

So, this was my biggest win been online so far : )

How much money did you guys invest before making your $1 K ?

My biggest win so far has been helping some one else get to 400$ profit per day in 2 months with no outlay (apart from paying for my time)

My personal biggest money win was 18k in a day, this was March 2013.

My biggest non-money win is living the dream of doing what I want when I want :-)

The understanding of what I am doing and being able to create funnels that makes me commmissions with anything I want!

My biggest win online has come from eBay. It's not the easiest thing to do, but I've managed to make a good profit.

I resell sneakers (not Jordans) and end up getting at least $100 profit for each pair of shoes. It's definitely not a quick turn around - I don't buy a pair of shoes then quickly sell them (I normally wait a few months for demand to go up).

Like I said, I've made some decent money but it's not something I want to do forever. The online sneaker buying community is only getting more saturated.

My biggest daily record win so far was around $11,000 gross, $5,000 profit. Did that per day for about 6 months straight.

It was with affiliate marketing promoting a single product in the weight loss niche. I ended up spending over $1,000,000 in advertising costs alone that year. It's crazy to look back at it now... I was only 19 years old when I did that.

Pretty unreal to look back it now and realize just how much money I was in control of at such a young age. I'm just happy I didn't go out and blow it all like a lot of other people I've known in this industry over the years...

Biggest win? Getting over 13million visitors in just over a week to my site, and making 5 figures that same week. My website hit one of the top rank in the world, albeit very briefly! Now here's the rub - I was just about to give up on the whole "making money money online" thing not a few days before... which just goes to prove, work hard and NEVER give up your dream!

My biggest win as a Freelancer were 1500 USD on my best month, It doesnt sounds like a lot of money, but it is here, where the exchange rate with the Argentinan peso transform those dollars in a considerable ammount of money.

Im currently looking for new ways of monetizing my skills, Ive been reading a lot about people who make a lot of money with websites and adsense, you know, that kind of things, any experience you can give me on that will be appreciated.

and you do not need one. I once made $32000 USD with a list of 900 people.

But not here to show off, here to tell you, you need a list. And the better relationship you have with them. The more $$$ you will make.

People think you need a list of about 900,000 names and email addresses, No you need high quality subsribers, and when you get over 500 - 3000 that is all you need to start seeing some very good results.

I think once you get over 600 or so, on a list you start seeing HUGE results. WHich goes exponential as your fresh leads take over too. This is how the big guys do it.

But the more leads, and the fresher the leads the better results you will get.

Phil - thanks for this awesome thread and for stepping out to tell about your own experience first. And I'll share mine as well. I'm a pretty humble guy and don't advertise my successes a lot, but I've cleared nearly $200k in a 9-month period (2 years ago). And I make 6-figures a year, and have for the past 3-4 years. More on that in a bit.

Reading through a lot of the responses I see a lot of my own past experiences and "lessons learned" echoed by everyone else.

I know in your initial post you're not the over-excited newbie wetting his pants thinking he's hit jackpot, but at the same time you're not discrediting yourself either - and you shouldn't, I certainly don't. And don't let anyone else.

$100 isn't the only thing you've gained. You've gained experience. And you can't buy experience with money.

Everyone on this thread has done the single thing that most people don't do. The one thing that stands between you and success:

YOU DID SOMETHING.

So for everyone here who had the guts to try something, I stand and congratulate you. That's what separates you from 99% of all the rest of the Internet Marketers.

Everyone buys courses. Everyone watches videos. Everyone reads emails.

Hardly anyone actually steps out there and really does something.

I've thought about starting a coaching service where all I do is tell people "Don't buy one more course or 'amazing tool that will make you insanely rich' - instead get off your duff and get something done!"

Why don't we do something? Because of fear.

And no matter how much money I make, no matter how sure I am of my product, or my launch, I still have that one catch in my gut right before I "launch" where I'm scared all over again.

On that $200k venture I mentioned, I actually collected $45k in credit card transactions and sat on them for 2 weeks. I was too scared to actually send them through.

That's right, people gave me their cards in full faith that they were going to be charged, they were actually using my product, but I just didn't run the cards. I was too scared. I knew once I ran the cards, I was committed.

And that commitment is scary.

And the crazy thing is, it was a monthly subscription, and when I finally did run them I was supposed to wait only 4 weeks to hit them again - right? What do you think I did?

If you said "you didn't run them" - you'd be right! I sat on the 2nd set of charges for another 2 weeks.

Basically everyone got a month free from me. And all the while I was sitting on the recharges, new people were signing up and the system was automatically charging their cards.

There's another fear other than commitment too, it's "what if I fail?" With commitment you have "now I have to do what I said I would do. If someone buys my product and I fail, I still have to live up to what I said they were buying"

With "what if I fail?" We're more afraid of "I want to make a lot, but what if I only make a little?" And we'd be too embarrassed to admit the "big" launch was more like a little fizzle.

For the first fear of commitment - you just have to lean in. You may need a coach (call me) or a swift kick in the rear (yeah, you can call me for that too) to just make you get out there and do it - but commit yourself to do whatever it takes to do something, anything.

For the second fear, the one of having a "big fizzle" (sounds like a soft drink, eh?), I have a couple recommendations, and you can read them for yourself in what others said:

Steve B - celebrate every single step. Your first $10, your first $100, your first $1,000.

PeggyRick - way to go with the first subscriber! You did it!

Don't pass those moments up! Celebrate every step! Each step further separates you from failure.

"I just made my first $10, what should I do?" - my answer - go buy a $50 meal and enjoy every bite!

"I just made my first $100, what should I do?" - buy a $30 book (physical) on the next step of growing your business and invite a friend out to dinner with the rest. Want book advice? Call me.

"I just got my first subscriber to my membership site, what should I do?" (PeggyRick) - send them an email, give them your personal cell #, ask them to call. Find out what they like and what you can improve. Tell them you're there to make sure they succeed. Set them on fire.

Then email the rest of your list with their advice to you - show what others are saying about you both good, and the bad and that you're there for them and will do your part to help them succeed.

It will set your list on fire.

Another recommendation on combating the "big fizzle" fear is always under-predict. On my first launch I made ~$45k. My partner (who knew more about the market I was getting in than I did) kept telling me I'd make $100k in a few months, with no end in site of the cash pouring in.

The product was a monthly membership service, and I just predicted I'd have 5 new signups a day (paying $10 or $15 a month I think, it's been so long I honestly can't remember).

My average was around 7, and it steadily increased until the market changed and the service wasn't needed any more.

Some days I had 20+ signups and the very next day I'd have 0. That's just the way it was. My partner was projecting 100s per day, I stayed conservative with 5, even as it increased.

By going conservative, you keep yourself from getting all excited for a let-down. If it's more bust than bang when you launch and you were all emotionally built up, the let-down will crush you.

Stay super conservative, if it does better than you thought, keep your estimates conservative, don't let the market pull your expectations up. Just bank the extra money, scale your business to handle the growth, but don't start counting on all the income. Trust me, if the market changes and you were conservative the whole time, you take it much better.

And the market will change. Don't fool yourself. And don't let anyone else fool you. The market will change and if you didn't diversify or change before the market does, your income will dry up.

OK, so to my biggest win. That same buddy of mine that told me we'd have 100s of new members every day on my first launch talked me into another business about a year after the market changed. I'm a systems guy, I build back-end stuff. I code (really well), I design (not so well), and build IT infrastructure (really well).

So I thought of another service and launched it. It took me about 4 months to write the code and get it all stood up and working. I even launched, took money, etc, without having all the features released. - That happened because my buddy told everyone it would be ready before I knew it would be ready. (lesson learned: control the message, always keep yourself as the "source" of information for your own business).

My friend also over-hyped the membership (most of them knew him and tuned into his webinars), because it was commission-based and he'd make more by building it up more.

I was able to keep that pretty much under control, but that was always a business risk I had to keep an eye on. I couldn't let him run too far out in front.

So, in 9 months I had pulled in around $200k. I hit some personal issues (my son got in a near fatal accident and I discovered my wife was cheating on me), so I consolidated things down and shut that membership down - it was just too many balls to juggle at once.

And I've taken the past couple years off. It's been nice. Since I'm writing a diary here, I'll add that I'm recently remarried (and loving it!) and literally today I'm going to go sign for our new house. Plan to move in at the end of the month.

Lesson: Even when things don't work well, you can still make it and rebuild even your entire life all over again.

And for the past 2 months I've been working on my next product. It's actually been running for 3 years already, but just not in a condition where others can easily use it, just a couple close friends and myself have access. Now I'm getting ready to release it.

Since I'm moving, the holidays are coming up, etc, I'm thinking I'll start marketing it in January (and yes, I'm feeling that "commitment" fear I mentioned above - it's just the way my gut works).

And I'm thinking about starting a coaching/branding service. I've mentored a number of marketers and think most people will find more success marketing themselves and building themselves as a brand first, and then introducing their product(s) to their following.

this has been the greatest read of my life, i used to sell music promotion through FB messenger, made like $600 in 6 months but could never figure out the marketing and how to automate it. Fast forward to a week ago i took Tai Lopez'z 67 steps course and he said go to bed a little bit wiser each day, so i took his advice and read just 1 page in Dotcom Secrets by Russel Brunson. Everything literally clicked and i totally and completely understood marketing and internet marketing. my main takeaway was traffic & conversion. Since then i've had huge "wins" getting shit tons of free traffic to my site, 2 leads, it's all on autopilot. all i do is make some facebook posts, traffic floods to my site, then converts. Still perfecting the conversions. but taking the advice here of loving those small wins, i literally feel unstoppable. i plan on making business after business and building a huge following on IG probably. i also realize that this shit takes work and time and effort. im just so happy i cant explain it

Well for me the biggest was recently in June-July when I made nearly $30,000 in just 20 days. That was freakin' cool for me.

Apart from that I often do event blogging which fetches me upto 5000$ on event day. Its a wonderful way of income. (I want to attach screenshots of it but its not allowing me to post imgur link, how can I post image in this forum ?)

And then I did some good with my brand site where I posted an article last week that made me 300$+ . It was a smooth deal as well.

A name in the industry is what helps me a lot.

Moreover just to let you know that I never invested more than 5$ on a single link. Its all smart work that wins in the end. So if you are in thoughts of spending money first, then do think again. You can achieve the same without putting in the money.

I started my digital marketing agency in 1999. I've been self-employed ever since.

I now own a building because of it. And now I'm starting to focus on a charity I've begun that helps the homeless.

That is all because of my digital marketing agency.

That said, knowing what I know today, I probably wouldn't start a digital marketing agency in 2016. It's over saturated and everybody swears they do what you do.

Instead, I'd find a business that likely would do well using digital marketing techniques. As an example, I also own an auction house. I'm a licensed auctioneer. I like that space because there is a big audience for it and the competition is pretty weak when it comes to digital marketing.

Other possibilities might be:

• Roofing
• House Painting
• Plumbing
• BYOB Night Club
• Video Game Developer

I might also add that I'm spinning off a small business division of my digital marketing agency. Startups and small businesses really excite me. But again, that's all because I've got that one traditional agency rolling. I can screw around with this other stuff now.
