How much traffic do you get from search vs. social?

Of course the search traffic will give you a greater return, as people are themselves looking for your offer, but it requires more time for its production. The conversion will be much higher

I just listened to a podcast from ProBlogger where he said search (SEO) is still very important and underutilized.

Social traffic is still good - but some people waste to much time on social media sites hoping for that one post to go viral.

When a social post goes viral, it's just one massive spike in traffic. Compared to search, which is more consistent.

I agree with you. Social media marketing is hard and isn't easy to do a viral content, but when you do is just one piece of content and it will be a spike for a while, then it will be dead for sure.

If you can compete for decent keywords, you can get a consistent amount of traffic each month, viral or not .... but to be there, there is a lot of hard work behind.

Organic traffic(search) will be best as it has good conversion rate than social traffic.But getting organic traffic is not easy now a days.Thats y we go for multiple ways of traffic like videos,social media.

by far on the front end is the serps! Social media really is not buyer traffic till you warm it up. Search traffic your putting your offer in front of them at the exact moment they are looking for it! How do you beat that?

Of course Search traffic will help you to engender revenue as compared to the Social Traffic. Social traffic just used for labelling of your product, it will not add any substantial value in terms of revenue to your business.

Social traffic traffic brings more traffic but they are not well targeted and most are not really interested in your offer. Search traffic is the best and have a high conversion rate. You can't go wrong with search traffic that is why it is important to put efforts in your website SEO

Also, it's good to note that it really depends on social traffic. If you keep it super targeted and within your niche, you can have a decent turn around. It is faster, but it's a lot more unpredictable.

Search traffic does have a higher conversion rate, yes. This is because it's way more targeted but keep in mind it takes a lot longer time unless you have a huge budget to spend. hope this helps.

Its always the Search Engine traffic that matters which is organic and always targeted. Social Media is already saturated
