Why can't you make money online? YES you....

Its not Just people NOT making any efforts

there are people who tried and tried and failed.. and their failures made them bitter and skeptical...

Though the majority is people who will read and say " yes i will do this , maybe tomorrow or after few days " and then totally forget the whole thing when they see something new

But there are also people who tried lots of these methods and gave up as they couldnt get any results

maybe they did something not quite right

I think these 2 are major culprits for those people who tried and failed and couldnt invest anymore ?

There are many people making a very good living off the web, but it does some work. Make sure you are selling into demand, a lot of would be online businesses forget this.

All of your points are valid but the two below is what I see a lot form my subscribers are...

#1 - Not willing to an idea or project a fair shot. I see some many people start a project, campaign, etc and quit before they even know if it will work.

#2 - Trying to search for the silver bullet when they already have it in their hands - I see some many people find a way to make money online but move on to the next shiny object because they want to make more money. If you find a way to make money online, then instead of trying to find a new way...figure out away to scale the method you are using to make even more money. We all know the saying..."A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush'.

In my opinion, new internet marketers have two major obstacles to overcome...

First, they often times have expectations that don't align with reality. They think making money is easy, or that it doesn't take much/any time, or that results will come immediately.

Second, they don't have a plan or enough focus to stick to something. This relates to the first point. If they think the money is easy, or they'll immediately see results... They get frustrated or discouraged when the results aren't there. Then they bounce around from shiny object to shiny object.

The ones who make it are the ones with realistic expectations, a plan, and focus. That said, being a business owner isn't for everyone... You need to have some intangibles and business sense to make good decisions.

There are a lot of ways to make money online... And every one of them requires hard work (or a lot of money so you can outsource all of the hard work).

I think the question is not really can you make money online. The answer is definitely yes. In freelancing ANYONE can make money online. The question is can you make BIG MONEY ONLINE?

If you are not creating products (kindle books, courses and etc.) or want to sell via affiliate marketing or dropshipping, I think the proven way to make money online is to help brick-or-mortar business and professional services make money or acquire customers.

I have just read a post this week about a forum member making real good money for creating marketing funnels/systems for his clients. I have read about this idea too, a decade ago from a marketing seminar. It's a traditional way of making money anywhere----helping others make money or get customers!

TONS of people in the marketing world absolutely LOVE jumping to this conclusion. It never ceases to amaze me how many people here in the WF and also Marketing Checkpoint forum have their starting label for most programs and ad sites as a scam.

If someone who's already making money would be really honest and tell a newbie the exact thing that he's doing to make money - that newbie would start making money in no time! It's reality though that nobody will share the truth that makes money so easily!

Simple words but pure reality, things are not going to fall from the sky, still everything is achievable, is all up to you.

If not you, then who?
If not now, then when?

Exactly.

JUST DO IT.

People need to focus and stop jumping from one program to the next shinny object. The key is to be persitant and results will follow.

It's true many don't make big money online because few are willing to work consistently and have the courage to continually learn from their mistakes.

Many quit sooner because they are also overwhelmed, so my tip for newbies is to not to expect yourself to learn what you need to know in a week or several months. Commit to learning how to run an online business for at least a year. You can't say you tried hard enough if you didn't even gave it a chance for a year.

I more than agree that the only way to succeed online is to take action and focus on one method until it is working and not jump from one shiny thing to the next.

With that being said, here is the issue faced by most new people who come in to internet marketing. They decide that they want to make money online so they purchase a product on the Warrior Forum or through doing a Google or other search. The sales page tells them they can make 10 grand in 30 days no work or investment required. They make the purchase and after they open up the product they find out that the opposite is true.

To top that all off they end up being bombarded by 5 or 6 emails a day promoting every new product under the sun that's being released. Many of the same well known marketers who are telling new people not to jump from one shiny object to the next are the SAME people who are selling them the shiny objects!!

It is a mine field for new people coming into this industry. And many of the sellers are not up front with buyers about what it really takes to make it for fear of not making as many sales. This is why I have moved away from selling make money products to selling in other markets. I have actually done better since doing that.

Money can be made online no doubt about it. But no one will make money until they realize what they are dealing with in the marketplace, unsubscribe from most email lists, find one method, and work it until it makes them money.

That's a good way for newbies to think, question everything.

I read in a book that it is only until man acquires the knowledge to know how to build his wealth that procrastination enters him. I've found this to be true and every time I feel like procrastinating I remember these words and fight procrastination. Then of course there is sometimes risk involved when you invest money into new endeavors. Sometimes its a worse feeling to not take action and then years later look back and say, "if only I would have taken action..." and sometimes its worse to take action and face a great failure. The point is that we make that decision

Newbies sometimes lack the skill that they think is required for achieving success. IMO it is one of the main reasons they procrastinate and do little.I don't agree that it is laziness, merely lack of knowledge. You will only gain that knowledge by taking action. Action gets results, results gives belief, belief in turn gets you to take more action.

It's also good to know the odds are against you.

Before I started my blog, I read somewhere that most bloggers quit within the first three months.

Apply this concept to making money online - many people want to, but how many keep pushing though the obstacles?

I wish there was something that would "change how I do affiliate marketing"....

Without complex funnels or bashing my head against the wall....I know, I need Affiliate Whirlwind.

The one thing that will get anyone starting out in the IM/MMO world is find the one niche you like and get good at it , then you can make a product and sell that to make a profit

It is not hard just takes time and work and you will succeed!

I started out buying a PDF about Valentines day knew nothing about how to sell the dam thing so pop up a site that the e-book supplied got someone to change the header the price for the e-book was $27 so left that alone and made a very crappy you tube video and made $27K in 3-4 weeks

This would not happen now a days but back late 2000s it was prime and the game was on for all who dared

I think that the fear of failure is what stops people from taking action.

Once you take action, you may likely fail. But you can always try again. It is best to not set your expectations too high and just focus on doing. You'll find that you'll eventually reap the rewards as long as you keep on taking action.

Good experience. Ive been through all that and now getting more patience to commit to those things, patient and consistent are very important.

I think that for most people who can`t make money online, the biggest reason is not investing in online business as well as learning at least the basic of wordpress, SEO, list building social media and traffic

The real reason why must people fail is because a lot of product owners in the internet marketing space are convincing the newbies that making money online is as easy as copy and paste and should also happen as fast as copy and paste.

So must people think they can work for 2 hours once and be a millionaire in a week.

naysayers will always exist...

we often need to rationalize why we fail at something "it couldnt be done because..."

that why i encourage ppl who fail to try again until they make their first dollar online..

Isn't that the most important thing?

Some people don't have access to certain educational elements needed to excel within the online realm. Like if you taught someone to print, something very simple, they should be able to print it no problem.

However, when you have products that your able to control and stick complex language that make people feel stupid when they can't grasp the language and people in charge of those products are able to pick and choose who they invest their time in, then to me that represents an issue.

i always see so many of my students struggle.

THEM : celente what the hell should I do.

ME : well I need to ask, how many people do you have on your list

THEM : well... Zero, zilch nothing.

I say this because when My guru and coach asked me this. I fixed it up, and started building my list. And when I did that, you should have seen how much my income changed.

Think of it, that right now, the difference between you and me is that you get up on stage and tell 0 people about your offer.

Where as I am up on anthony robbins stage and say....wow, isnt he cool, and then everyone gets to see what I am talking about and promoting.

So which would you rather be, the guy with zero people in yoru pocket. Or the guy who walks up on stage infront of say 100,000 people and say, hey LISTEN UP!....

think about it for a second, How do you think millionaire marketers do it. By articles, videos, commenting on blogs....NO....building their lists!

Just thought I chime in what made me ticked...

Many people "know" the HOW like what OP says.

But we are too comfortable with our current job, our current situation... to WORK on it. It's too much PAIN to be Consistent, to sacrifice the night out, the TV, the 7pm-2am after work hours to get this part-time (and eventual full-time) business up etc.

We let FEAR stop us because we DON'T HAVE A STRONG REASON WHY to DO IT. Why must we go through this (pain), it's more enjoyable not to do? We asked ourselves.

It's too scary to make a tiny mistake, too scary to take the steps and think "what if it doesn't work?" Everything has to be perfect, for me to take action... no failure allowed. This is the story we tell ourselves.

So why must we take that step that seems so scary when we are happy (and easier) searching for the next WSOs to buy so we can continue to "Feel" good knowing that we know how it work (but not for us, without doing any of the steps in the WSO) so we can keep searching for that "magic formula/button"? Ahh,.. that's comfort zone. No stress.

When we have a WHY, we mysteriously take the steps without hesitation and almost no pain cause we just have to do it to overcome our current Pain (Reason WHY).

When I got my WHY. I started really focusing on taking steps/actions. Creating Youtube videos, blog posts, searching and marketing top selling offers. Doing "simple" stuff like searching G when I'm stuck which I didn't use to do though I know. Contacting product owners to get help, asking forum, others for help... slowing became my new comfort zone.

You do different stuff and will get different results. Your WHY forces you to take the once Uncomfortable and Scary action. You have no choice cause you got to do it or else... the pain is there. Your WHY helps you overcome obstacles.

Why you can't make money? You don't want it bad enough. You Don't Have a Strong Why 'cause making money requires you to actually take the steps that Successful people are taking.

I think, first of all you've got to ask yourself a question: "What would I like to do to make money online?". Usually people start asking this question when they lose their basic job (or there's a long pause, i mean such cases as pregnant ones. mommies etc.) or if their basic job doesn't give them enough money. There are lots of ways to make money in the Internet, but you've got to choose your own one, the one that fits you well. Here's the article that helped me to choose my own way a couple of months ago, I strongly recommend the beginners to read it before searching the way of making money online (change the word "dot" to dot and delete the spaces).
