ClickBank Affiliate Marketing - Newbie Qns

Hi,

I'm a newbie to affiliate marketing so just confused in some points.
I'm going to promote click bank products through blog and PPC and now just stuck here.

1. Buy a domain-general for niche and its abcd.com. I just wanna list Click Bank products as subpage like abcd.com/product-name

2. Buy a separate domain for each product, like if the product name is "XYZ" then domain should either EMD or PMD.

Which is the best method to promote for organic, PPC and what is the conversion rate?
Is there any problem when I use the same contents in the product page and add "rel=nofollow".

looking for some helpful replies.

Ps. sorry for the bad English.

Thank you.

If you're going to promote through PPC, then the domain name doesn't really matter.

But lets say you are going to focus on promoting "Music Lessons" and their are 10 clickbank vendors selling music lessons..

The try to get a domain like "music-lessons.com" then you can do the music-lesson.com/product_name.

EMD plays a big role in Bing, when you SEO and build back links to get free organic clicks.

    I have 2 questions

    1. PPC is much faster it will probably works even if you are a newbie and you will need money to pay for ads.
    2. SEO is much slower and it will takes time to get ranked and get new clients but it definitelly worth, hmm of course its free!

@luciesmazanska you are right. but in my point of view, a good campaign should be combined with both PPC+SEO.

Don't do PPC, unless you've got money to throw away. Chances are you'll burn through your budget without getting a single sale via PPC...So if I were you, I wouldn't personally do PPC.

As for promoting Clickbank products - FOCUS, don't go crazy trying to promote 10-20 different products at once.

First, choose a niche, then see what the competition is like, then if all ok, start and blog and optimize it. You don't necessarily have to get an EMD or PMD. If you can find a catchy domain relevant to your niche, then I would suggest getting that.

Thanks for your advice. But as we all know SEO take time, so for getting some intial clients, making list & leads we should have to go for PPC.
I'm planning to spend just $5 per day for a 1-2 weeks with split testing on Bing. I'm doing this beacuse i don't know the conversion rate and which niche performing better with bing ads.

I agree with zdebx. Focus! Find one good product to start with. Email the vendor and see if they respond and are helpful. Find out how the most successful affiliates are promoting that product. Ask the vendor for help. Use the tools they provide such as email swipes and banners. A good vendor should be willing to help you make money for them, at least a little help in the beginning. I hope this helps.

No. 1 is my best option. Your main domain can be use as build your list and can be flip if you have steady traffic. If no.2 the disadvantage when the vendor taken down the product from the marketplace and your domain will be not so useful till expired.
