Best time for webinar?

Hi, I have a prospective client that may be doing a weekend webinar on a regular basis. He has a brick and mortar business and would like to do webinars about it. Has anyone noticed a better evening for doing this? Friday? Saturday? Sunday? Thanks for any insights.

This is just my gut instinct, but I would say Sunday nights would be the best - if you're only looking at a weekend schedule.

Again, only speaking for myself, but I'm almost always home on Sunday nights - compared to Friday and Saturday nights when I'm with friends or have plans.

What is his business and who exactly is he trying to connect with?

Personally if it is a service, I wouldn't do it in the evening or on a weekend as this is when I spend time with my family.

In saying that, it all comes down to what ever the product or service is.

For business related and corporate webinars - I have always avoided Mondays (people are too overwhelmed with catching up after two days off to do one) and also Fridays (people usually mentally turn off very early in the day and there just doesn't seem to be a good time to do them).

Let us know the business and we can give a better response.

Their business is lifecoaching. This would be a webinar on different aspects of improving life.

The webinars I have been on we're always at 7pm East Coast, and usually on Wednesday.

Mostly because at the beginning of the week people are busy, and towards the end of the week, people are only thinking of the weekend.

It's 5pm on the west coast after work time 6pm central and 7pm is not too late for east coasters.

If it's too late on the east coast no one will come.

7pm is also good because you can usually run about 1 hour of content then 30-45 minutes of q&a.

    That ends it at 8:45pm.

After 9 pm people are not going to stay on.
