    Was Halloween night chosen on purpose for this meet up?

    Halloween [hal-uh-ween, -oh-een, hol-]: noun. 1. the evening of October 31; the eve of All Saints' Day; a night observed especially by children in costumes who solicit treats, often by threatening minor pranks.

    So are you going to wear costumes, solicit treats, and prank each other?

    Sounds like a fun evening.

      We just thought it would be a good idea to get together at the end of the month, look over what we achieved and what we will do in November.

      But I like the idea of costumes, treats and pranks

        you have a lot of people on this forum from USA, Canada, and England. How many do you think will pay upwards of 2k just for the airfare to get there, not to mention food and lodging. As well, we have a lot of members from poorer countries that can not even afford a decent autoresponder so they are basically out. It is nice that you want to have this so called meet and greet, but after reading the post by jkennedy in which you guys flew to meet people that left the forum years ago, have not participated in the forum for years, and have now left again after the cocktail party, why would we want to be part of this meetup

        Secondly, and do not take this personally, but we are basically ignored in the suggestion forum so why would we travel half way around the world to be ignored

    Glad to see that events are becoming a more common occurrence with WF. Though the forum has always a few events here and there, I feel like there haven't been enough and I'm glad to see that Freelancer is seeing the possibilities by hosting more of them.

    Hopefully, the WF team is able to make it to the States soon. Will definitely be attending that one.
