Haven't Posted in a long while, been off of the scene on IM even longer. Can anyone offer some advice as to where to get restarted? I've made some income from Fiverr in the past by writing review articles, not sure if Fiverr is still a good platform though. Any help would be greatly appreciate also more than willing to become an apprentice and work for the knowledge, not the money.

Amazon. Look at my gift card balance

Amazon is where it's at right now. I don't need to pay taxes on it either because in my area gift card balances aren't taxable.

I don't get a lot of money from this, maybe $150 a day, but amazon let me get started for free because I've had an account since 2011.

I'm not a tax attorney... But if you live in the US, if Amazon is paying you via gift card, those earnings are almost certainly taxable.

As to the OP. If you don't know where to start, a bunch of random strangers on a public forum who know absolutely nothing about you, your skills, your experience, your preferences or your resources aren't likely going to know either.

Knowing what to do isn't hard: You identify a need that a certain population has, you figure out how to meet that need better than the competition, and you monetize your work.

Of course, knowing what to do and being able to actually do it are two very different things...

Create your own product or do affiliate marketing.

It's not hard to do and if you focus your time on doing either of these from the start, you will learn a valuable skill set that will take you anywhere you want.

Since you're starting on a fresh slate, you may as well do it right from the start.

Yes, Fiverr still works and I'm using it for some side-income but it definitely shouldn't be your main source of income. Learn how to build a list and how to mail that list and focus on that.

    Hi,

Email marketing is always powerful, I recommend you find out a way to build an email list and market it. There're several ways to build an email list such as create product launch, set an offer with a squeeze page,...

I'll probably upset some writers and say -Stay out of the IM scene if you are thinking of coming back in being a writer. Writing for a living on the internet SUCKS for 95% of the people doing it. I just finished a conversation with yet another writers content mill who swears coming and going his rates starting at less than a penny a word is great pay.

If you want to write then turn your writing into some other skill that commands more. blog, use your content writing skills with a full SEO offer. DO PPC management where you write the ads. Do your writing with something else is the way to go. Awful writers have driven down the earning potential for lots of good writers.

First, you should focus on what you know most. Which exp you have most. Then use that exp and try to do affiliate marketing.

Start a blog now! You don't need a sales funnel or anything, start building your business from scratch, you can promote products or sales funnels from other people and when you feel more comfortable you can create your own list, your own sales funnel, and your own products.

Once you have a lot of content you can start making leverage, this is where you can create products like ebooks or maybe an online course.

You said you are willing to work hard more than making fast money, a blog is the best way for someone like you.

If you want to blog set it up and in the background have a couple of other revenue streams from freelancing while you get established.

While it's not glamous work you could write blogs for people on the freelance sites or articles and earn a fairly good income for a while or you could do a range of other editing work to get you established. Your blog will be your core focus but this might help you out what you set up.

I've used freelancer and it's ok, I would recommend it if you can set up a profile and share some of your work you should get some good contacts at least.

Upwork and PeoplePerHour are the two I recommend personally.

    I would personally avoid Fiverr.
