[NEWBIES] How to Make that First Sale & Generate Recurring Payment NOW!

Every time I read a post that someone gave up on
continuing their passion, it breaks my heart that
either they have bigger obstacles than others or
they simply do not have the will to overcome them.

I have done a breakdown how you can make
your 1st sale online regardless who and where
you are based on compiled successes from
my students so far.

1. Identify the EVP niche
Like life, not all niches are equal.
Some niches are easier to convert than others.
For a niche to be successful, it has to meet the EVP criteria.

Update: For a niche to fit into the "P" criteria,
it has to be a problem that is so frustrating
and troublesome that people can't do without it.

For example, biometric authentication has been preferred
over password authentication over the ease and frustration
of remembering different passwords in different sites.

2. Choose a RECURRING product
Think of it.

Would you rather have $10,000 one time or
$10,000 every month after putting in the same
amount of effort?

However, if finding a recurring product is
near impossible in your niche, consider
email marketing to emulate sales closed to
that of a recurring product.

3. Email Marketing

Start the 1st mail addressing their problem
to prevent losing them and remind them why
they sign up in the first place.

Move on with the 2nd mail and give them
some partial solution found in the offer you are
going to give them in the 3rd mail to pre-warm
interest for the third mail.

Go for the kill by linking the offer with the problem
they have.

Reinforce and reward their purchase behavior
on the 4th mail so you are essentially binding their
loyalty to you despite having competitors promoting
the same product.

4. Traffic on Demand
Once you have found your offer, do a quick search where
the demand lies.

List them by the volume where they tend to hang out such as
-Forums
-Facebook
-Google
-Bing
-Twitter
-Linkedin

Next, identify who your ideal audience are and try to form a
persona for your campaign such as
-gender
-age
-income level
-jobs
-marital status

The more defined your persona is, the better your targeting will be.

Regardless you are on social media, SEO, offline marketing,
bing, Adwords or facebook (or any platforms), the foundation
for a successful campaign look like this.

I am open to any question and I hope this post will mark your success
before New Year comes around.

Another tip on starting your online business is to choose niche products that are hard to find locally---one of the top reasons why people buy online.
Also research products that cater to passionate customers such as hobbyist and pet lovers. Good luck!

      That's a great advice.

On top of that, you need to set up barriers to keep others
      from copying your business.

      Such barriers included
-Setting up exclusive partnership with suppliers
-Providing exclusive bonus no one else had
-Setting up loyalty program to lock in customers

    Thanks Solarwarrior for the post.

The model is sound but despite having many prospects in passionate niches the readers should expect to do some work between steps 1 and 2.

    There is a nurturing phase.

If people are hot and ready to buy then the nurturing step is a secondary consideration but one most successful marketers don't forget.

Even the hottest prospects require some relationship building experience along the way.

I would say the email marketing sequence is something that fits both before and after a prospect views your offer.

In my experience both in my business and working with clients there needs to be a lot of relationship building done to maximise results.

It can be done via any number of methods or platforms but without it unless you are selling the cure for the big C you will have a tough road if you don't build the relationship for the long term.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

      I agreed.

However, you wouldn't want to build that
relationships for too long until the leads turn cold.

A balance of building relationship and
the number of mail sent out is ideal to achieve
      optimal sales from email marketing.

I saw this thread the other day and I really love what you did here. This could be a free book here or even something you could sell.

This information is really good. I might have to save this webpage before they take it down.

p.s. never thought about niches in this way. Pretty much guaranteed money IMO
