Social bookmarking software for free

Hi everyone

I just finished beta testing a new social bookmarking community software. To get it started I will give away free accounts to WF members.

If you use social bookmarking as a marketing technique, you can signup for free here:
Free Site-Hype Social Bookmarking account

Add your submission to the Site-Hype software as you do your submission to the social web sites and build hype (get votes) through the social as well as Site-Hype. You tag other peoples submissions and earn credits in the Site-Hype system. The more credits you have the more other users will be asked to tag your submissions.

At this moment we only support a handful of the largest social bookmarking sites but we will be adding more later once we get this one going.

If you have ideas of features you would like to see in the software I would love to hear about them.

Have an awesome day
Fredrik Lönn

I was disappointed to login and find I could only do 2 things.

Bookmark other peoples stuff or pay to upgrade.

Then with the upgrade you still only get one for one bookmark, so it's always going to be really manual.

I use other systems like this, but on those you can opt to pay and have others earn credits by bookmarking your stuff.

I like these ideas, but your system is just way too manual for me to use.

Yes Andy, I agree. It doesn't seem like this system is offering anything superior to the other social bookmarking systems. If you are not going to offer anything superior, you better have one good marketing campaign going for this.

Thank you very much for the feedback and for taking the time to test it

The submit option is disabled until you reach 100 credits, which don't take long, then you can do the submit as well. I should have mentioned that in the post.

During beta I have used my outsourcer for tagging and commenting and have made submissions myself to get it as i want it.

I do think you've done a good job with what's there - and there's definitely a market for tools like this.

I just think that the way it currently is - you're mainly going to attract smaller players who don't value their time too much.

I would happily use this system if it was setup so that I could bookmark other peoples stuff when I want, but if I want mine done I have an immediate way, so that people with more time can earn credits and people like me (with less time) can pay to get others to do it.

I have accounts at lots of social bookmarking sites and I can use tools like Onlywire and Piqq.us (another community that DOES do what I'm suggesting) so this doesn't seem to be filling a hole.

Thanks for the feedback, You have a very valid point. Especially since I am not doing my bookmarking myself either.

I will get to work to add an option for people who prefer to pay instead of doing the work themselves.

          Thanks
          Fredrik
