Downloadable video format question

Those of you who do downloadable videos with your products. What format do you use?

I am thinking of providing an HD mp4 and a WMV as my 2 options. I think most people can view Mp4 but not sure since I am a Mac guy.

What format do you deliver your videos in?

mov, mp4, flv are all good formats in my book.
AVI is also good if a compression codec is used, but in some
cases clients have had playback issues with h264 encoded
avi. I wouldn't recommend wmv, but it's just my personal
    preference.

It depends on formats available in your video application.
Like you said- you're thinking mp4, it's good choice if the
    format works for you

it's not really that big of a deal, but you'll get less support
tickets with popular formats I mentioned above.

That's my experience, but if someone has more technical
details, feel free to correct me.

    Chris

I'd go with MP4 or FLV as well, especially for integrating it into blogs like WordPress or Joomla. Those file types are supported very well.
