1 month is just to early to see some results in my opinion. Hold on a little more and see what happens..

If your posts are not ranked high in Google search then you can forget about getting free traffic from Google. You cannot expect your posts to rank high naturally or automatically. If your keywords are competitive ones, then they will not be ranked high without any quality backlinks. Building quality backlinks is the most effective way to improve rankings, you should research more on this.

Well have you done any SEO for it?

You're not going to magically appear on #1 page of google.

I bet you have competition in the same niche as you, right?

Well the competition in your niche that's getting all the traffic from search engines surely is not just waiting for the sites to magically rank.

You have to work on your SEO, bud

i read somewhere that you need to promote your posts yourself, you can get free traffic from facebook groups, so write something inspirational then post your link, traffic will flood to your page if you get to groups with 30k+ people and its targeted

well the short answer is to figure it out, it sucks, but try something, try going to a networking event and talk to people, see if maybe they can help promote your blog on their sites or something

Are you constantly adding relevant content to your blog? Also, on top of adding content to your blog on the regular, you also need to add your keywords into the posts as well. And if you can link to outside giants (Facebook, Youtube, Wikipedia, etc) it will also make your site more relevant! I hope that helps and good luck!

1 piece of advice: trash blogspot. Right now. Seriously.

Buy a domain and hosting and start a Wordpress blog.

Trying to succeed with a blogspot blog is like walking into an engineer's job with a resume saying you passed kindergarten LOL Just having fun with ya, because sometimes when you are REALLY frustrated, you need that clear advice to get ya on the straight and narrow.

You can simply transfer your posts to your Wordpress.org blog after you buy a domain and hosting but I'd trash it and start fresh.

But then again, I'm crazy. Which is why I blog from paradise

    Happy Blogging!

PS....seriously though, get off of blogger immediately! Biggest waste of time in the blogging world. Step up to bat, pay for a domain, pay for hosting, brand yourself effectively, and then your traffic and income can start flowing in.

Are the topics in your blog provide valuable information to your readers or something that they can practically use and apply to their life? Are you promoting these contents through FB, Twitter, and other social media networks? Or are you doing any thing to "reach out" to your target audience and let them be aware that your blog exist...? These are some of the things you have to look into because I have I applied these tips in my situation before and I was able to increase the number of visitors in my blog...

    Good luck.

Did you do any 'black hat' SEO? If so...that may be your problem. 196 posts on a blog that was running since 2012 and zero traffic means something is very wrong.

    Hi Saj,

There are many reasons for not getting traffic to your blog:

    1. Your content is not enough to attract targeted visitors
    2. You are not sharing that blog socially
    3. You are not focusing on targeted keyword
    4. Design Issue, improper blog design issue.

One way I got my blog to start ranking well was to join a very active commenting group on Facebook and to share and comment on their blogs. I was soon getting 5 -15 comments a day, my Alexa rank went from over 8 Million to just over 400,000 in a little over 5 months. Try it.

    1. Carefully select the keywords you desire your article to position highest for. If being # 1 for any certain phrase is important to you personally, choose keywords that aren't very competitive. Simultaneously, you desire to be sure that it's a phrase men and women will actually seek out, which people who search for that phrase have an interest in what you will need to sell. Wordtracker.com delivers a good free tutorial concerning how to choose good keywords for your website. The same techniques pertain to your articles.
    2. Put your keyword phrase near the start of the title of the article. It may take some word smiting so it will be appear to be it belongs there.
    3. Your keyword phrase should also be near the start of the very first sentence of the article and sprinkled throughout the article body. Make sure you write naturally so your keyword phrase doesn't be noticeable and detract through the readability of the article.
