Cool little CMS for none techie people

Hey guys,

while doing my morning brows around the
net I came across this little CMS tool any
none techie can use, check it out it's called...

Zimplit?

  • It's simpler than any content management system you've seen before
  • No admin area - you just log in and edit on-site
  • You don't need a database - all data is there, in HTML pages
  • Zimplit is 100% search engine friendly
  • You can set up your own website in 5 seconds
  • Zimplit is Open Source and free forever
Just thought I'll pass it along but I've never tried
it and don't really know if it is robust but the demo
was cool...

I just chcked out theri demo and it seems very promissing

I'm a webdesigner and developer and have been searching for ages for something like this to give my customers the oppertunity to make changes on their custom built pages in a very simple way.

Thanks for letting us know about it

There IS a reason why databases are used so much. They aren't there to make things harder.

"Zimplit is 100% search engine friendly"

That would be a nice trick, but they now all work differently.

I'd stay away from comments like that. There is a lot of O/S stuff that was made commercial!

Interesting- first CMS I've heard of that doesn't use a database.

Of course, that means a lot of typical CMS features won't be available, like creating user accounts, and probably most of the things people use a CMS for.

Guys, this obviously isn't meant to compete with Joomla. It's a simple solution for people looking for site management tools without the advanced features that require a cumbersome installation.
