If you just started blogging then you need to focus on how to promote your blog and content (assuming that you have good content on it).

You can put adsense on your blog now or later. That doesn't matter.

What matters is who will see your content on your blog so they can click on your ads.

You can add adsense whenever you'd like but that should not be your focus.
If you have 50k+ visitors a day and don't have anything to promote to them or sell... then add adsense to your site.
You'll get a few dollars here and there until you really start focusing on what really matters, your content and audience

first, you need to publish some good content in your blog and then execute SEO techniques so when Google bots comes to visit your blog it will be a love from first sight in you know what i mean.

The reason I asked was because I am receving a small steam of traffic to the blog. I'll listen to the recommendations and hold out until I get more traffic and just build content.

Yes, it is better that way. focus on your content first, then add some income stream such as Adsense.

Hi Julio
My advise is to wait until you have at least 30 relevant articles/blog posts/videos to add Adsense Ads, not now, first try to increase awareness and trust with your readers before putting any ads in your site.
