Warrior that have purchased articles and content in the past: what's your biggest complaint?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get an understanding from the Warriors here about their biggest frustrations of purchasing content and articles, either from freelancers or from companies.

The common thread that I see from marketers is that it is difficult to find a service that is both reasonably priced and of a high enough quality to use on money sites. You get what you pay for.

I look forward reading about your experiences.

    Hi there.
My biggest complaints are that the High Quality Writers is the cost because If I want content should be from First Tiers Countries and they are expensive as they are charging around 30-50$ per each article. In the other hand, you can find people from India or Taiwan and they usually charge 5-10$ per article but the quality is not good and you pay less for a crappy content.
Also another complaint I have is the lack of research about the content I want them to write for me, so the articles are limited and not what I am looking for.
    Hope it helps.

First off I paid one person here on the Warrior Forum the highest rate posted above. The Quality was perfect. Recently I gave someone a shot here off a WSO at a cheaper rate for filler material and the content was halfway decent. The person was new to the forum, only issue I wanted 500 words and they went over that number. Not sure if they wanted payment extra payment but took care of them just in case.

The biggest failure was a Big Poster here about 2 years ago, required a deposit, jerk around several weeks and sent the money back. Their are others I have used with mixed results here. I would not use any of these new freelancers here that are posting content to this forum. Most are clueless in what they write here.

Most writers charge by word count; i.e. 500, 1000, 1500 words. Hard to order articles by word count... Most will either end up with a lot of fluff or not covering the topic well enough. In both cases, the article is worthless.

My first post on the forum I think if you want quality articles, you need to pay a fair price for the quality.

Given that I am trying to start a service that provides articles, this thread scares me a bit lol.

But I'm planning on editing whatever I send out so I don't believe I would need to deal with these problems if my stuff is on point.

I'm in this boat too, trying to find writers for a niche.

Are good top tier country writers really willing to write a well-researched, 1000-word article for $50?

it takes me several hours to put together an article that is informative, not spammy, has good pics, and that people will like and share. Anything less than that I'd be embarrassed to publish and would degrade my blog.

So I'm confused. People talk about hiring good writers for $50, and I could spend up to that if it's good, but I can't imagine a good writer spending 5 hours at it for $10/hr.

Freelancers do not really know your niche so the articles end up sucking

Broken promises don't upset me. I just think, why did they believe me?

The main issue really is just hiring someone who has good writing that you like, ask for samples first and make sure your first order with them isn't for a massive ebook!

What can happen with poor writers from a few experiences I've had with them is they repeat themselves many times in their writing to expand the word count, but the readibility level is poor. Sometimes what happens is they try to expand their word count but end up repeating themselves over and over, Ive noticed readability can suffer when they try to keep repeating points too many times to boost word count!

Why do you need what others have gone through ? where is the value to them ? if you want to find out keep reading the threads you will soon find the answers

Been on here awhile and I see a pattern with this type of thread

Launching a WSO or service on writing articles! there is a very fine line between research and self promotion which if you had read the rules a no no

Using softwares to write articles. The result is pathetic - even if the so-called writer considers doing an edit. The result is very underwhelming.
