Influencer Marketing - What It Is & How Effective It Can Be

I'm seeing a lot of threads where people ask how 'Affiliate Marketing' & 'Internet Marketing' is making a lot of money.

What some people don't realize is that there's another 'subtle' component to this : Influencer Marketing.

A lof of these Affiliate Marketers are 'teaming' up with the Internet Marketers to make additional money

I made an animated video explaining, if you guys are interested:

#affiliate marketing #effective #influencer #influencer marketing #internet marketing #marketing

Loved the video. And I also love the message. You cannot argue the power of using those with massive following, loyal followers when it comes to promoting your offer or service. I am sure there are many other sources out there, not just instagram! Think podcasts, youtube stars, and blogs etc.

If you're willing to dig, you can find golden nuggets that other people may not!

    Cheers,

      Thank you Saul!

Yeap -- In fact, instagram and twitter can turn out to be pretty ineffective since the followers could very well be dormant. (Also, people buy a lot of followers too)

The most effective platform for influencer marketing is LINKEDIN.

There are a couple of tricks you can use to turbocharge your results.

Otherwise, it would feel like you're using twitter to get connections: not impossible but annoyingly tedious.

How? I always thought Linkeden was a site to put up a profile of yourself up so when people come and search you it was easy for them to find your information.

I'd like more information linedIN as well, but I do know a bit on this topic.

LinkedIN now has a "LinkedINfluencer" feature as well. LinkedIN allows you to post blogs, and people can follow you.

I'm not sure how it works exactly, but I believe with enough followers you get the "INfluencer" tag to your na,e

Interesting! Perhaps I should look into this.

My research tells me that Bloggers have the highest coversion rates/influence impact.

Could either of you expand on why LinkedIn proves more effective? Is it the "business" tone of it all?

    Hey there good thread!

What a lot of online marketers fail to realise is people buy off emotion!

They want a solution to their problem and they want it fast

In my opinion, influencer marketing is kind of the next level of word of mouth marketing, which is probably the most powerful type of marketing a business can have. When people are actively talking about you, your business, and your products, you really can't help but be successful.

Social media and influencers have expedited word of mouth marketing. They've also made it extremely quick and easy to reach your ideal customers. When used correctly, it's extremely powerful.

With that said, influencer marketing has been around in affiliate marketing for years. When you JV or buy solo ads, you're tapping into the established relationship between the JV partner or list owner and using their influence to grow your business.

Ty for this post, Gambino! Well said.

Question to you: What are your thoughts for the years to come? I have a feeling that consumers are going to see through this in time -- Making it extremely difficult for bloggers to earn trust.

This will pose a problem for even well intention bloggers/mavens. Sorta worrying tbh.

For example, Lord&Taylor already got into trouble with their instagram campgain and many are upset with them!
