The KEY is to make sure you are providing something that your audience wants. There is no better way to find out than through Facebook.

You can go into your Facebook ads manager and do research on your target audience... that way, you are reaching out to people that want your stuff...

The first and foremost couple big questions that you need to answer if you are to have any shot at making this money in this time frame are:

1. What have you been doing the last few years? What have you tried? From your post history it seems that you have been all over the place - most people go through that phase. Do you have a website now? Do you have finished or close to finished products that you can sell? Do you have the funding needed to get the tools you need such as hosting if you don't have them already?

2. Why has nothing worked out for you till now? You've gotten a lot of advice in the past, right? Why hasn't it succeeded?

Appreciate Mark for stopping by. You are right I have few tips before. I made few bugs too. By selling my services. Which takes hell out of my time. I never make any money by selling products.

More importantly I know always the trend is changing I am here to get the new trends for this big festive season. I am getting those kind of advise by our mate Junaid. By giving me the shopify idea with facebook. I did know abut shopify only just it is a shopping cart.

That's what I thought. You have shiny object syndrome. In addition you need money but don't want to spend the time necessary to make it.

Sorry to say that unless you figure out how to escape this mindset, you'll always be asking the same question: "how can I make $X.00 before Y date?"

My questions were put there because I know from experience the futility of what you are doing and I was hoping you'd see that. Apparently not.

Those are the great places to look for the writing work. But again it is a Service model.

Where we need to do constantly work,

Finding a suitable job
Writing new proposals
Communicating with them on Skype/email/social media
Sometimes need to do bidding
If you are lucky enough then you will get the job
You need to write
Sometimes modification required
If you don't do threatening for negative remarks

Where I am looking for a biz model

Where somebody show a fare way to selecting a product to promote
I will promote that product in different places

Every day theres ten thousand guys at least around the world working their rear ends off on one , two and three jobs per day and here is a "Php developer" whining about

waaah waaah its a service model

Give me a break bring one of those guys working their tails off and we can help that guy.

send them this way and I will show them how to scale a service model like SEO and make money because

Theres no crying in MMO and its not for the I want to be spoon fed types anyway. Stop feeding these threads because at the end of the day its not doing them any good and they are the least likely to make $500 before Christmas.

alfa you don't own any thread here. When you post here people have a right to state their opinion and it is not only my opinion but many other posters in this thread that having been here for near a decade you are just not applying yourself.

You are looking for someone to hold your hand, pick out the product and just lead you to a pot of gold with little work and such fantasies junk up the entire forum. We always hear about how WSO sellers are selling false dreams of getting rich easy etc etc but seldom do people take the responsibility that often its the people who just want to lazy their way to money with some magical must work paint by number scheme that creates such WSOs.

Plus as a php developer myself you just make us all look bad. OF all people on the internet developers should be able to fend for themselves and create an internet business of some sort with hard work not crying about service models.

Stop crying about having to work hard and putting thought into your business and model. That IS a positive piece of advice.

BTW if you are looking for a product to sell - look in your sig. You are asking others what to sell and have been here nine years . Haven't you noticed that 95% of the people on WF use wordpress and wordpress plugins?? Roll up your sleeves start a thread about what they would like to have in wordpress and go get it done. Theme creators are making MUCHO mulla developing wordpress themes and plugins and themeforest gives you a great platform to begin marketing whatever you apply yourself to developing.

You want one piece of actionable advice you say? Do exactly what Mike Anthony wrote here.

You don't have time to screw around with new things if you have a deadline of less than 6 weeks. The things that are being mentioned you have no clue how to do so you are going to be starting from scratch. You know there is a learning curve with all the things your looking for, right?. If it was so easy, you'd have done it by now.

Now, if you are going to abandon your coding stuff because you are tired of it or whatever, that's fine. Take it out of your signature. Erase your goal of $500 by Christmas and set another goal once you've done the following.

Read all the threads where you said you know this question has been asked many times before.

Make a decision on your own as to what you want to do based on those threads. Get started. Then as you run into little issues, you can come back and ask for help.

Now you are talking Mike, that is what I was looking for one single solid adice. So I can move on.
Dont feel bad about my 'Php developer ' statemnet I make in my post. I am not crying on that but give me your honest opinion and let us know is itt true or no.

This is everybody's right to express about their work. Why, the reason I have mention I love to work as developer but the problem here that I will not make money, if don't I market myself and reach to my target audience how my development skill work. Unless like all smart people suggesting do a jooooooooooooob.

Where as the people who advice to do a job, its mean they want no competition for themselves. By the way most of the people forget that is an Internet Marketing forum the every question here is meant to answered from that point only.

If I have to take adice on then should go to other classified sites like indeed or monster not here.

As a php developer you understand that the process of taking one job is more than selling an item and forgetting about it. php developers need to be consistent at work. Almost 24/7 if you are dong everything.
As said in one of the post.

This is the difficulty I am facing and I feel no shame expressing in the public. I am not begging here for money I am asking any tips so that I can blend my efforts on it.

Oh we ! As you guys should aware that in online business one of the important thing is providing tips to others as a returning back to community. Unlike offline business nobody like to share their secretes and their make donations to justify themselves in front on community.

See, on the other hands Affiliate Marketers do only one thing, which of course they love to do that is marketing and earn money they dont bother about the creating product upto accepting payments and after sales service right. The only thing they are working on marketing stuff not matter where and how they market. Do you agree on that.

To be honest NOT BEING MEAN I think getting a job may well be YOUR best option. If after nine years here you are complaining that you need to market yourself and reach a target audience it may be worth considering that going by yourself on anything is not the way to go for your personal path.

We share what we can, have no obligations whatsoever to hand you every thing to make money without you thinking for yourself. As I have said many times. If your life choice in charity work is to help marketers your priorities are messed up. With orphans, abused women, mentally hadicapped, people starving in different parts of the world, genocide victims, children dying of cancer and a myriad of sufferers of other diseases I will be (literally) damned to spend a single hour of my time not helping those people in order to help some guy in his jammies that fears hard work but still wants to make money online.

Cold call businesses and sell Google My Business SEO. You don't need any website only phone connection. The SEO itself can be ongoing local SEO which is fairly straight forward although a lot of tradespeople don't have it set up. Pick the low hanging fruit.

The quickest way to get $500 by Christmas is to sell some of your stuff. You don't need capital, it will be quick and doesn't requite a lot of your time.

I could think of a number of things I could sell right now sitting in basement that I hardly use I could sell on Kijiji or Craigslist. Tanning bed, finish nailer etc.

Making money online is possible but it will take a little time to learn the ropes. A lot of things you try might not work.

However, you only need one thing to work to see results and be successful.

You're asking two different questions.

1. How can I make $500 before Christmas? This will probably involve selling possessions or a service to make money quickly.

2. How can I build a long-term sustainable business that provides some passive income instead of providing services. This can, but probably won't, include making quick cash. It will involve making some investment in time and money.

I don't think you're going to get both at the same time, in the same business model.

Freelancer, Upwork, Fivver, and the other Freelancers sites might be the best way to meet your goal,

If you really want to make those 500 bucks, create a plan and set up some milestones, you have a little more than a month to do it, so you must know what your goals will be: how much will you be making next week? And the week after that? If you want to make 500 bucks, you also need to have in mind all the fees and taxes you might have to pay, so maybe your real objective will be 550 USD or something like that.

No doubt, there are many new business models out there that are springing up.

I need to know where you live, what you are willing to do so i can narrow it down for you.

Some may not cash out now but there are quite a few i know that can cash out in 30 to 40 days such as waste recycling and mining, just to mention a few.

If you don't frown at peer to peer kind of business model then you can easily earn 30 to 60 percent of your investment.

Go on craigslist in your town and look for the free stuff. Go pick it up and resell it and refurbish it. You'll make 500 in no time with free stuff you got.

Throwing a yard sale like others have suggested is the obvious. Forget Ebay as it takes too long and the listing fees (and packing materials and shipping) will eat your profit - sell local.

Go to a thrift store and find under-priced items that you can immediately flip on OfferUp (especially brand name luxury goods). The real opportunities are going to be after Christmas when stores are trying to get rid of their excess inventory.

I have admittedly been out of it for a little while, but in my view the fastest and easiest way to make a chunk of change on the internet is eBay and right here on the Warrior Forum.

Obviously on ebay you have to have some products that you can sell for a profit. But alternatively you could just liquidate some of your possessions that you are not using. That would raise a couple of bucks

If you can put together any kind of information package and make a little sales video you could definitely make some money with a WSO

It is admittedly difficult, however, to make any serious money unless you have some money to start with

Back-in-the-day, I did freelance work--yes, it does take up your time, but, it will make you money.

Trust me, there is always a market for writers

What are your interests--meaning what have you been reading and about in your spare time--because this topic interests you.

Once you have that, then is is what you should write about.

Especially if you want fast cash, as you will not need to do much research to write about a topic that has been your hobby for years.

And in the off chance you do, you will know the sites you need to go to do to the research.

Two points,

First

Commit yourself to getting to this goal.

Second,

After you reach this goal--do not stop--by this I mean, if you did the freelance work--got the money--why don't you go into the same niche you were just writing about.

Put up a website and start driving traffic to it.

If you do not want to invest in paid traffic--write articles and submit them to directories like ezine articles.

Yes, this approach does not work like it used to, but, it still works.

Set up a facebook page, twitter, etc and start interacting with people--especially the big players in this niche.

Also, do not neglect the big forums in your niche--too.

However, most important--do not stop--sure you may not make millions by next week--but, if you keep at it, you can over time, start making good money form your website.

If a person can simply sing, draw, write, sketch or design something creative then Fiverr is the place to be. You can offer your services for $5 on Fiverr. The amount of money you will be making is actually four dollars as Fiverr take $1 in every $5 you make.

FYI Fiverr is not that easy any more so the conversations on here have been saying

What used to be easy is now a lot harder just to put up a gig and get customers

I previously posted 'letters from Santa' as an option for you. For some bizarre reason a white knighter reported the post (I can guess who) so I posted that I would do it myself.

Well I have and up to now I have made 1780 through a simple free plus shipping. Start up costs was 10 for a domain and hosting. I've used a free theme, woocommerce, contacct form 7 and PayPal.

Money comes in advance and next week I start shipping the letters.

Honestly people make this much harder than it needs to be.

Out of interest OP what have you done since your post to make money? Hows it going?

Takes a fair amount of discomfort and wanting to overcome YEARS of inertia.

I'm willing to bet that if a gun were placed to the temple and a deadline given, someone might find the motivation and determination to leap past any and all obstacles, to produce $500 today, tomorrow and the next.

The force for change must be strong enough to knock you off your current path and onto the path that will produce the desired results.

Change is usually messy, and sometimes brutally ugly. But, it's always necessary.

Instead of answering "Get a job" that he might already have, then answer him politely.

Flip starter websites on Flippa. It is tthe fastest way to make money online, and $500 a week is very doale if you know the ins and outs.

I started there back in the day selling a site for over $300 ... today you can sell starter sites between $97-$197 a piece if you know what to do.

Its okay money.

Thanks guys for all the help you provided. I love WF for this very reason only. Every time I come here, I get some positive energy to move on in online business. All your suggestions are great, which were very helpful.

From this thread, I hope that not only me who got the benefit, but other newcomers might found it helpful.

During this journey, whatever hot and cold discussions happened, believe me, I got great help out of it. I like to thank all of you guys. I truly mean all of you guys who posted here.

This is a big community where people with vast experience. Along with tremendous exposure to the online business. Every word from them is like a Gold.

Conclusion:
I am building a solid foundation for my online business with the help some very nice people and so far, I am able to bag around ninety dollars. I hope this journey will continue not only up to Christmass but forever.

There is only one advice for all newcomers, and that is only three words which are ASK, ACTION, and CONSISTENCY.

Those are the great ingredients for the SUCCESS recipe.
ACTION + CONSISTENCY = SUCCESS

Make a blog about Christmas Gift at blogger.com and then buy a custom domain that will cost you about $10. Go to Amazon.com and apply for their affiliate program. After you get approved start writing on your blog about popular Christmas gifts at Amazon and use your affiliate link. Write some good articles about as many gifts possible which should take about 2-3 days if you work hard. Start promoting the blog in social media pages, groups and videos that are talking about Christmas gifts. Keep doing it, make a plan. For example, 5000 comments in two weeks. You may end up making lot more than $500 and establish a way to earn regularly.

Sell a physical product. The holiday season is prime time for product purchases. If you can get ahold of some stock online that's not available in your area, the markup can be huge. I have a friend that buys collector items from Japan and sells them at 200% markup in his little po-dunk town.

This can be done all year, but is especially profitable during the holidays. Think of the frenzy behind sold-out Nintento Wii. Hatchimals are going for $150 right now in sold-out areas. Imagine if you could get ahold of 4-5 for $30 each!?
