Looking for a free membership site script / software

Good evening,

I am looking for a free membership site script / software, thats works :p

I tried Memberfire.com. Couldnt install it on my main- or any addon-domain. No support-horrible.

Any recommendations?

    You can also try joomla, and if that not suits you then go with Wordpress, and it's relevant membership plugins although you may have to pay for some good plugins out there, same case goes with joomla.

      I think MemberWing and WishList Member will both handle that very well for you on a WordPress site.

          Yeah, you're right. I got so carried away reading the other posts that I forgot the original intent.

          Anyhoo, doesn't MemberWing have a free version that can give a start, handle the release manually or with the timer, and then add the drip when affordable?

      You can schedule WordPress posts to publish in the future, very easily within WordPress without any plugin at all.

      When you create the post, normally you see Post Immediately but there is an Edit link which you can click and then choose a date and time im the future for the post to publish.

      That's really nice.

      I wish there were such an easy solution from a regular site - outside of WordPress.

        I have one, but it has grown a bit since I originally built it. I packaged it into a self installer then. Needs to be repackaged as a self installing script and it's ready to roll out ... works with any html or php site. Especially good with .htaccess protected membership sites (which is where I use it.)

        Know anyone who wants to smooth it out and roll it out? It works like a charm. I'm pleased with it. PM me if you're interested in taking it over. Of course I'd like a cut. It's not a giveaway.

    Get fully featured free MemberWing membership site plugin - that is if you're running your sites with Wordpress.
    The difference between free and pro is automated payment processing. Otherwise all functionality is there.
