How to make a comeback after a business failure!!

Ok , things are messed up and you are looking for a single ray of hope to get out of it.

You have also heard a lot of stories about people who failed in digital entrepreneurship but eventually got themselves up.

Now taking everything under consideration, whats the best way to keep yourself motivated?

First, you should consider the whole thing as a positive experience because now you know what are your weaknesses. Its better to find them earlier than to get hit by it later. So, congratulations you just went through an essential professional evolution.

Now how to push yourself through this transition period?

Stop the blame game. Yes!! Its time to move on. Admit things were not in your control and its useless to waste your time for some miracle to happen without you putting any effort. Find out what type of behavior led to that particular consequence and figure out about things on which you still have perfect control. Hold on to these things and start moving forward because life is way too short to be disappointed.

Challenge your instincts. Most of the time you follow your instincts even after consulting with someone ( because youre the boss). Now, it turns out that decision failed miserably and its time to challenge those decisions. For example was it because you increased the price of the product or you ran out of money or your email marketing content was total crap. Whatever the reason there might be, now its time to test them and analyze that whether any of these flaws were responsible behind the failure or not?

Devise a new plan. Now thats the part where you should make your imagination work. Think like this: What kind of approach might have made you achieve the results you were expecting? Every business is different and there is no better judge than you to assess your current situation. In short, keep moving on.

Cheers

I can't stress enough the importance of stopping the blame game. Blaming others can get you stuck in the past. You have to own your situation. At the same time holding on to the negativity and continuing to hate ( and blame) yourself for your mistakes won't help you clear your mind and get into that positive action mindset where you start figuring out ways to improve your situation.

Not everyone will succeed the very first time - it's all about trial and error.

But you should be learning a lesson from your mistakes and correcting them for the future.

That's the thing. A person learns from his/her mistakes. Your business is a journey which most of the time is not a smooth ride. But whatever difficulties you encounter along the way you end up finding some way out of it to progress your dreams. That should be the goal behind every inspiring entrepreneur.

Failure happens in plenty of different shapes and sizes.

I fail heaps every day and as long as you learn from it and grow then this is good and really helpful for your long term business.

If you have a business plan at least and you have a bit of a strategy it's going to help alot rather than just flying by the seat of your pants.

Plenty of people fail due to lack of planning.

Lack of planning is just like driving a car with your eyes covered. You will get hit by obstacles every now and then until you are exhausted. Therefore a strategy even if it takes you to failure can teach you a life lesson worth remembering.

I also recommend people listen to people like les brown...

When you fail, you're going to feel bad for awhile and that's ok. What matters is getting back on your feet and trying again and again until you do succeed.

That's what makes you a winner.

I think more than 95% of of successful persons nowadays failed in some kind business before they became successful. The important lesson is not to make the same mistake twice.

Well that's the core point. Why make a mistake and not learn from it. Ignorance is a main force behind unsuccessful people in every aspect of human life. Therefore it's better to evolve with whatever your shortcomings are into an individual that's more resilient to competition. It's a simple philosophy.

      Cheers

What would you do if you were gunned down and left completely blind, permanently, while in your prime, barely out of college, had a wife and baby daughter to support?

    Well, here's what I did:

And, what would you do if the global financial crisis wiped out almost all your large contracts?

    Well, here's what I did:

BBC World Service - Business Daily, The Blind Entrepreneur Building a Call Centre Empire

I guess that's what I do - I look for opportunities in spite of adversities.

Marx first I want to appreciate you for your courage to withstand all the adversities in your life and proving yourself better than people who just simply talk and don't do anything when the time comes. I joined this forum to look out for inspiration and I can confidently say that I have found one today. Bravo.

I think one of the BIGGEST things that will hold someone back is having a victim mentality. If you think the worlds out to get you and that everyone or everythings against you... it's just a one way ticket to failure.
