He,

I did a lot of freelancing, consulting about webdesign and marketing but i'm now looking to do something zen, you know meaning simple, repetitive, no headache, just things to do again and again..

I have a lot of experience with computer, can do mostly anything but i don't want to handle clients anymore..

I was thinking about a blog that review the wso and other tools for marketers that i would be monetizing with affiliate link but i'm open to suggestion before i go full blast in.

so any suggestion ?

thanks guy

  • Why not? Here's an additional idea. You should submit here or somewhere else your first test blog. Just to see what kind of a response you can expect. This can be a great way to get some feedback about your blog. You mentioned that is intended for marketers in the first place. Right? So, why not? Good luck!
  • Sounds like a great idea.

I heard about someone before that actually created a membership site about testing WSO's and sharing his results.

    Could be very profitable.
  • Hmm, what you're proposing doesn't sound very repetitive, to me at least, since you would have to review different products every period. However, I would definitely go the affiliate marketing route, since once you have your funnels, email followups, and tracking all set up, you can just pay for traffic and analyze data, making a tweak here and there.... in a perfect world :-)

  • Hi Yvon,

You've done a lot of consulting about web design and marketing so you must have a list of the top 5 to 10 questions people repeatedly asked you about when you were freelancing.

Make one or more products, could be reports, could be video training etc that answer those questions and solve the problem for the questioner.

Set up a simple opt-in page with a form where you offer to provide the answer to the enquiry.

After they submit their question and provide their email address they get taken to a simple sales page where they can buy your solution.

You can retarget them and also follow-up with automated emails if they don't buy.

If you set up a filter within the form it is easy to send them to a question specific sales page where the product that matches their solution is available.

Set up the fulfilment system and then you are pretty much set to go on autopilot.

Then send traffic to the first page in the sequence.

    Best regards,

    Ozi
  • You can create review sites and earn affiliate commissions. You can create review sites about products that you can find at ClickBank, Amazon etc. Apart from this you can create a review blog as well - a place dedicated for reviewing products - the comments on the blog can act as testimonials.
  • I am not seeing the "Zen" in any of these answers

  • Kindle Marketing might be good. It takes ALOT of groundwork and time to be successful, but no clients to deal with, only if you outsource some of the work. I honestly would not say this is the best way. I am doing it now and seeing small sales, so I know in a few months after I have more books up it should be autopilot income.

Im not looking for autopilot though, but most internet marketing, website building methods are the way you are looking for I believe. Just working for yourself, thats why I do this and hustle all day.

Having a website for IM / Make Money Online tips is also a great plan, and selling your guides on there
  • If you can do this work, of course it would better for you. In this way, you will be able to earn a good amount of money. So you should try to do more valuable & goods works where you can get interest. Thanks for your advance.
  • I can help with that:

  • Better create review blogs, that will work well and you can earn good affiliate commission.

  • The "Rinse and Repeat" formula is indeed Simple to understand.

but requires Your Attention, not a quick rich scheme.

Its about Building an Email List around a topic you choose, then provide value, then advertise high quality products you trust and you tested before.

Building an Email List requires TRAFFIC: and there are lot of ways to have it, which divides in 2 branches, FREE and PAYED traffic.

Go for payed traffic, without any investement there's no business at all.

    So build you List!
  • Btw, who is this Zen guy ??

  • Have you considered a career in the fast food service industry? It is perfectly Zen - "simple, repetitive, no headache, just things to do again and again"!

  • I like this idea. A lot.
  • I think for zen you would be better off picking a topic you enjoy and blogging about it.

This way you can spend your time on the computer--writing about what you like.

Of course, you would or could monetize it with adsense or affiliate programs.

At least, it won't feel much of a work, right? More zen...
