How do i create custom images...

Hi,

How do I create an image like this:
http://i0.wp.com/www.buzzblogger.com...size=559%2C294

with pattern and text, it looks quite simple in fact but I cannot find a decent pattern.

What tools? Where to get background images?

Thanks

You can make that entire image in Photoshop in around 5 minutes.

P.S. Additionally, while I don't condone lifting images, that is so incredibly basic, that if you did steal it, I doubt anyone could or would complain. lol Go to Fiverr and get something like it made for $5.

There is no 'free' in life. Time is money. If you don't know what you're doing, go to Fiverr, spend $5 to get what you need and then move on with your life. lol

canva.com is completely free and he'll get much better images than what he'll get for $5 from Fiver

Not if he doesn't know what he's doing, which appears to be the case.

I've gotten incredible graphics on Fiverr for $5 to $10.

Creating a graphic like this --actually, one that would be better than this-- would cost him nothing in canva.com

In contrast, in Fiverr he'll end up spending more than $5 because most of the graphics he'll get there will be pure rubbish.

tried canva but I couldn't find appropriate images/patters/backgrounds although I have a dozen sites for free images.

Where I go to get images free or paid doesn't matter.

You will probably pay more for one image at iStock than you (at the risk of repeating myself) will pay to complete your project on Fiverr.

That said, I won't mention it, again. This issue could be ancient history by now, but I'll just assume you'd rather debate than get something accomplished. Good luck with that.

If you're that hard-up to save $5 - I'll be happy to create that for you at no cost - if it will end this thread! lol

Nope. I have simply learned how to manage my time, which I can never replace. The $5 I would spend getting what I need on Fiverr I can make back in minutes.

If you don't know how to do something and you need it NOW, you can't beat Fiverr. The OP did not say he wants to learn how to be a graphic designer. He's looking for one image.

Doesn't want to learn design - knows what he wants - wants it now = FIVERR!!!

Feel free to continue to beat this dead horse.

Canva is a great place to start and there are lots of free images to use. Stencil (getstencil.com) is also another good option -they offer a free package of 10 images per month.

If you need free images why not use something like pixabay.com or unsplash.com - there are thousands of images and you can remove the $ images by uploading your own.

Here's an article with 15 free image sites :

with imagemagick, it could take less than 5 seconds to process far more complicated graphics than what the original poster has referred to, so it boils down to personal preferences. canva, is sure, useful for those who prefer UI based tools

I have used and recommend Canva personally over almost all other.

I have a couple guys I use for custom graphics that I originally found off of upwork.

They work for like $5 per hour and have years of experience and have never failed to deliver quickly and cheaply.

When you are first starting out, it is probably worth learning how to do basic stuff and have the resources, be it paid or free.

Then have someone you can rely on for anything that is beyond what you can do, but will do it for cheap. This is also important once your time becomes worth much more than what it costs to have someone else do it for.

Why not get Paint.net and do it yourself? This took me a couple of minutes
The biggest time consumer is picking the fonts to approximate the ones in the original.
I didn't do much fine tuning, and it shows.
Paint.net gives you a lot of features you can use like cropping, rotating, layers.

I use Canva, and have been using it for over 1 year. It's free (with an option to upgrade if you want), but free is just as good. It doesn't take long either. That's what I'd recommend. For free images I use pexels.com and the free images on Canva.

Damn, exactly what I wanted to say For posters as simple as the one in the example is kinda a waste to spend even a $5 when you can create it in 5 or 10 minutes in Paint or Powerpoint.
