Ever have an insane desire to get 100K people to visit your site?

What would you DO with them... even if they did?

Well, 1 site that gets a whole bleepload more than 100K viewers wrote up the best guide for that at

I like this in particular:

"If your goal is to get 100,000 people to see your post, then you need to pick a topic that a lot more than 100,000 people are interested in."

Get that LOT MORE?

ie, if you get 100K people to know about your post...

that does NOT mean 100K people view it!!

Now this part:

"Think of a highway with thousands of cars on it. Its a lot easier to build an off-ramp and siphon some of that traffic off of the highway than to build a whole new unconnected road and try to get cars to drive to it."

Seriously... that is pure *gold*.

And that's only 1/10th of the post itself.

    Great post, I like the part in the post to think long term. How many people will say 80 days for a blog post to reach 100k viewers is not fast enough. Followed by my Guru makes 100k overnight with his push button system.
