What WSO Or Coach Made You The Most Money Here?

Okay... spill the beans here and tell your story.

What was the best WSO or coach you hired here that made you the most money or taught you what you needed to know to go on to be successful?

First my story... I have had multiple WSO's that have helped me over the years and a lot of failures. I have spent thousands of dollars in both WSO's and coaching that have helped me make a lot of money but unfortunately the methods were short lived as things change rapidly and stuff that used to work stop working or the ROI in either money or time make it not worth while.

Some of the things that made me money:

1) Adsense artbitrage (did great with this until google slapped)
2) Affiliate marketing using press releases (press releases got more expensive and ranking changes killed this)
3) Affiliate marketing posting on craigslist (a lot more difficult due to ghosting and flagging even though I limited the amount I used to post to stay under the radar)
4) Kindle publishing (did great with this until my genre of stories got slapped and most books were removed)

I'm in kind of a rut now and would appreciate hearing anyone else experiences either here or on other forums that have helped them recently in achieving some success online. Either via coaching or by a specific program.

Thanks,

TedK

  • I bought about 30 WSO.

The WSO is literally where i've learned internet marketing.

This is why I laugh every time I see people someone saying that the WSO section is a scam....It's just not true at all.

These people are getting banned these days anyways though.

    • You are very right. WSO is actually a great place to pick up something and develop on and many may just go about the application wrongly and not every one will get the same result. I'm not saying this because I run WSO but I have seen many people confess to have learnt a lot from WSOs.

And on the sig promotion issue, it's like killing two birds with one stone for us. If it's as bad as you think then WF should ban the use of sig, period. I see other members intimidating others because they are good writers and nothing else and condemning post that are valuable all because the posted have a sig. Its allowed, it's allowed and there is nothing you guys can do about it other than reporting. If the admin deem it necessaey for removal then they will do.

Sorry deviating from the theme of the thread. I just felt this should be address and am sorry am tying from my phone.
    • Yes, while there are some that are rehashed and a few just out and out scams I have foud some nuggets over these years as well.

And I think Freelancer has done a real good job at cleaning the WSO Section up. No more hyped up bullsh@t, no more getting your WSO approved and then just going back to reedit ( they took Edit function out) with bullsh@t to scam people.

Call me a sentimental old fart, but Iam kind of feeling the WSO has a promising future.

Just need to get the Traffic up. It's a ghost town anymore

  • I can understand both sides of the argument.

On the one hand I think 99% of WSO's are useless, But that's because I know better. Most of the info inside them are created by someone who bought a WSO on how to sell WSO's. So you get a never ending cycle of crap in and crap out.

However there are some WSO's that can hold their own. And at the end of the day I know most WSO's are useless for me, but they might be beneficial to someone who is a total noob.

Unfortunately I don't think those noobs will see any real success buying WSO's, but if that's what it takes for them to get their feet wet and get them interested in learning... so be it.

  • Every WSO that I've used has made me money either directly or indirectly.

While there are some duds, I think the reason for many failures is shiny object syndrome and basic mindset issues.

As far as not so good ones, one was a PLR product from several years ago word for word. It listed some resources that were no longer in existence because of the age of the material. There is nothing wrong with PLR, per se, but claiming it as your own creation and then not even double checking links and such smells scammy. I didn't use this one.

Another one was full of good information but if followed exactly, could get your FB account banned. This was a case of 99% good and 1% bad since there are workarounds I suppose. But besides the potential account ban, the sales letter didn't mention CPA. If it did, I wouldn't have even bothered since I know nothing about CPA but my experience as a consumer leads me to not want to get involved with it.

I think the biggest problem I've seen is lack of completeness. You just simply aren't going to learn all you need to know about email marketing in 20 minutes worth of video or 13 pages. But then, it's hard to expect much for $7. If the sales letter promises the world, though, they better deliver the world.

But overall, the ones I've seen have information that can help if they are used according to instructions.

  • I have learned a lot from buying from a few WSO's here. But you have to be very selective who you buy from. gjabiz (now known as Gordon J) has put out some simple stuff that is excellent. Import Export, Susan (No longer here) Sojourn, Wolffime (pardon the spelling) have all had excellent WSO's that have been a great help. A few others that I'm forgetting but also provided great value.

You want to be careful some WSO's do not work, remember locale with the groupon deal or another Warrior member that failed to delivered what he promised were banned from here. Not everything is helpful.
  • Hi Ted long time no see on the WF

I think one of the most common ways of making money is drying up and that is because of Ad blockers!
I have not see any adsence ads in ages and same with You Tube and Face book ads have dropped considerably

People need to evolve with their marketing and ways of MMO niche to survive now...

  • Hey there well done of making some money, but you lack the basic quality in MMO

    You didn't adapt....

not being mean just what i see from the above statement!

    • No hard feelings. That's what this post is about. Discussing what has made you money or a success or hardships over the years with either a great coach or a great WSO.

I was telling my story to show that even though I made quite a bit of money I still struggle due to continuous changes on the various platforms I made money with and didn't adapt.

My biggest issue is time constraints so I normally gravitate to systems that don't take much time to implement but can give me a very decent ROI. Unfortunately these are normally the one's that a here today and gone tomorrow :-( .

I'd say a particular done for you funnel WSO was what helped me most around here. I just checked the WSO section to see if I could dig it up but couldn't.

I will make some research and look for link and paste it here. But I doubt if the guys involved with that particular WSO still offer the service.

If I'm able to dig it up, I will report back here with the link.

  • Although I've never bought coaching, I would say that my "coach" would be Barb Ling as she answered all my newby questions and helped me release my first product on W+.

    • I agree if only I could ever get her to answer my PM's lol
She just does not check them at all

Which is fine. There is no Law on that
  • ive made money from:

    pre panda and penguin:
    hub pages (bum marketing)
    amazon review sites

    post caring about SEO:
    pinterest marketing
    youtube marketing
    email marketing

truth be told, ive never bought a 'bad' WSO...

I always read reviews and made informed choices

all my failures were on me.. and even those failures weren't really failures..

i learned a ton each and every time.

look.... whatever you buy it's the same ol' story..

That's it! I don't care if you're getting free traffic from Pinterest on a baby shower board or if your advertising on the back page of your city's trout fishing magazine.

You gotta know who you're talking to, what you're selling, what you're saying (this bridges customer & product), where it's being said and you gotta know you're conversion rates!

    best of luck

  • My current revenue sharing business program makes me the most money in my 9 years of Internet Marketing. To be honest I have given up completely all forms of Internet Marketing relating to Google Traffic to survive an online business. In summary I stopped Google Adsense, Amazon promotions, blogging, and soloads. It was a wise decision as I have made $55K in the last 8 months and now earn $600 daily and support a small group of new marketers and guide them to similar success.

    • I share the same experiences as Peter. Only 2 powerful Revenue Sharing programs made me the most people. Adsense, cpa and blogging made me peanuts and got scammed by 3 Coaches in here. So now focusing on the 2 Revenue Sharing programs with bitcoin as teh payment processor as Bitcoin's price is set to soar in 2017.

  • The best coach who essentially taught me everything I know how to do with Internet Marketing has definitely been Frank Kern. I never had him as a personal coach, but through his coaching products learned the ins and outs of affiliate marketing!

  • The most money I ever made from a WSO was one that I sold. If you want to make money online, stop buying and start selling.

    • So true and that's where a quality coach who really cares about your success is worth their weight in gold. Some of the most money I've made has been with the help of coaching to shorten the learning curve and to save on mistakes that you are bound to make.
