If we had the answer to that question everyone on the forum would probably be retired by now. Taking something free like that which works so perfectly would be scaled into trillions of dollars by each of us if it existed.
Unfortunately slow and steady is what it takes to win the internet race. Promoting your own infographics which are watermarked to your URL and related to your subject over social media would be the closest thing I could think of, but your still going to have to work really hard.

It will take you time, but if you can do this it will be a gold mine.

Depending on your niche, I'd say Camera facing videos on Youtube is your best way of obtaining high converting, free traffic. However, creating quality videos is going to take time - you're going to need to do keyword research in order to optimise your videos and you're going to need people liking (or watching the entire of your videos) for Youtube to cross promote you organically.

Everyone had different answers, I observed, and rightfully so because every niche is unique in driving traffic, especially if it is very competitive. I personally learnt that the hard way (especially if you are a newbie). I did what everybody said, from paid to free traffic. In the end, I spent thousands driving traffic and made peanuts ROI.

I have been on every wagon that people mentioned on how to get "free traffic" and conversion, and they did not work.

So I am sticking to the organic way of the search engines, and bloggers like Neil Patel, who always has interesting article on every topic for traffic.

I will provide a different perspective to all that has been said in this thread. It is not because they are wrong or not, because all the mechanism mentioned here work if you invest time and wait long enough. But if you need to have quick effective traffic, I would say paid advertising is the way to go..

Yeah, I know you said Free traffic. humm. The word Free is relative you know? Let me explain:

If you spend 60 hours working on a "free marketing campaing" making one sale (1 conversion), your conversion cost you 60h times <your $ per hour >. (Lets say you value your time cheap: $10/h), then it will cost you $600.

If you spend $100 on making a paid advertising and you make one sale (1 conversion), your conversion cost you $100

If you are making $100 in the sell of your product, then you lost $500 in the Free method and made 0 dollars with the second method, but covering the cost of the advertising.

Looking into the numbers, the "free" method cost you $500, the paid method was FREE.

There are good things on the free method that are not mentioned in here. Normally when you do free methods (other than SEO that needs to be maintained almost every week as search engines change algorithms and there are more offers in the market) you leave virtual assets that will be there for years, and potentially people will see one of your assets and probably buy from it. The more assets you spread around the higher the possibility to get more customers. So your work tends to be accumulative.

In the case of paid ads once the ad expires, it is gone. However if you are collecting emails, those emails are now Free advertising.. Well really every time you send an offer to them your cost per offer will be less and less (if you paid 1 dollar per email and has sent 10 offers, the cost per impression is 10 cents, if you send 100 offers, the cost per impression is 1 cent)

As you might see, paid ads is a better way of advertising, if you collect emails. And also your paid advertising can be free if it converts. And that is what you want right?

And of course if non of your paid and free ads converts, then you are in loss. Then you need to think again your niche, target, message and landing pages

First 10-15 optins in 1000 is not something that will generate you success. You may need to tweak your landing page. You need about 50% conversion rates. (500 in 1000). You definitely want to get to that level.
