My 1000th Post: Step By Step To Success! (REALLY) - Take ACTION!

Hey warriors, how are you all today? Well, this is going to be my 1000Th post
and boy will I make it a good one! You see this forum has provided me with
some of the best information online and some of the best, most experienced
marketers and entrepreneur's that I have come across in my online journey.
I feel it's time to give back and give back in a good way! I want this post to
be epic and of course I want it to help you in one way or another! I really
would love your input into this thread and I will gladly take praise or any
faults/feedback you have.


What I am going to provide to you today is one way to make money online
step by step, process by process! I do warn you now this is going to be a long
thread and as I am writing this, I'm thinking how long this will take me, but
you know what anything worthwhile to help you guys will take time & effort!!


But one thing I must say to you before we get into this is this: You will NOT make
any money surfing FB all day and searching for the "next big thing". There is no
next big thing, there is however a very lucrative business to be made


There is no need to write some bullshit, let's just get right into it ok!


STEP ONE:


So, for this step you need to pick your niche and ideally have some sort of idea what product your going to be selling or being an affiliate for. Yes that's right you can do either with what I am going to be teaching you. Just like each step in the process you need to spend time researching and putting into action the key elements that you need to get the job done! A lot of people won't
do the research properly and then they will fail right from the beginning!


There are many, many markets that you can go into, but do yourself a favour
and go into one that is already producing sales and that has customers with
their credit cards already in hand! Some examples of these markets include
health and fitness, wealth, dating/relationships and self help. By choosing one
of these markets, you have already done half the research. Now, you need to
find a niche.


Let's go through a few examples:

===> Losing belly fat for women over 40
===> Making money online with amazon affiliate marketing
===> How to get back my ex girlfriend
===> How to cure hemorrhoid's


These are all example of niches within markets. You just need to figure out
what niche you want to attack, but remember this. The more ultra targeted
and the more hungry a niche is, the more money you will make, end of story!!
Really spend the time trying to figure out what niche you want to attack, but do
bear in mind some keys things.


For example if your going into the health and fitness market, you do need to be aware that people that don't have the right qualifications or expertise shouldn't really be giving advice on how to lose weight etc. This is geared more towards for example if you have a blog. However, we are not creating a blog here, we are doing something different.


But I have seen and there will continue to be some repercussions for marketers that try and promote or even sell health products without the proper credit or expertise to back it up. That's one thing I wanted to mention. The other thing I want to mention is If you decide to go into the wealth market, you really need to cover yourself properly and have all the right policies and disclaimers in place!.

If your stuck on choosing your niche, I will now give you some guidance on how you can research and chose your niche. Let's just take one example market and then find a niche within it ok? Ok, so my example market is the wealth market. The first thing you can do is simple. You would begin to brainstorm some niches you think would be in this
market, for example: make money with surveys, forex trading, blogging.....


Then you will need to go to google and make sure people are searching for stuff and you also need to use your common sense. Of course there are millions of bloggers online, so for this specific niche, you would want to research at a deeper level. Something like blogging tools or best themes for bloggers. Do you see where I am coming from.


Do your research, keep it simple, but put a lot of effort into this, because this will make or breakyour campaigns and results.


STEP TWO:


Ok, so you have gone through and chosen your niche that you want to get into. I hope you have spent some real good time of this because it's so important. Next, you want to chose your traffic source. Well, I have done that already for this guide I am going to be talking about using YouTube as your primary traffic source. Let's back track a bit here.


There is no point wasting time and money on traffic sources that don't work. I am sorry to tell you but click farms and mobile traffic hit sites don't work. Why waste all that time and resource when you can start off on the right foot and already use a traffic source that is proven to work for thousands of people online and always will do in the future!. Time to start working smarter!


I know, I know I can hear a few people screaming now, "but YouTube takes work, ranking video's etc" Well, my response to that is WELCOME TO THE REAL WORK, TO MAKE A REAL BUSINESS!!. I am sorry but if you want instant traffic and instant sales, then this online business is not for you! Of
course you need to learn how to use this traffic source and when you do, boy will you see results.


I also hear some of you saying, but my channel can get banned or YouTube can take my video down. Well, yes that can happen but if your thinking and worrying about that even before you have taken action, then my friend your mindset is wrong and you will never make any money anyways!! If my
channel get's taken down, ill build a new one.


If my video get taken down, ill find out why and I will adapt those changes to my future video's...this is the mindset you need!


There are many ways to create video's


===> Pay someone on Fiverr to do it for you
===> Use free software such as Microsoft expression encoder 4 screen capture
===> Use the screen capture software and an external mic (starts from $12)
===> Your iPhone or if you have a digital camera (yes iPhone works really well)
===> If you have a budget hire a professional company to make BIG videos!


There is no excuse you can do this totally free, all you need is a good mindset and of course to take freaking action. Once you have uploaded your video, you need to do some basic SEO, you know the usual stuff like keyword in the title, description etc. In terms of tags I have learn't you don't need to stuff tags. You need to add RELEVANT TAGS.


Only use tags that are necessary and it also helps to use tags of other YouTube channels name in the same niche as yours! One key thing I want you to spend time on is creating a custom thumbnail! The way I find
successful thumbnails I can model, is simply look at the video's with high views and really analyse the key elements in the design. 80% of views come from the initial look at the thumbnail trust me!


You can make free quality thumbnails by using Canva. They even have
a ready made template for you to use! FANTASTIC HEY!


Next, you need to make sure your video is of quality because this will enable longer view time, more shares and engagement and then you will rank higher in google and in YouTube! It's simple, keep it simple. You also need to think about external links and engagement. Build a few quality links and what I do is even create a little mini site on blogger.com/weebly.com and wordpress.com then link back to my video. Give Google what they want and use high power,
high ranking domain to do this. It's easy!!!


Don't however buy stupid fake views or those fiverr gigs that promise 10,000 shares, you will find out that this doesn't work. Well, let me back track here a bit what I was ment to say is don't get those packages promising 5000 views. There is a smart way to buy views, you will be totally fine sending a couple of hundred drip feed views to your video to give it an initial
boost and this will also help with ranking better!


One more piece of advice I can give you is this. People need to be told what to do, so in your video's tell them to click the link or subscribe to your channel, but you need to do this in a way that is both subtle but forceful to get results. Don't scream subscribe at the beginning of your video wait till your conclusion and then say something like "For more quality information coming soon,
be sure to subscribe so you don't miss out". People hate feeling like they have missed something .


===> So yes YouTube will be your traffic source, there is a few more things to do on YouTube, but I will cover those things and tie them into the next sections ok?

STEP THREE:


Ok, so you have chosen your product/niche and you have determined your traffic source!! You next need to create your landing page. Yes I know it's simple, but it works.


You will send people from your YouTube video to your landing page. For maximum benefit you will need your link at the beginning of the video description and in the video itself if you can!


For a high converting landing pages you will need to include the following:


===> A strong benefit rife headline
===> Sub heading that reinforces the main headline
===> Bullet points that address more benefits and really back up what your saying
===> A strong call to action and use arrows as this works well
===> Make sure to have the privacy statement and relevant link
===> Use colours wisely and think how they will provoke emotion (for example blue is trust)
===> You need to learn how to bring it all together!


You really do need to spend some time on this and make sure your producing a killer landing page. With every step in this process, I spend a lot of time on it and I do it to the best of my ability so should you! Another thing you want to pay attention to is keeping everything relevant! Through each step the visitor takes they need to feel like they are going through a journey!


Don't have your YouTube video about taking surveys online when your product is about affiliate marketing for example. Do you see what I mean? Keep it relevant!.There are many ways you can produce landing pages. You could use clickfunnels, leadpages, instapage profit builder and instabuilder just to name a few. Of course it will take time to learn and you will have to test 2 or 3 different landing pages, but that is what this online stuff is about.


Heck my first landing page converted at 14% and then my next one 26% and now I have learned what I takes and I get my landing page opt in to over 65% . Did I do this in one day?


No it took me a good couple of months to figure out and work on this!
With your landing page you need to convince people to trust you and what to find out more about what your selling. In return for their email address you will be giving them a FREE piece of content this is called your lead magnet! So, I am finding out more and more that people are loving video
lead magnets as oppose to pdf and reports.


Of course they still work, but in the future video lead magnets
are going to take over I can assure you! So for example in one niche that I am in, I have done this. I found out what product I wanted to promote.
It's a self help product, I made a YouTube video based upon the topic of this product and then I send people to my landing page and offer them a lead magnet. Now, my YouTube video was just a general helpful, video
on my product topic, but for my lead magnet I created a video about something ultra specific that was congruent with my product I have.


This does really well because I have kept my topic relevant and I am taking
them on a journey, as I get towards my product promotion, I am adding more and more value and getting more and more relevant .


===> Relevancy is king remember that!
Here are some key elements of a good lead magnet:
==> Be very specific and focus on one thing
==> Find a balance of how long it is. Too short and they will be pissed off, too long and they won't digest it
==> ADD MASSIVE VALUE
==> You need to learn how to set them up for the next piece of the puzzle (ill explain in later sections)
==> Make it easy for them to access!


Ok so after your visitor has opted in for your awesome lead magnet, they will then be re directed to a low cost front end offer called a tripwire offer or low cost offer! Let's move onto the next section.


STEP FOUR:


Ok so one of the most important things online and in this campaign is to turn your visitor into a customer as soon as you can! This is where the tripwire offer comes in. I have been having success with tripwire offers in
one of my niches and I sell that tripwire offer for $4.99.


The conversion is excellent because it's worth more than that and the price is low so it converts. People spend more on a coffee then this. However, the money really is to just try and recoup some traffic costs, but more importantly I have gotten someone to make a purchase!


The first purchase is gold and then it is easier to make future sales trust me!! . I hear you cry what should you offer for a tripwire offer? Well, there are many options. You can send them a physical gift or have a huge
discount on a specific item or you can even have them access a premium video course, the possibilities are endless.


You will need to be create and think of awesome things you can offer for this part. You will be surprised at the conversion rate of this, especially if you really put a lot of thought into it. There are offers like this all around us
in the real world, people just don't pay attention to them, they just buy them!


I know, this is probably one of the harder things to produce but if you really can't produce these offers, you can always find someone that will
for a fee of course!!


===>DONT BE SCARED TO SELL RIGHT OFF THE BAT, IT'S EASY THAN YOU THINK....


STEP FIVE:


So, from your tripwire offer being exposed to your potential customer, they are two paths that they will take They will buy the tripwire offer or decline it. If they decline it then they will be generated into your follow up series but if they purchase it, they will then be re directed to a more expensive paid offer! This is your main offer.


You will then be surprised how many people will buy this, because they are still hot off the press buying your awesome tripwire offer that they will want to buy your main product also. Now, if they decline this, it's ok this is then when
they go into your follow up series.


One important thing to note here is make sure your still keeping relevant! Your lead magnet, tripwire offer and main product all need to compliment each other otherwise the system will break down and i personally don't like fixing
the system lol. Of course you have too sometimes but you know what I mean!


There is no point having your lead magnet be a dog training video, then your tripwire offer a baby hat and then your main product be a dog bowl. I can hear
you laughing but you will be surprised how many marketers do this and don't even know what they are doing.


Then whatever path your visitor takes they will end up getting follow up messages. I am not going to go into how to write follow ups or anything about email marketing because my aim with this post was to highlight to you the key
step by step things you need to do to make money! There is so much information in this forum about email marketing and i could help some people with that in comments but this is the system that makes money!
