Any suggestions on how I can promote my men's fashion blog on a limited budget?

I've been working on my blog for the past year or so whilst being a uni student and have only made around a little over $10 through affiliate commissions or eBay commissions.

I basically pick out clothes from various online stores based in Australia or international brands that ship to Australia and post my picks on the blog as often as I can.

I've tried promoting through facebook (mainly), twitter, instagram, forums and reddit. With facebook I've tried doing paid promotions on individual posts to get likes and clicks through to my facebook page and website. While I've gotten clicks and likes through those paid promotions, none of them have actually converted in any sales/commissions. I've tried tweaking the cities I target (researched which cities in Australia spend the most on online shopping, particularly for fashion) and based my targeting on people who are interested in local brands.

Would anyone have any suggestions on what else I can try to promote my fashion blog? Or if anyone who has a similar blog and can possibly chime in, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd really love to earn from this while being a student as this is something that actually interests me and I care about, but just get a little discouraged at times that I've barely been able to earn from it and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

A few things off the top of my head:

    - Have you reached out to other mens fashion bloggers, vloggers or male instagram models? Guest posts, shout outs etc. will bring their audience to you

    - Your logo is a little squished, fix and re-upload

    - There is no opt-in for email subscribers, for a newsletter etc.

    - Your blog posts aren't very inventive, you list pictures and prices with links but no extra information. Why not change things up by hiring some freelance writers to write creative blog posts for you? For example, it's Christmas, you could come up with something like 10 Most Handsome Xmas Jumpers For The Holidays.

Study the blog posts of successful mens fashion outlets, for example, on Topman's blog you'll find how-tos, tips, styles - written content alongside images and links. Style Bakery is also something that could spark a creative writing idea, for example, off the top of my head, a recipe styled blog post eg. x1 Dark Mens Blue ___ Shirt
x1 Pale Orange Tie From ___ at __ .. make it fun and interesting

Studying content marketing might be a good way for you to go.

    - Involve yourself in Facebook groups to do with mens fashion in AU - Don't heavily self promote but join in conversations, it will also be a good place for inspiration for content ideas

    - Reach out to independent Tshirt and accessories stores etc. in AUS and see if they'd be interested in featuring on your website. Ultimately, if they say yes, the likelihood of them sharing their post on their own social medias is high. Go for audience reach to boost general awareness.

    - Utilise the fact that you're at university - I'm betting there are fashion/design students hanging around, right? If not them, at least some of your target audience, right? So - ask them their honest opinion of your website and get feedback. There's nothing better than feedback from your target audience, it will be really helpful for you to understand how to engage them.

Create some consistent videos on Youtube and try to get traffic through there. You can also try their paid ads.

1st of all - You need to redesign your Blog.
Find out some similar blog & take some about design.
FB is always good for promotion, but you need the Good target.
You can try YouTube ads also. That convert high for Tee-shirt business now.

Search google for mens fashion forums and post (don't spam) your link or sig link. Forums are always a cheap way to get traffic to a new site and also build links at the same time.

Knowing how to start a fashion blog and make it truly awesome means following these basic steps.

1.Get a sick domain name and your own host
Please, please, please don't start your blog on Tumblr or Blogger. Those things are promotional tools for your main blog or website. If you want to truly grow a brand and make a business out of your fashion blog you want your own domain name and blog hosting in order to start a WordPress blog. Most of the best sites do it this way.

2.Find out why you are fabulous first
As I said in the intro-mumbo-jumbo, you really need to know why you are different. There are millions of fashion blogs out there and unless you do something differently you are going to get lost in all the noise. You don't want that.
3.Publish the most incredible content your brain can manage
Once your blog is all set up and running don't just publish lame crap that you type out in five minutes and hit publish because you want to go out and drink lattes. Blogging is hard work. Sometimes I take two or three days to write one blog post. You have to make your brain work really damn hard.
    4.Network, network, network
Make friends. Lots of them. Make friends with your readers and make friends with other bloggers that are already way more awesome than you and might be able to give you a helping hand. This means growing a mailing list and it means being active on places like Google+.
And now you are successful and famous!

For low budgets, I always recommend Instagram Shout-outs. And this could work pretty well for you because fashion is one of those areas where Instagram rocks.

Instagram; Twitter and Pinterest are great for promoting that niche.

With any visual product (like fashion) social platforms like Pinterest and Instagram do very well for vendors. Also, most people won't buy on the first viewing, you need either a static optin
box or a popup on your blog to capture email addresses.

Personally, I think you can add some video in your website to promote your products. If you can find any influencer who willing to wear your product, that will be awesome.
