Other banner programs besides AdSense

Hi,

What are the best banner programs for a site besides AdSense?

Ones that are trustworthy, good customer service, provide good content in relation to the page's content & easy to setup.

    Like many other areas, Google has a firm monopoly on ad space. I've tried Media.net, Chitika, and Infolinks. They can all generate revenue, but in my experience the EPC is peanuts compared to Adsense. =(

      Just so others know my experience, infolinks is TERRIBLE. I was with them for years (from the beginning actually), then one day they decided to close my account with NO warning.

      They claimed I was violating some TOC & I suspected it was b/c of my adult sites (I had both mainstream & adult), but THEY were the ones that approved the sites in the first place. You can't even add a site WITHOUT their approval, so they went against their OWN TOC & then blamed me instead of taking responsibility for their mistake.

      They also NEVER sent any e-mail saying their TOC had been adjusted or that just those sites had to be removed.

      They stole my money & others have had issues as well that have nothing to do with my experience.

    Media.net is a horrible company. They will give you good cash for first one or two weeks. After that your earning will drop to zero. Terrible program. Keep distance from it. You can use native ad networks, which works great as a Google AdSense alternative.

        There are many native ad networks available online like Taboola, Outbrain, revcontent, Nativeads etc. you can join any of them.

          I'm sure I can join all of them, but I prefer to join ones that people have done well with & aren't scammy like infolinks is.

    I'm not familiar with Chitka and Adnitz. Could someone explain the differences between the five platforms listed (Medianet, Infolinks), and how they differ from Adsense, or point me to a source that describes these in more detail? I'm just getting involved in promoting and selling different info products.

    Medianet is fine for some niches. Sometimes you might even do better in certain niches with them. You have to test. Also good thing is that you can use it alongside Google Adsense.

      In the end I FINALLY got my new Adsense account up & running.

      It took forever as it seems that things aren't the way they used to be when I got my first account back in, I am guessing 2006. I don't even remember when it was, that's how long ago it was

      On the plus side, I'm FINALLY getting my sites (I have a lot of them that aren't eCommerce, just blogs about important issues) slowly converted over to a responsive WP theme. It's best if you add a T&C & Privacy policy even if it's not an eCommerce site.

      I found a good inexpensive paid plugin/theme that helps you to design the site pretty easily, & the owner is working on implementing new features all the time. He's a nice guy if anyone wants the name of it.

      And the FB group members are VERY helpful. I sometimes get responses to my questions within 2 mins. if you can believe that & they aren't paid, they are just other people using the same product

      Very strange that you "ASSUME" that I don't follow rules.

      Let me guess, you are a rule follower that thinks anyone with a mind of their own or who thinks that many rules are unfair just have it coming, right?
