Starting a New Membership Site: Which Platform/Template Should I Use?

I'm starting a new membership site offering monthly services. I'm not a web designer nor do I have a web designer. So where can I find a platform/template to create my own membership site?

  • You can go through what Joomla is, see how you can make a membership site via Joomla,
    Other CMS's like Drupal also can be used.
    Or a simple WordPress blog with a membership plugin also might do the trick.

    It just depends on your needs in complexity of the system.

      While the best solution out there, IMHO, few will pay what is costs. The closer to 'free' the better. It's that pauper's mentality that keeps people from actually making any money.

  • Amember is great for membership sites.
  • I'm a big fan of OP Member.
    It was simple to setup the Members Area and Lesson Pages.

    But what really did it for me was the way it integrated with SamCart.
    People can access my products securely after the purchase.

    There are 10 membership levels but it also includes a 'package' feature that essentially lets you setup an UNLIMITED amount of membership levels when you use a package.

    Clear as mud?

    The newest one that offers awesome animated things is a website builder/membership platform called igloo.
