How to find a Niche and own it with no Competition

Warriors

I did put this up for my 2000th post and though I would do it again as we have a stack of new members

#Please note do not try to high jack the thread for you own signature spamming reasons this works yours won't#

What I am about to show you is a great way to find a niche and own it

And what I mean is you won't have a lot of competition so you can make some dollars

First up you have to spend money on a domain and hosting ( or they won't find you)
you will also need either Word or the free version

OK so far so good , now during the next week you need to look at all media and social media as well

Celebs endorse a lot of crap that people buy , If you see something that is new google it look for any sales pages or anything that another person is doing the same I.E they have an affiliate page or free report etc ect
Now that you have found the product and no comp this is where the fun and money starts

Go to the product website and find all you can copy and paste into note/book
so now you have product info for an e-book to sell or free report , also see if the web page has an affiliate section if not email them and mention you are a marketer and want to market their product ( make sure you have permission )

Once all that is in place write the e-book or have someone do that for you
get a domain and some hosting if you do not have any
( their are lots of threads on the forum on traffic /domains/ YT just use the search tab at the top)

Now the window for this is 48 hours because of the Interest level , now I use a service called E-junkie for the e-book cost $5 a month and you can up load it to them and they deliver it for you ( If you search google there is 90 day free coupon on there last I looked)

Now to make sure you have the niche owned you need to have a video on YT I use just an image and the web site name on it , you do not need a video as the most you get will the people who are looking for the product and because you are the only one with the web page and YT video it will be on the first page of the search engines

On a side note I have not tried FB so not sure best check first and see if they have a page on there first as well
Just the other day I saw something on Instagram and today 10K in the bank!
I have been doing this for over 6 years and I can tell you you can make some very serious quick cash in very short time , I would also watch celebs on tal shows and have a pencil or pen and paper ready

Good Niche Hunting

      PS

You have to understand this is like a one hit sale so there is no landing page

Conversion is around 50% but also deepens on who is promoting what product

i did the same with a particular type of diaper cake a celeb had for her baby shower.

You can also put your aff links in the ebook guide.

        it did great,

minus the customer service I had to deal with..

I had an awesome diaper cake dropshipper.. When i say awesome, i mean the product was awesome..

however, she sometimes sent the cakes out late and I had to eat all the hate from the customers.

now, i only deal with downloadable printable games and decorations..

diaper cake-wise i just use aff links to diaper cake vendors.

When Oprah was around 5 years ago I did a report on a hand bag she mentioned and Affiliate link in the report made a quick 60k in a week

The lady whose bag she mention was a multi millionaire over night

          But no hate lol

I'm lost with the whole report concept...how do you sell a report using e-junkie about a chair or a hand bag? I'm making several videos right now but am only going to link to a product page...I wanna link to my e-junkie stuff...do you have any samples of these reports.

Sorry report is old school talk for e-book or white paper if you were going to give away

First up before you go though any type of niche make sure to look for comps first so you dont waste your time ,
When I started I did the whole landing page-email info-with link to webpage and where to buy button ( thats where E Junkie comes in
now easier for them to go to YT and follow the link to the website If you are selling an e-book

Now if there is a wait for the product as in comes out in 1-6 months that is where you do the landing page , they insert email , you send them the Affiliate link

              Hope this helps

Thanks Jason - there's so much on WF about Evergreen niches but sniping the latest trends and fads seems a great idea as well.

Imagine being the first person on YouTube last year with a Pokemon Go video, but I guess there are tens of thousands of micro-niches that suddenly become popular after featuring in a news story or social media post/tweet.

Without competition you really do not have a marketplace. I used to be scared of competition when I didn't know any better. Now the more competition the better in my book! It's learning how to separate yourself from it...

Yes I feel the same way.

I know many niches which don't have Ads going on and have minimal competition. I even made a couple of sites and got thousands of people signed up to my mailing list but the intent to purchase simply wasn't there.

        Competition can mean 2 things
        - 1 it's actually competitive to rank \ a real challenge
        - 2 competitors exist but have poor ranking metrics

I can't tell you how many product buyer keywords I find and just because the competitors are there. The serps it's self is un-competitive period.

Really interesting approach, I have a question though: you basically said that you set up sites/eBooks for specific products that became trendy overnight due to a celebrity or something. Then you make money through affiliate sales of that product.

How do you apply for such an affiliate program and get accepted that quickly? Or do you simply pick the product from Amazon (if its there) and use their affiliate program?

    Am I simply misunderstanding something?

I was watching a local TV channel and they talk about a new kind of tracking your personal items
So went over to the web site to maybe purchase and there was an affiliate page
So checked Google nothing! so I joined and they emailed back in 6 hours and was accepted
so I just copied the info on the site and set up a download page through my servers on the hosting site
than may a quick video for YT and rest is to sit back a wait for the paypal ding on the phone

This is a good post, but just to add my 2 cents.

Sometimes it does pay to find a niche with competition. Not always, but sometimes it's good to have a smaller piece of a big pie than the whole small pie.

With that being said, this is still a good post and I am not trying to discourage or discredit anything being said.

I totally agree with that you have written but this is more like smash and grab if it was to be phrased that way

    Hello Regional Warrior.

    Several questions.
    1. Do you somehow promote additionally your site?

    2. Do you just place somewhere a button "buy" or something like that with affiliate link encoded?

    3. Do you usually get affiliate links from Amazon or from any independent seller as well?

    4. Site only exists up to one week and then nothing extra can be gained from it. Right?

    5. One more, maybe naive question. How do you get affiliate link from seller. Do they tend to provide them easily or you should sound perfect to them to get it?

    Thanks.
    Vostok.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm thinking about giving it a go. Just so that I'm clear, let me re-run the process. I should follow celebrities on social media, look for their mention of hot new products, look for others who are marketing each product and, if there are none, create a domain around it as well as a YouTube video asap. I should also look for an affiliate opportunity for the product and also write and sell an ebook about it, right?

If I have this right and if you don't mind, can you please expand on why people would buy an ebook about the product? That part isn't entirely connecting for me. Like, for example, the purse you mentioned, what made people want to buy an ebook about it? And what did you fill an ebook with about a purse?

It sounds like you're profiting in 2 ways--the $10 ebook and affiliate sales--which is great. I dabbled in affiliate marketing a long time ago and I've sold ebooks before. I'm looking for a good passive income opportunity and I think this is an awesome idea if I can just figure these minor details out.

    Thanks, again!

This post inspired a torrent of domain name purchases on my part for products that won't be launched for months to come. I have no interest in developing sites for most of them, but will sit and wait for the offers to come in. Thanks for sharing this man!
