How to restore wikipedia article if it was deleted?

Hi to everyone,

Need your advice.

The problem is the following, we had an article on wikipedia, we promoted it and overspammed a little, so it was deleted. We need to restore the article with the same title.

We found a guy on fiverr, but he can't restore it with the same title, he offers a new article and new title, but it doesn't suit us.

So is it possible to restore the wikipedia article with same title? Do you know anyone who can help with it?

    Even if you find someone wikipedia will remove i guarantee you that

    Although wiki is almost open source but there are controllers that follow the new article .. if they found it that it's not proves they deletes it immediatly

    • What is the old wiki page about?
    • Do you have a backup of the content?
    • Why do you need the same old wiki page title, is it a spammy keyword (SEO)?

    - yes, we have the back up;
    - no, it's not a spammy word , it's just the name of the product and the owner wants to have exactly this title

      Sounds like a spammy link building trick to me. I'm guessing that you sold a client on how you could build "high quality backlinks" and now you're scrambling when your tactics backfired.

        No, we didn't sell such option!
        Just the client asked to restore the deleted article, that's it.

          Tell the client that if it got deleted once, it will continue to get deleted. There are better ways to promote a product/service than trying to game Wikipedia.

        But aren't Wikipedia outgoing links tagged NO FOLLOW?

    Wikipedia isn't a marketing platform, that's why your article was deleted. And trying to get it reposted on Wikipedia will have the same result.

    I was a Wikipedia editor several years ago and I can't tell you how much of this crap I had to delete because ppl were trying to promote their own product/service.

    You're wasting your time and money trying to promote through Wikipedia. There are much more effective marketing platforms out there that you won't have to try to game for it to work.

        This gives you full control, without risk of outside influence. You can promote the article as you see fit.

    Could be. I've never had reason to check, as I'd never try to manipulate Wikipedia for SEO.

    Without the implied legitimacy of appearing in Wikipedia. Most civilians accept Wikipedia as a legitimate source of facts. They don't account for the fact that anyone can edit any article for any purpose.
