Finding the right affiliate product to promote

I know I want a product that sells for around $100, is a book or ebook, pays at least 60% and appeals to a very small niche.

Now where do I start looking aside from Clickbank? (Had some so-so experiences with them. Would prefer to try something new).

If I can find a couple of the above described products, I think I have a cookie cutter method where I can sell small numbers each month, but enough to make it quite worthwhile.

Thank you in advance for any advice!

I'll second what Justin said about finding a niche, but once you settle on one you could try paydotcom.com or cj.com (commission junction).

There's also tonnes of cpa networks too like Copeac, Neverblue, Hydra etc but it would depend on what type of market/niche your looking at. Do a search on here for 'cpa networks and you'll find loads.

A couple of excellent cpa network search engines are affspy.com and offervault.com.

Both of these allow you to search through multiple cpa affiliate networks so you can see the type of products they have before you try and join them.

These really are an excellent resource, quite a few times in the past I'd gone through the whole process of getting approved for affiliate networks, only to find they don't have a lot of products in the particular market that I'm operating in.

    Jonathan,

You should consider first trying to promote a lower price product
(esp one that offers 100% commission) as you'll find them alot easier
to sell plus you get all the profit.

You need to find an affiliate product in a niche that you have a passion for.
With a passion for something, it's much easy to outsell the competition.

Find a niche first & research products second.

    Why more than one?

So that eventually ( asap ) you can test them against each other.

I like the idea of selling two products in the same page. It does let you know what people are looking for and which is the bigger converter after all I'd rather sell a $50 product twice a week than a $100 once a month.
