Affiliate Network Question

Okay so I signed up for clickbank and I went online and researched and came to the conclusion that their products seem scammy and heard people saying there are way better affiliate networks out there. Well, my problem is that I can't put in the TAX ID since I live in Canada and I refuse to put in my social security #. Clickbank and Amazon's affiliate program don't require any of these so are there any decent networks which don't require any TAX ID or information like that?

And when I tried to sign up for these "recommended" affiliate networks they ask questions as if you needa be a pro at affiliate marketing before you can start.

Anyone have like a really cheap course/book or whatever which teaches most terms and stuff on affiliate marketing? Like how to promote a product, how to know if its good or not, what are all the ways of promoting the product/offer. What is cpa, cpc and all that type of stuff.

All of them are going to require your social or business ID before they send you a penny. How are they going to give you tax documents without the number IRS knows you by?

Just add a dummy number in for TAX ID and explain the situation with them if they ask, I've never had a problem before (I am from Canada as well)

Other networks you could check out - Maxbounty, peerfly, abovealloffers, affiliati

As for your other question about how to promote affiliate products, you can start by using the search function of this forum. There are lots of topics the subject that have been started and discussed extensively.
