I have a site http://dachshunds-puppies.com
that is pretty extensive with hundreds of pages of videos and articles.

However I have not used it to monetize, but what I would
like to know if someone can give me any idea of how to monetize it.

ASSUMING you get a decent steady volume of traffic, I would set up a Shopify arbitrage shop and make BANK using one highly effective ecommerce trick.

Or you can choose to make a lower level of cash using adsense or run affiliate offers.

I think there is some real potential for products specific to the Dachshund audience. Here are some of my initial thoughts:
    • Dachshund Training Guide (ebook)
    • Affiliate products form Etsy, Amazon, Zazzle, etc. (I see you do this with posts, but you should have a more obvious storefront)
    • Monthly gift boxes for pets (PawPack and BarkBox come to mind)
    • Charge local breeders a fee for being listed on a online directory page
