I absolutely LOVE the "make money online" niche.

I've been doing well with it since 2008. However, you need to do it right if you want to avoid negative things like losing your autoresponder accounts, getting banned from ad networks, etc.

My main advice to you would be to always be ethical, make sure you review products personally before promoting them to your list, and if you wouldn't buy a product yourself then do not recommend it to others.

Make sure you do a LOT of research about how to properly conduct your email marketing campaigns or else you will have issues with your AR.

I've been using the same AR accounts since 2008 and never had any issues, so if you do it right you will be fine.

Be aware that there are a lot of "bad actors" in the MMO niche, so you must establish yourself as an honest person and an honest marketer, and do not engage with anyone who is unethical or uses spamming as a form of promotion.

Well Said. Also make sure you do not involve in pasting links to the products you are selling on social media hoping someone would buy. It won't happen and even if it does, it will be scanty sales. To build a business online besides having the product, you first need a lead magnet to suck in leads everyday and you can then market the product to your list. So it should go like this and this applies to any in any niche. Lead Magnet + Sales Funnel

IMO, the problem with the "make money online" niche is not the demand ... yes, there are plenty of prospects waiting to be served.

The problem is with the supply side. Every newbie and his grandma jump in with their own version of "how to make money online" in the form of ebooks, online courses, affiliate products, membership sites, tutorials, yada, yada, yada ... thinking this is the way to get rich fast.

But how many of these sellers have honest, valuable, personal experience in making money? How many can help their prospects with sound and proven advice with a first-hand perspective?

    Very, very few.

So my question to you is . . . what makes you qualified to teach others about making money online? How long have you been making money and what qualifies you to teach others? Or are you just going to "fake it 'til you make it?"

This industry has too many scammers, fakers, liars, and thieves.

What's the difference between someone getting into the "weight loss" or "dog training" niche that has no experience at those and someone getting into the "make money online" niche that has no experience with that?

I'm not saying you should go out and try to coach people how to make money online if you have never made any money yourself, but as far as niches go, people with no experience break into every niche out there, not just the make money online niche.

      You've got to start somewhere.

As long as you don't do unethical things like post fake screen shots or lie about your experience or how much money you've made, then I don't see an issue with him getting into any niche he wants.

Again, not saying this is right, either, but do you have any idea of how many really successful online marketers did the "fake it 'til you make it" thing?

Personally, I was quite successful at another niche that I was passionate about and had a lot of experience with (largemouth bass fishing) before I got into the MMO niche, so I didn't have to fake it, but there are plenty who do.

Not saying it's right, but it's common in just about every niche I think.

No difference ... I think it's important for anyone that is guiding, teaching, coaching, or providing advice in any niche to have some personal experience with it. To me, the idea of "make money online" encompasses the actual practice of doing it, of being successful at it. My point is that there are too many people giving advice about making money online that have never done it. Would you buy a product about how to do something if you knew the creator had never done it? Not me.

I understand there is a lot of "fake it 'til you make it" going on. I think it's one of the prime contributors to there being so much useless "how to" junk on the Internet. And in the "make money" niche it's especially rampant because so many people come online looking for a quick and easy solution to their money problems.

        Yes, I agree.

Put yourself in the shoes of the financially desperate person looking for a way to make money online to feed his family. Would you want to buy a make money product from someone who never had? To me, if a product creator or even an affiliate was promoting a particular method, I would want to know that it had been doable and successful for that person. That's all I'm saying.

True! I believe that before you move on to this field, you must equip yourself with tons of knowledge and experience working, earning and scouring the Internet for ways to make money online.

Actually, there are lots of ways to make money online, and you can share that! But you can't share what you don't have in the first place. And in this business, basing on other successful IMers tips, guides and experiences by reading blogs and articles isn't enough to make yourself a coach.

It's a good thing you are earning money in the personal development field! Just keep up the good work, and then move on to the next niche, the next niche, and the next niche, until you arrive on the making money online niche.

In this way, you have something worthwhile and no BS to teach your students! In this field full of scammers and phonies, strive to be one of the few LEGIT standing!

      Good luck on your endeavors!

      Exactly.

Please don't be one of those flooding the market with another eBook of nonsense advice where the only and obvious reason for existence is the money your customers paid for it.

"MMO" is a huge market, nowadays everyone craves to make a living on the internet. Unfortunately this demand makes many people blind. Personally, I could never sell a product that is bullshit just because of nice commissions. If you want to promote a product you will most likely have to invest in your personal brand and/or your audience first. In my opinion the damage that you can take from promoting bullshit is bigger than the possible reward. If you want to create an own product this is similar.

Conclusion: IF you want to work in this niche, then please have a reason for this. Its funny how many people teach others how to make money online if they never did themselves. If you teach a certain skill like designing, marketing, coding or whatever its totally fine. But saying "I'm gonna show you how to earn 10k a month" without making 1 by yourself is just a sad business model.

PS: Of course I'm just generalizing in this post.

    Hi:

If you are having success with personal development and weigh loss then scale up your efforts in those two niches. Once you are making enough money in those that you want to branch out then learn about making money on line for several months. Then test the waters to see what's what. It's a competitive market, but there seems to always be room for more competitors.

    Good luck.

Why not make get a ton of traffic/success in another niche then you make one like that. So like people will see OH dam this guy got traffic and success and made good $. Because otherwise people will be like "How to make money? More like how to make you money." So lets say u get something successful like above. Then you create ur main money generating blog. You can sell products for 1000$+ and people will buy them as long as you got like good subscribers and you market is right. So the easiest way to becoming a millionaire, in my opinion is selling 1000$ products. But this niche is the only one which sells 1k$ per product, I mean other niches just dont work for selling 1k product.

If you're new to it, it will be a tough cookie to crack...

    Here are a few guidelines:

    PROOF:

    1. If you are not making money online and can't show proof it will be hard for you to make sales and get people to believe you. But, since you said you did ok with Weight Loss and personal development niches, you can use those as proof that you know how to make money online.

    2. Get in a good circle, find a partner that is already established and well known.

Don't try to get in a big circle like Frank Kern or Russell Brunson's Circle, unless you have the BIG BUCKS to spend.

Just find someone that has been there and done that and is moving up. Maybe someone making 4-5 figures a month.

    3. Make sure you or your partner has a proven product where you can show proof that what you have is making your money and you can show proof of it. Make sure you copy on your site is all up to par and that you have a good JV Page in order. If you can afford Money Prize to give away that will entice affiliates to help promote it as well.

    Hope this helps!

    Good luck.

I have just started a blog on same niche "make money online" somewhere it touches "blogging", its over 2 months and did not earn a penny.

This reminds me of a promo I saw for a show called "The Great Indoors". Joel McHale's character is introduced as the new boss to a bunch of millennials.

The girl is upset. "I've been passed over for promotion again? I've been here eight whole weeks. What do I have to do?"

Two months is nothing in today's blogosphere, especially if you're relying on Papa Google for your traffic (aka, your audience).

Instead of waiting for the visitors (and sales) to find you, go where they already hang out. Things like intelligent commenting, guest posting, posting your content on social media and then promoting it, etc, put you in front of the eyeballs you want. Some of them will follow you home to your blog, and if you do things right, they'll invite their friends. That's how you start building momentum.

That is so because you set out the wrong way. I presume you promoting a product by just writing blog post and pasting the links on social media and everywhere you can find? That is what i mean by saying you are doing it the wrong way. First you have to create a lead magnet that you can offer in every blog post as a free offer or rather download. better still you can add a pop to your website. Then you now have to set up your autoresponder so that if anyone downloads your free ebook, they can be added to your autoresponder and the email sequence can begin. But each blog post has to be a way to suck in new leads. You have to be absolutely focused in listbuilding. Market to that list. As your list grows, you make more money. Please note that your lead magnet must be valuable and must be related to the product you are selling..i hope this helps..

MMO niche is sometimes funny. You make money online by teaching how to make money online by teaching how to make money online by teaching how to... Okay

Anyhoo, don't mind the competition. Where there is a competition, there is money to be made. You just have to be different, be unique so you stand out from the crowd to get noticed.

People are always looking for MONEY HEALTH AND ROMANCE. They look for ways to improve their situations on these three main areas. And you can achieve another success with MMO/IM niches as you did and doing with Self help and weight loss niches.

It`s better to pick up a sub-niche on Make money online world. That will lead to less competitions and more conversion rates.
    Thanks so much

The net is the best method to compete with large businesses when seeking to earn money on the internet. Establishing a niche may be a distinctive method to set your internet business aside from the competition. Establishing a web business is simpler than you believe.

If you utilize the right websites and correct techniques your probability of obtaining more customers is great. Thus, you have very little room to promote your goods or services and you need to get the most out of it. Finding wonderful products to sell isn’t hard, what’s hard is to locate a wonderful supplier.

Terrible debt can also keep you from obtaining a credit line from a supplier. Increasing the quantity of men and women that are exposed to your company will help to raise your sales. Many modest businesses have used some type of digital marketing though they may not even know about it.

On-line organization means international company. Social media is a good method to learn what your clients think about your business, products or solutions. Creating quality content has become the most essential thing for the success of your internet enterprise..
So you have to learn how to build a successful online business, setting a good sales funnel where you will be able to generate massive traffic to your website and earn Big.

Making money whether it is online or offline is difficult.

Some people will tell you it is easy.

Get on a trend and as the saying goes "A rising tide floats al boats"

Personally I've found making money online easy but that is because I've tried many things over the years and expanded the ones that worked.

As for selling MMO or for succeeding in MMO or any business there are only a few people who really do well.

Recently I shared a simple idea that I'd kept to myself for a long time. It was an idea where I leveraged my business relationships and my everyday activities.

Everyone thinks they want to increase their income fast but they don't really realise the compounding effects of leveraging what you already have to grow.

There was something I once heard from Dan Kennedy in relation to people who have success.

Dan said something like this: "Someone will have success with your idea. You will resonate with someone. It is not like you have the best solution but some of the people who consume your information will have success. It is not like your idea was the greatest or anything but THEY WERE READY, the time was right"

So few people have great success with many things.

If you are a person who is committed and have real knowledge of how something works and you have the ability to convey your knowledge to someone who is seeking it then you will succeed..

    best regards,

    Ozi

    Hi there!

Well this is a good question and one that shouldn't be taken lightly!

If your looking to make money by teaching people to make money, then you best be DOING IT....

It's quiet scary how easy it is to fake clickbank account payments using the inspect element function on computers....

"work two hours a day and make thousands" yeah right do the people that actually make money work two hours a day?

Well, maybe after ten years when they have learned to outsource, but for the majority of their career its been 8-10 hours a day...

and you do realise for some people looking to make money online, that some are near their breaking point?

We had a thread of here a while ago where someone wanted to seriously harm themselves because all the information they got from a guru didn't make any money...

Think about things before you decide this niche!

    Thanks shaun!

It's the niche of all niches!

There is always going to be a demand - but you have to go above and beyond nowadays with your audience.

You have to get personal and be specific. Working with conventional wisdom mixed with over-hashed content won't get many sales.

I just mentioned in another thread, I'm personally going more towards higher ticket products to draw an audience I can actually get to know and work with.

Be yourself - and treat ppl the right way - and you'll do very well!

Specifically, how are you making money online?

This is the factor which counts, which will determine the opinion of whether or not it's a stable and suitable idea, since 'MMO' isn't a niche.

You already said it yourself that its a competitive niche. The sharks in that niche will swallow you, e.g Myself . Except you have uncovered a market that we have'nt reach yet.

There's a better question to ask then if it's possible to make money in the "make money online niche"...

The question that's most important is "how".

You see there are tons of different business models when it comes to making money online, however if you don't have a solid plan on #1 getting traffic, #2 building a list, #3 converting that traffic into sales, #4 maximizing the amount of money you actually make per customer and #5 automating the entire process so that it happens with or without you being there.

If you can get all of those things down...then you'll truly have a business.

For many years I did well in affiliate and internet marketing...but I didn't have a "business".

If you can't go away for months and still make the around the same type of money then you don't have a business yet...

Remain Committed I've seen individuals succeed and I've seen individuals fizzle and the one thing I can really vouch for is that the general population who succeed are, at the center, just extraordinary in two ways. They're overcome enough to begin and they don't surrender. It doesn't make a difference your level of mastery, plan foundation or coding capacity. Your one of a kind point of view on whatever it is you're attempting to manufacture is what's profitable and the rest makes sense of itself. The general population who have found achievement in specialty advertising are the ones who have taken a risk and focused on learning as they go.

      Well said.

      Commitment

      Begin.

      Don't surrender.

      Risk.

      Learn as you go.

A sublime answer from a new member.

Welcome mahabubalam I'll look out for your contributions in the future.

I would add that the planning part does need some attention as many businesses come unstuck when they don't plan for success.

The old saying goes. "Businesses who fail to plan. Plan to fail"

An idea can get legs and take off and you can end up in a situation where success is thrust upon you. The more successful recognise their own shortcomings and plan to either improve those areas or find employees or partners who cover their weakness.

      Best regards,

      Ozi

No not really. You just can not do what 90% of the other people who are not making any money doing. You need to separate yourself and do not direct link using the same traffic sources everybody else is using.
