About keywords search terms and CPC

If I remove fence and replace with fence contractor or aluminum fence, that would be a better term for search, in other words should I stay away from single words and stick to more specific search terms,

On the keywords tools some keywords come with a low and high search volume what would be the best keywords, those with the high or the low

If an average CPC is around $1.69 what happens if i set my top CPC to let say 0.39

I think all that would happen is you would not be seen that high in the search results depending on your competition. I could be wrong about this. Your ability to be seen at the top would be dependent on you outbidding the person who was currently there. If you bid less you will get less of the daily incoming traffic for that term.

I would imagine the more specific you become the lower your cost would be, if you use a very broad term your cost would be high to get most of the daily traffic for that term, for example if I used the term fence I would have to pay alot to get enough traffic to exhaust my daily budget.

If I used the term, fence contractor it may still be high, unless you made it location specific. Think of it this way, if there are 1000 daily searches for a term, and you are willing to pay 0.50 per click and someone else is willing to pay 1.50 per click, and they have a budget of 500.00$ daily then they would get most of the views when the search term is entered.

So how much of those 1000 searches is left? And it goes down the line in this order, if you pay the lowest your ad may not even be seen enough to exhaust your daily budget. Again I could be wrong about this so you may want to get a second opinion.
