Wordpress: Copy/Paste blogs

Hello warriors,

I use a wordpress blog for all my affiliate review domains using the same contact form, privacy, terms of use, etc pages.

Does anyone know how can I copy/paste one blog from one domain to another without having to create the pages manually for each new review page? Basically what I want to do is to upload the entire review blog template to the new domain and simply change the affiliate links.

TIA!

Hi. If you Google "how to clone wordpress blog" it comes up with a bunch of possible solutions:

    1) Someone was running a WSO for cloning blogs.

    2) Word Press Cloner

    3) WP Cloner : Mass Automation Tools

    4) Another Warrior thread. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-best-way.html

    Hope this helps.

That's what I do with WordPress configurations I use often. I'll upload and activate the theme and plugins, then I'll go through and edit the various blog and plugin settings before backing up the database and site files.

Next time I want to use the same configuration on another new site, I install WordPress and then upload those site files over the top of it. Then I open the database file in notepad and run a find-and-replace on the site URL. Then I go into the new database and drop all the tables, and then import the database from the first site. Then I change the username and password to what I set for the second site (because you wouldn't want all your sites to share the same login details).

Sometimes I find there's the odd plugin where the settings won't transfer over and they'll need to be edited afterwards, but mostly it's just a case of logging in to the admin and editing the site name and description etc. It's not nearly as convoluted as it sounds, and no different from transfering a site after it's been sold. It's just a half-finished site instead. Much quicker than starting from scratch every time.
