small amazon affiliate question

hey im 24 hours in as a amazon affiliate so far i have 300 clicks with 17 orders with the total of the orders being 400$ i have been reading the forum for awhile but i just got approved for amazon associate yesterday i was just wanting to ask some of yall if it looks like im on the right track for a decent income???? any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

    here is a screenshot if it will help amazon just updated the stats. it is from the 19th when i started till today so 2 days and only 7 out of 17 items shipped well they just updated i have 3000 clicks is this good flow for being 2 days old?

    sounds like the average sale was about 24 dollars. or if 400 was your commission then you are doing great. but 4-5% commission on $400 is like 20 bucks. Not bad but not enough to retire on. Hopefully you did not spend more than 20 on ads to get those clicks. Physical good are hard to mke large commissions on. Hope it works out for you

    i dont have any $ invested and yeah i was thinking around 25$ commision and thanks for your input did you look at my graph? amazon just updated after i posted this i had 3000 click with 17 orders, 7 of them shipped out yesterday so i earned $6.00 so @ 25 a day that would put me @ $750 a month correct? i can only see my sales increasing or atleast i hope since i atleast have the click count

    the graph was super tiny. If you are excited about 750 a month, then go for it. You should do what makes you happy not what makes enough money to fulfill your dreams

    And with such a high conversion rate, you can easily make lots of sales by simply improving your traffic level.

    How many people here build a new site and watch it earn $20 the FIRST day? Not many. Nothing to stop the OP from building one such site a week - or one a day - is there? Nothing to stop him from driving traffic to that site and reaching $100 a day....

    James - You have hit a good product/niche right out of the gate...scale it up and drive traffic to that site. When people here PM you to ask what your niche is...good idea not to give specifics. People will copy you in a heartbeat.
