What courses and/or information can you point me to learn how to best create, launch and promote my own product or service for the first time. In other words, who would you follow to get your product out there for the first time?

  • Creating a product isn't hard but time consuming.

Asking yourself questions ask will point you in the right direction.

Who am I creating the product for?

What format will the product be, video, Ebook ect...

Is the format suitable for my targeted audience?

Do a little research on the product, if you are a war room member a lot of this you can get for free in the war room. There is a lot of helpful material.

You need to set aside time, you won't create a product in a day and even if you do it's not going to be worth buying.

    Creating products takes weeks.
  • I would suggest doing something digital and listing it with warrior plus. You can have a team of peopele working for you. You also might trying a WSO here. People are interested in making money online. I would say look for whatever you know the most about and push in that direction
  • For a good overview, check out The Circle of Profit by Anik Singal. The later chapters discuss how to create an information product and promote it after you've built a profitable list.

For something more in depth, Ramit Sethi's Zero to Launch course (not aff link) if a very comprehensive guide that walks you through product creation (from idea to creation to pricing and marketing, etc.). Highly recommended.

Should be a fun learning experience for you. Good luck!

    • Thanks for the suggestions on this. I will check both of them out and keep learning. Thanks!
  • Just check out the WSO section.

Do a search and look for product creation.

Sort by number of replies and order responses.

    A pattern should quickly emerge.

Having said all of the above, the EASIEST product you can come up with that pretty much markets itself is an INTERVIEW COMPILATION.

    No joke.

    Look into it.

There have been posts about this 'method' on this forum in the past.

No need to pay a 'guru' to teach you how to make money online.

You can figure it all out.

Just invest TIME and BELIEVE in yourself.

    I wish you the best!
  • There are lots of them out there. Just search this forum, JVZoo, Warrior Plus and google also. This one helped me a lot. It's on skillshare but you can join for 99 cents for 3 months and there are other product creation courses there. Check it out here:

    • I love all of these suggestions! This is golden!
  • One of the best ways to make money online is to create your own products. Product creation takes quite a bit of practice and a direct audience to market to. Try to learn how to create low ticket products firstly and sell them through Warrior plus and Jvzoo. Then scale up and go on with high ticket products.
    Thanks so much.
  • you can check fergual downs. he has a good coaching program. he will help with the launch all the way.
also billy darr is good. look them up
  • I've always been a DIY sort of person (to my benefit and detriment) and like to reverse engineer things. Over the years I've created products as simple as a text report saved as a PDF up to multi-part video training delivered through a membership site and Wordpress templates.

My recommendation is that you find someone who has the kind of business you want to run, and then model them. Sign up for their lists, study their marketing systems and messages. Note the service providers they use for hosting, email marketing, shopping carts, customer support, etc. If they offer training that teaches their methods, sign up.

The more you try to build something specific, the more specific your questions become - and the easier it is to find relevant answers.

  • Create new product and promote in social media platforms. That's what i do
  • I second the recommendation for "Launch" by Jeff Walker - he's the guru of launches and you can buy the book on amazon for about $10.

    • I was looking at this one and it looks promising. I will pick it up on Amazon. Thanks

  • The most important part of the equation is first knowing WHO do you want the product/service to serve. Take a few days to figure that out as you don't want to rush that part

And then WHERE To find them is easy such as looking at Facebook fan page for that specific interest, Facebook groups, forums, etc. You can run Facebook ads and target those
  • Join a few Facebook groups in the niche your exploring, read all the free info you can when you google your topic, but I would recommend finding a successful mentor/coach. It just cuts down the learning time and gets you going quicker and holds you accountable. Everyone thinks because it's on the internet that everything is easy and everything is a scam. Do your homework, stay focused, read all the great info on warrior forum as well. Once you start learning, you will start to see the BS from the facts.
    Hope this helps
