How Do I Get Honest Review Readers For My New Book?

Hey guys,

I'm about publishing my new book on Kindle: The 5-Day Wordpress School - How To Become A Wordpress Website Designer In 5 Days Or Less.

And I need people in this forum who'll be willing to give an honest feedback on the book (in terms of how the book delivered on its promises) before it goes live on Amazon.

How do I go about it?

Any ideas?

      Hi agmccall;

Great recommendation. I checked out the site and found great information readily available even without subscribing.

    Hi:

Check out bookmarketingtools.com They offer a service to get you honest reviews. I believe they charge $35. They have 35,000 subscribers in that part of their business and they will get your book in front of them for a review. Of course the book has to be free for their reviewers.
If you are trying to get reviews to move your book up in the rankings then it's something to at least look at to see if it's right for you.

    Good luck,

You place a classified ad. Although with Kindle Books you want your reviews to be a "verified purchase" that means you will have to provide a amazon gift certificate or actually pay for the reviewers to purchase your book

People offer review copies of products and services on this forum all of the time. What's preventing you from doing that?

Well, I am new here so why not do what I plan to do. When in doubt - ask the mods. :-)

        Thank you.

Seeing as your book is about Wordpress design maybe a good idea would be to find out where potential readers of your book "hangout", (forums, websites, etc), and offer to provide them with a copy of your book.

Some may just grab the free offer and run but some may be happy to provide you with a review.

    Hi Emm,

Running a blog helps you attract loyal readers. These folks will give you honest, glowing reviews because they love your work to begin with.

I have the highest rated eBook in one of Amazon's categories because I asked my readers to review it and they went and published 48 reviews, every single one of the reviews being 5 stars.

    Happy Blogging

    Ryan

PS....I'd not attach too much to reviews because many folks buy based on the energy and value in your eBook, not based on reviews. Seriously.

Also, once your readership grows they will buy your eBooks with no hesitation, boosting your sales and rank on Amazon search without getting many reviews.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your contribution.

Yes, I do have a blog that attracts over 1,000 monthly readers but the problem is: Amazon have placed restriction on readers from my country to buy Kindle books which explains why I have to look out for other options.

Your awesome thoughts was really helpful!
