who promotes fatloss4idiots?

I'm getting so sick of this product , I've had over 300 targeted hops and ZERO sales..... their is really nothing wrong with my presell page either ... I don't get it...

I only picked fatloss4idiots because of the high gravity .... does anyone else feel their sales page kinda sucks? should I drop this one or keep at it?

      buckz55,

I have sent you a PM. It is a strange one to be assured. Many people I know in IM have been lured to promote this only to be disappointed. I can personally say that it is a wonderful product, I own it - paid full price and everything!

From my understanding, and everyone feel free to correct me, if a sale is not converting 1/40 hops, there is a problem with the landing page. If you are doing your own landing page, that could be it. If you are doing a redirect; dump it and move on as it means the seller's landing page is lacking. There are ways around this, but if you are a newbie, it is not worth your time at this point.

I have resorted to direct linking right off the bat for most new campaigns if I buy traffic; just to see if I can get the 1/40 conversion. I believe a double meta refresh allows you to redirect and still see stats of traffic to your site; if you are doing SEO.

Don't let yourself be consumed by this program. There are hundreds of affiliate managers that would bend over backwards to help you, if you just ask. If you ask and they don't respond, just bolt outta there.

There are many products with a way better than 1/40 conversion (I'm still looking or I'd tell you). And, I am 100% SEO these days.

      Hope this helps a bit.

The deal with weightloss (and if you promote it properly you will see the results) is most are info seekers. They are going to search around for awhile...they are still looking for that push button today...bikini tomorrow solution. If you put them on a list with a free report and not market to them at all form the squeeze... You can often hit them up with a plr auto responder series and then nail them with some offers...

I consider weightloss with organic traffic a "List Niche"

You can make sales but you will convert a lot of the traffic you receive by sending them some info and then an offer. Like recycling your traffic... Eventually these people that are serious are going to buy something...so give them some info...take some money later...give and take relationship hehe...

EDIT: if your main source of traffic is articles...You are often going to see 200 hops per sale in this niche without some additional work or a lot of creative writing...

I agree. Weight loss is one of those niches where you need a list.

People that haven't lost the weight really lack the motivation to lose the
weight or otherwise they'd be thin already. Unfortunately, a sales page
doesn't motivate them enough to lose weight and they need the extra
motivaton that can be given by soliciting them again and again via a list.

The fatloss 4 idiots site is quite strange, compared to other sales pages.
The buyers really have to do some work to get the pay now button.

Try changing the landing page (check out the affiliate section from fat loss 4 idiots).

    Just an idea

I promote this product and it goes through fits and spurts of sales and no sales. It's true, people browsing for this info can take a long time to buy. I like their sales page. It gets people in the habit of 'clicking'.

I did one Hub and maybe 1 or 2 articles, ages ago, before moving on to other niches and products. Meanwhile, I do manage to get one sale every couple of months, for whatever reason.

I have been considering going back to it, since without making much effort, it has converted for me. As for hops per order, as far back as I am able to check in my stats (july till now) I am at 29:1 for that product. (could just be fluke, since I don't really hammer it.)

Regarding marketing weight loss from the list - I am beginning to look at all niches that way!
If nothing else, you build "equity" in your list, and as the numbers grow, your ability to monetize it just continues to grow. Not to mention, if you're spending money on PPC, you get to hold on to a little of that investment, so to speak.

Would you care to post a link to your landing page, in case anyone can offer anything helpful there?

I've been promoting this product for about 2 months with no success. I haven't been promoting it hardcore, just wrote a few articles on it. I promote a few other Weight Loss Products too. Strip the Fat has been a winner for me. (Don't worry, the articles I write aren't usually as horribly writen as this paragraph.)

Their top affiliates are selling to a specific demographic.

You can do this with list building if you focus on different offers for the same demographic and get them to opt-in. Then you are able to cross-promote between your lists because you are targeting basically the same demographic.

For instance, if you are targeting males 18-30 as your principal demographic, you would promote products like education, cheap travel, dating, developing social skills, sporting goods, fitness, etc. Although cross-promotion isn't as targeted as selling an educational package to someone who has entered those keywords into Google, the different lists still have some overlap of interest. For instance, college students may well be interested in dating services or cheap travel.
