Hey Guys,
Just a quick one here, I am just doing a blog post and the topic is Profile Pictures!! So I thought I would pose the question here,
Do you pay any? as much? Or no attention to people who either post on here, Add you on Facebook or have a Youtube Channel etc etc if they have no profile picture??
Let me know your thoughts!

Yes i do pay attention, Facebook profile without picture looks to me FAKE...
Articles and Forum posts...does not matter a lot but at Facebook it is must..
as i want to know who is my friend there...

I agree with Moshin. Definitely on FB I want to see pics but I also only connect with people I really know. On forums I like it because it helps me link posts to people more than names even if it's not a pic of them, just having an image helps.

I've uploaded a pic here but for some reason it's not showing...need to figure that out.

You uploaded a profile picture, but not an avatar picture. They are two separate options in your settings - can't remember exactly where to do it, sorry! But look around in there and you'll see an option to upload an avatar pic.

Took me awhile to figure that one out too.

I don't consciously pay attention to it, but I must admit I feel more comfortable with people who have pics, especially if I'm linking to them as a "friend" on FB.

There's something about seeing a person's face that makes you feel like you're meeting them in person. Doesn't really make sense, but there it is. LOL

I ALWAYS prefer having a picture to look at if I'm somehow getting in touch in some way with someone. Regardless of the picture really, as it just gets easier to relate to them.

And here on the forum, not having a picture makes me think you are not serious, as well as I will most likely not remember you if you make a great post. (Unless you have a catchy name)

I'd say it's extremely important if you want to get credibility and be remembered.

@Vagabondette I had the same problem But thanks to Wendy the problem may be solved!
I always say its good and easier to put a name to a face! So whether it be just someone giving you some great advice within this forum you are more likely to remember who it was by the picture than if they have not got a picture!

      Wrighty and Vagabondette,

I found the setting info for you in case you haven't been able to find it yet - I still had to hunt for it even though I just changed my avatar pic not too long ago!

Click on User CP in the upper left of your screen. Scroll down, and in the left hand column you'll see a heading that says Settings & Options. Under that is an option to Edit Avatar.

      Hope that helps!
