The Tube Sock Market is a $2 billion dollar market. If I can get 1/1000 percent of the market... LOL

Always loved how people who are pondering whether or not they should be getting into a particular business... will go into macro economics figures of it to try to justify why they are pursuing it.

i.e. the bottled water business is a $200 billion dollar market.

Just get .00000000001 percent of market share and you will make $5 million a year

And the second thread posted is

"How can I get .00000000001 percent market share on this?"

IM is a paradise for dreamers.

      Yep, widespread delusions of adequacy...

And we can't forget the mandatory comparison to Bezos, Gates and/or Zuckerberg.

But if I can get 1/10000000000 of all their money by people clicking on my E-Z button. You can spend all day on an Island drinking tropical drinks by the pool. Just give the Guru $1.99, he will share you his secret formula, for instant riches in 24 hours or less. According to the newest WSO

    Speaking of marketing lies . . .

It was Benjamin Disraeli (former prime minister of the UK) that said:

"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

    . . . and maybe even more appropriate to this thread . . .

    Artemus Ward:

"It ain't so much the things we don't know that get us in trouble. It's the things we know that ain't so."

Sneakers are a 55 billion dollar global market with a 1 billion buck aftermarket.

And we can easily find a WSO to help the dreamers crash into that market...

    just saying.

And what blossoming teen boy doesn't need a few extra pairs of tube socks?

    An evergreen market.

PS. Multi billion dollar industry didn't stop Mark Levine and Michael Dubin from starting Dollar Shave Club and Unilever paid a billion bux cash for it. Sometimes dreamers wake up and the reality is better than the dream.
