Blogging and ebook publishing! tbh though, the holy grail is building a SaaS of some type.

I think the best niche to promote is website traffic advertising services. Why? because whether someone believes the economy is good or bad, or they are struggling or thriving financially, they will always need website traffic.

I think this applies to 2017 but also going forward as well.

    Find a hungry market.

Find a product about that market--or create your own product.

Then get that offer in front of those people.

Could be paid traffic, post on a big forum in your niche.

The revenue sharing niche works very well for me. Earned $90K in 2016 and this year expecting to double this income. After 9 years doing all sorts of online business I have given up completely all the others except revenue sharing. I now mentor a small group of online marketers for free as a way to give back to the online community.

Serving markets with high quality products has always been the key.

Following in the steps of every top entrepreneur, you want to eventually have your own products - a good way to start is an ebook, video training product or coaching program/seminar.

It doesn't matter how an entrepreneur comes by their platform (bloggers, social media, video, affiliate superstar, etc....) they all come around to knowing they need their own products out in the market to maximize revenue, brand, publicity and leverage.

I monetize 3rd party data using PPL offers. Been doing it for over 16 years and no plans to stop.

In case what said is cryptic to you, the simple explanation is...

PPL (pay per lead) are simply lead generations offers, where you get paid when someone fills out and submits a form (lead). The advantage is that no credit card / purchase is required to complete an offer. Since all a user has to do is fill out a form, the conversion rates are typically much higher than offers that require a sale to be made.

Bottom line, it is far easier to get someone to fill out a short form than take out their credit card and make a purchase. So why beat you head against the fall trying to sell this or that, when you can provide free information that users want / need and get paid well doing it.

Some example of verticals that I have done extremely well with are: education, insurance, mortgage, debt, credit, loans, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

I do favor offers that have a make, get or save money benefit to the, as they have overall worked best for me. They tend to have the greatest amount of mass appeal (will be of interest to a very large general audience). So the potential to generate high volume exists and cross promotion of offers is fairly easy.

To generate traffic I acquire fresh / targeted 3rd party data(email). 3rd party data is data that the users have provided permission to receive messages from third parties. So it's 100% can-spam compliant and you get an opt-in record for each user.

Plus, rather than always spending my money on traffic, I'm building assets that I then own and can market to over and over at low cost.

Then based on the vertical that I'm receiving data for, I send a relevant offer. So if I'm getting data for life insurance, I send the users a life insurance offer. If I'm getting education data, then I send an education offer.

3rd party data is rarely going to be as responsive as a high-quality opt-in list you build yourself, but it really doesn't matter. This is because it is so much cheaper and scalable than building. Also, the data that you initially acquire isn't what will make you money long term.

You want to always be segmenting the openers / clickers - removing the unresponsive users. That way over time you will be building smaller but very responsive lists that eventually you will be able to send less and make more with each mailing. Essentially, you are converting the data from quantity to quality.

Anyway, that's the short of the long of what I do. There is obviously much more to it, but done right it can be extremely profitable. Everyone that I know that is in the business and knows what they are doing, for the most part, does 6-7 figures. While that may be a huge range, much comes down to one's abilities to scale and effectively manage / build the infrastructure required to scale.

I will say that it's not for everyone, but something to think about.

I think that depends on the kind of work you are passionate about. If you love to write, you can earn from blogging. If you love to sell, you can earn from affiliate marketing. If you love to teach, you can earn from online coaching.

Really, it depends on you. What's best for me might not be best for you. So explore! You know the answer best than us.

Forget about "methods" and follow something that you are passionate about, that you are good at or that you see real demand/potential in.

"Methods" are usually for those who have no idea where to start and always sounds unrealistically static to me.

If you are good and creative in what you do also "saturated" or "outdated" stuff will make you money, if you are not, then also the best business model on the planet won't help you.

The best moneymaking strategy is to master the fundamentals of marketing.

You master the fundamentals of marketing you can apply these skills to anything, and you can walk into virtually any industry and find success.

It's like learning a language, and then learning a language closely related to it.

It takes time to learn the core skills, but once you master the core skills you're literally able to be successful anywhere you go because you master those core skills.

It may take a little bit of learning, like a musician who has to learn to play blues once they've mastered the guitar itself and maybe learn flying rock 'n roll.

If you're really dedicated to being successful, take your success seriously, and are just going to brush off basic ideas, here's the key to success:

Focus on the fundamentals. This is what all great coaches and athletes throughout history of said to every major athlete and performer.

Focus on the fundamentals, and successful find you.

This isn't me saying this, it's a law which is demonstrated all throughout history in virtually every situation.

There is some truth to this. But the devil are in the details and sooner or later you have to have a good balanced combo of understanding basic fundamentals and a sharpshooter's mentality for understanding the exact details with what you are dealing with.

You're laughing at your own arrogance.

Why did you write this post?

Notice I actually presented information that provides advice. All you did (literally) was use this post to pump up your own ego.

Not offering any help, focusing on yourself, and implying how much better you are than everyone else. Even felt the need to put your name. Pathetic.

You're going against the advice of all the most successful people at any skill in history.

What is your brilliant advice that proves them all wrong?

I want to hear it so I can rip it to shreds. Stop being arrogant. If you're going to showboat at least offer some useful advice.

Show some respect. Focus on someone other than yourself.

First of all, it is not about the method, it is all about the options that are available for making money online. In my view, there are a lot of options available for making money online.

1st option is doing affiliate marketing by promoting others products through website, social media, email lists, PPC.
2nd option is to create your own digital products and sell it online through your website or marketplaces like Clickbank, creative market, Envato etc.
The 3rd option is making money by doing freelance jobs that were available through the freelance portals like Up work, PeoplePerHour, Freelancer etc.
The 4th option is creating a blog with interesting content and monetize it. etc

The best method is...unarguably, without a doubt, beyond all others, with more rich guys than any other method that is working for people in 2017 (as it did in 1997) is simple. It has two parts:

    Selling INFORMATION
    Coaching.

Early members of this forum have gone on to become legends in Internet Marketing and the MMO niche. And they have done it by selling information, then offering coaching.

Hard to argue (but go ahead if so inclined) with the success of Eban Pagan, Frank Kern, John Reese, Russell Brunson, Perry Brelcher and on and on and on, go ahead make your own list of YOUR top IMers and then see...

they A- Sell information in some form. B- Most offer coaching.

Sure, every once in a while something comes along which is the darling of the day, fads come and go, software is developed, systems, etc. etc.

But you can't quench the thirst of the information thirsty. It is EVERGREEN on going, never ending, and perpetual as motion can be.

It isn't rocket science, nor a "SECRET" all the top 101 MMO/IM gurus practice it right before your eyes, open and for all to see.

Even their models have evolved to similar marketing methods. Webinar. Coaching. Products. Groups.

So if you are serious about using methods which "work for people", why would you not go with the time tested and proven, fundamental foundation of IM/MMO success, with over 100 million dollars of evidence in the form of success of the top gurus, who teach, preach and shout from the rooftops:

Get started today selling INFORMATION, and the what kind of and to whom is not important, because every niche has its info demands...what is important is how quickly you get started PLUS

how relentless you are in your pursuit of success.

    Cheers.
I think the most powerful method is to use multiple channels to promote your offer (whether it be your own or affiliate)

It means you have to HUSTLE and promote yourself:

    1. Youtube
    2. Social Media (Twitter, Stumbleupon, LiveJournal, Pinterest, Google+, Tumblr, Reddit)
    3. Blogging
    4. Forums
    5. Facebook Groups
    6. Email Marketing

You literally have to do ALL of that stuff every single day, for the rest of your life.

That's your job now. It doesn't matter what you sell, just promote yourself on those channels and you will start to get more attention, more leads, and more sales.

Personally, I plan to blaze my own trail....no more relying on others for my own success. I am creating my own all in one product. A soup to nuts for marketers who are sick of reading the same old advice everywhere you turn.

P.S. Posting in bold doesn't make your words any more important. :-)

You'll never give advice. Why are you here?

I never said posting in bold made my words important. Where are you getting this from? Can you tell the difference between reality and your thoughts? (question, not an insult).

It's just strange that you're making up facts now, believing your thoughts represent reality, coming on to a message board refusing to offer advice, and trying to prove how tough you are to me so badly.

What is purpose in trying to argue with me? It's not something a level-headed person can make sense of.

Maybe I was too hard on you. If that's the case I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Sometimes I play too rough for people. I'm trying to understand you and make points. It seems you just want me to know how tough and macho you are.

I've told you what I want from this discussion. That's my fault for not articulating my goals clearly. I want to understand where you're coming from, and find validity in your points.

What is it you want from me? I'd love to talk on a one-to-one level instead of just fighting. Looking forward to your reply.

That's a rather declarative statement based on what? How do you what I'll never do? How do you what I've ever done? Why are you presumptuous?

                  Why are you here?
What business is that of yours. Where should I be?

I never said posting in bold made my words important.
I never said that you did. I stated that they don't. Try to focus.

Where are you getting this from? Can you tell the difference between reality and your thoughts? (question, not an insult).
                  Only on a good day.

It's just strange that you're making up facts now, believing your thoughts represent reality, coming on to a message board refusing to offer advice, and trying to prove how tough you are to me so badly.
It appears that you are the one making things up. I haven't refused to do anything. Nor have I agreed to do anything. I don't answer to you. I'm sorry if that disappoints you. Additionally, I don't need to demonstrate how tough I am to anyone. Ask around.

What is purpose in trying to argue with me?
Apparently you have never witnessed one of my arguments. Trust me. I am not arguing with you.

It's not something a level-headed person can make sense of.
I don't see anything in the way that you present yourself that I would deem level-headed. Honestly, you seem to be unhinged.

Maybe I was too hard on you.
Don't flatter yourself. I've gone toe-to-toe with the best minds on the forum and my fair share of morons. I've yet to call any of those encounters as being too hard on me. I generally hold my own.

If that's the case I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
Now you're just being funny. I have no feelings. This is an Internet forum, not an AA meeting.

Sometimes I play too rough for people.
I'm not people and I can handle anything you choose to aim at me. I'm always up for a good laugh.

                  I'm trying to understand you
Check my signature. You see that shrink. She and a multitude of VA doctors have been attempting that for 45 years. They have failed, miserably. What chance do you think you have of breaking the code. lol

                  and make points.
Well, at least now we know what your motives are.

It seems you just want me to know how tough and macho you are.
It may seem that way to you, but that's not because of anything I have said or done. Macho is not in my vocabulary.

I've told you what I want from this discussion.
Yes, but I'm not obligating to feed your neediness.

That's my fault for not articulating my goals clearly. I want to understand where you're coming from, and find validity in your points.
What validity? What points? What are you talking about?

What is it you want from me?
Why do you think I want anything from you? You jumped down my throat and I responded. If there was something I wanted from you, you would have been aware of that in my initial post.

I'd love to talk on a one-to-one level instead of just fighting.
No one is fighting with you. I'm just pointing out your interactions I think you are fighting with yourself. Your imagining a series of events and attitudes that aren't real.

                  Looking forward to your reply.
                  And so you have it.

Lastly, please stop posing in enlarged, bold type. It violates the forum rules and it reeks of 'please pay attention to me.'

                  Beddy-bye time.

It depends on what works for each individual. If it is affiliate marketing that works for you go for it and stick to it. The same things apply to all money making ventures you can think of.

The new age has come and it is the age of the internet. Try taking a look at outsourcing, there isn't really any requirements to start an outsourcing business. All you need is a brain and the capacity to do work and manage it at the same time.

Different strokes for different folks. I like media buying and tweaking my campaigns. That's the fastest way imo. Of course you will need capital for that. But once you have a winning offer. Its just a matter of scaling : )

Ecommerce and Facebook....lots of ppl will tell you shopify stores but if you want to avoid the headache and hasale of everything that comes with I'd start promoting affiliate cps offers...there's a zillion of these now on most cpa networks...find it that sells then maybe think of building a store.
