Need PDF Presentation Distribution Ideas

I have a coupe pdf presentation from powerpoint and want to get them to as many people as possible. In the past, as I am now, submitting them to sites like slideserve, slideshare, etc., which I get some traction, but not that much. It's free services, so that's attractive, but I'm not getting the reach.

The presentations are for cheap advertising in a magazine that I run. I don't know if the niche make a difference...good, bad, or indifferent.

So basically, is there anyone who distributes pdf's and what have you found that works without breaking the bank?

Well, it's selling advertising, so I would say it's in business marketing, advertising.

The magazine itself is arts/entertainment, but the presentations are for the business side of things for advertising.

Your problem, to me, is the fact that you are confused about your audience.

In marketing, the niche makes all the difference in the world!

So if your magazine is in the "arts/entertainment" market, as you stated, then you should be marketing your PDF to businesses and owners that want to get in front of the audience that reads your arts/entertainment magazine. Doesn't that make sense?

When asked about your niche, you just stated ... "I would say it's in business marketing, advertising." IMO, that is not your niche. You niche is arts/entertainment if that's what your magazine is about.

Forget general business and advertising circles. You need to be appealing to specific businesses, services, and product sellers that already sell in the arts/entertainment market. The folks have things to sell to people with interest in the arts, etc. They are the ones that can benefit from ads in your magazine.

For marketing, any kind of marketing, to work best ... the offer always needs to be put in front of the people that are targeted for the offer's benefits. That's why I think you're confused about your audience.

    Good luck to you,

I'm not sure if any of us are getting this right!
Both ChrisBa & Steve B have spoken about niches the most important aspect. However I'm getting the impression that the niche is irrespective you are looking for sites to promote pdf's for traffic, is this correct??

Yes, that's right. This is just one presentation, there will be others. I'm very aware of my niche for the publication and I approach companies that fit into that niche usually one-on-one, which is where most of my sales come from. There seems to be a focus on niche, which was not my focus.

PDF distribution is about pdf's in general, the advertising is one that I have out right now. On sites, like the ones I mentioned in the post, ask for categories, which is usually a business or advertising catagory...that's more of why I answered the previous question the way I did.

Yes, I'm just looking for general ideas on pdf distribution and sharing, not only for what I have now, but for what I might have in the future that might be for a more general audience.

      Hopefully that clears things up.

Unfortunately this is not my forte, I've not tried using pdf's as a form of promotion. If you're trying to promote magazine advertising then perhaps issuu.com could be a platform to explore. Maybe another approach altogether, how about putting the pdf's into a video (fiverr.com), and the try YouTube either in your own channel or find age channel and approach the owner.
